After upgrading to 10.9.5 on iMac, App Store is not working
Hi,
please help me solve this...
I upgraded from 10.6.8 to 10.9.5
After that I cannot open Appstore at all, after I click on the icon it does not load at all. Also, when using Mail app, It downloads all emails from server, when I click on a message, mail will quit unexpectedly.

Also having that problem - I checked and I am connected to internet (can access other websites or other pages in Apple's website), can login from Snow Leopard (10.6.8) with Mac App Store there, but if I use the (external) drive with ML to start up, no go.
I can get to the "Featured"/initial MAS page, and tried going to the login from there, but same problem as Mitoshacer.

I have a MacBook Pro Retina display: 15.4-inch late 2015 with OS X Mavericks install, only on second week.
Insight works on FaceTime, Skype, but yahoo program does not show insight cam in dropped down.
Now when I got my new MacBook Pro, I down loaded all new Skype (worked tested), FaceTime (Worked Tested), Yahoo (not worked)
Fix:
With the new Maverick you have to use there messager program Version 8.0 (4218). Once I add my yahoo account video works again.
It also supported AOL, AIM, Google Talk, Jabber.

Having the same problem. No response from Apple as I tried all the suggestions. Had to perform a system restore. Currently iy's working. Make sure you backup everything to your computer. IOS6 is still glitchy in other areas.

After upgrading iOS 7 on my iPhone 5, the wifi is not working . It cannot detect any wifi nor am I able to enable wifi under settings. Is there a way for me to fix this?

If you are having issues with enabling Wifi on your iPhone you may want to try a couple of things to troubleshoot. First of all I would quit all open applications on the phone and try again. See this previous thread for how -

My app store is not working after installing mavericks. When I open app store it repeatedly asking me to login with apple ID and to provide User name and Password for proxy authentication in a loop.I am a newbie to mac,Please help me.
Hmmmm... would appear that you need to be actually logged in to enable the additional menu features.
Have you tried deletting the plists for MAS?

I cannot connect to APP Store. I upgraded to IOS 8.3 and APP Store has not worked since. I am being asked to type my user name /password and nothing happens afterwards. No error messages either.

In most scenarios you shouldn't need to forward ports, however if you need to, you may be best contacting your ISP.

I can not open aperture databases anymore as osx10.9 keeps telling me i have opened it with a newer version, which i have not but i understand from other discussions that thru the upgrade of iphoto osx automatically thinks that you have opened with aperture 3.5. the app store does not show me the update as i have not purchased the program thru the app store but on dvd. what to do?
If you are running MacOS X 10.9 and Aperture is installed in your Applications folder and simply called Aperture, not Apertre 3 or something, the AppStore should be showing you the update.
Have you already updated to Aperture 3.4.5 from the Support page Aperture 3.4.5?
Try to update manually to 3.4.5 and then reboot and sign again into the AppStore with your AppleID and look at the Update page.
For some forum members it helped to set the main system language to English U.S. to make the update finally show.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, or by corruption of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
Windows 7 professional with Windows Media Player 11 and WMP plugin for Firefox 4 doesn´t work, but on WinXP it does work normally with the same plugin version after upgrade to FF4.

After upgrading my mac to Firefox 10 my homepage doesn't load, the back button doesn't work, there is no history in the URL bar (or any URL showing at all come to that), bookmark toolbar doesn't show unless I press CTRL and right click, none of my bookmarks are showing the saved login information...... HELP!!!! its driving me mad!
I ended up purging the entire system of Firefox including the cache because I couldn't update two of the plug ins. I installed Firefox again but still don't have
a bookmark bar.
Importing bookmarks from Safari is no longer a couple of clicks. First I had to export the file from Safari, and it installed on a dropdown menu. That's too much like Internet Explorer. At least with IE you can choose which version to use.
Everything I liked on Firefox 9 is gone in Firefox 10...or at least I can't find it! :D -
The stock quotes, fox sports and movie times content fields do not display and the controls do not work on any of content boxes. The customize and add content tabs do nothing. This all worked with 3.6 but not with 4.0.
A column in the search results was changed to a Simple Checkbox when we upgraded to 4.0 (it has always been a checkbox in the older APEX versions). When I put it back to Standard Report Column I no longer get the page not found error.
Is there some additional/different setting I need to do in order to use the simple checkbox option in a search results set?
ETA: I see now that Checkboxes are not intended to work in standard report regions so I'll change them to LOVs or something and my problem should be solved.

now reconnect to wifi
settings- wifi- click network name- enter password - join
if issue persists back up and restore as new via iTunes
