After upgrading Lightroom , it will not run, have uninstalled and re installed also.
Need help, upgraded Lightroom via creative cloud, since installing it will not open. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the programme, but it is still not running.

Firefox wants to restart my computer repeatedly after upgrade attempt, but will not run firefox.
I attempted to upgrade firefox on my computer (Windows XP) and it hung up, so I closed the program. I reopened and attempted to download the newest version and got a message that said I had to reboot for changes to take effect. I reboot the computer and attempted to open firefox, only to get the message that I needed to reboot. So I did, again, and when I try to open firefox I keep getting this message.
I tried to remove firefox so I could reinstall a fresh version and when I go to the Windows add/remove program tool, it tells me I have to reboot everytime I click on the remove button.A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I have lightroom 5.7 installed, and have just downloaded / installed Lightroom CC, but although lightroom 5 runs ok, Lightroom CC will not run, any ideas please.
What seems to be working for many users (myself included) is to sign out of CC and then sign back in. After signing back in, LR will run.

Using Adobe 11 reader, now comes up with an error, once file is opened. 'Invalid plugin detected, Adobe reader will quit. Closes the program so cannot view PDF files. Running windows 7. I have uninstalled and re-installed Adobe still the same. HELP
Sounds like something has been added into the Reader folder. I would recommend uninstalling, running http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, removing any left over parts of the Reader folder (this might have been the problem), reboot, and reinstall. Hopefully that solves the problem. For future question about Reader, you should consider asking in the Reader forum, this is not it.

Without proper system information and other details like what files you work with nobody can tell you much. From corrupted prefs to issues with your PS swap file to actual problems with the fiel storage this could be anything.

Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

When I connect my iphone and open itunes the iphone icon shows up but when I click it nothing happens and the icon disappears. I have uninstalled and re-installed itunes. I have updated to Itunes 10.5 on Windows and everytime i start it now, it says "updating Itunes library" and crashes at around 75%. i have uninstalled and re-installed it. No joy! Someone help! Thanks Umar.
Lets see whether this file APSDaemon.exe is the problem here.
Close your iTunes.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del key and choose Task Manager. In the "Processes" Tab, select the file APSDaemon.exe and click End Prosses button, then close the task manager window.
Now open itunes and see if it is working?
