After upgrading to 2.1, I'm having problem with it.

I'm having a problem after I download the iTunes 8. When my iphone was done after the upgrade of 2.1. A popup of a warning, saying "The Required Disk is missing." But when I went to the iPhoneUpdaterLogs, I look and find that I was missing a Firmware in the iPhone Device Support. I guess that what it say. I need help. Can anyone find how to find the firmware?

I figured it out after reading alot of other related topic. I unchecked the "Sync Photo" and sync it. It was fine, then I went to rename few photos. Then when I checked the "Sync Photo" then sync, it work fine.

Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Also, I have two computers and the other is running the exact same version of Firefox, and the exact same theme, but it does not have this problem.
To make sure I'm being clear: there is an "x" on each tab that allows me to close it when I have multiple tabs open. When I have only one tab open, there is no "x"; so in order to close the webpage I have to open another empty tab, and then close the first. My other computer has the "x" to close the tab visible even when there is only one tab so that I can close the page and have an empty (marked "(untitled)" tab). Please help!

Sorry, Swanarva, It didn't work as it was supposed to. I downloaded, saved file, clicked the download to open, clicked 'run' then got an error message that it couldn't find the file(!) . No idea what happened or why. Should I have uninstalled Firefox first, then downloaded Firefox 8 using another browser or downloaded, uninstalled Firefox 09 beta then tried installing Firefox 8?
At this rate, IE is looking good, despite its shortcomings.

Ok, so far we have three reports of this (from Lum1r, aaron and catfordboyjohn). You're all using Macs.
Could you each please let us know the exact Mac and Keyboard you're using?
1) Go To "About This Mac" in the Apple Menu
2) Click "More Info..."
3) Click "System Report"
4) Copy and paste the "Model Identifier" from the "Hardware Overview" display.
It should be something like: Model Identifier: MacBookPro10,1
What keyboard are you using? Is it a standard Apple USB connected keyboard?
Do you using any "accessibility" utilities or OS settings that may alter the behavior of the keyboard?

Everytime I switch to traditional chinese the computer become extremely slow and the finally freezed. However, when I am using visitor account, I can type in traditional chinese without any problem. How should I fix this?

Normally differences like that between main and visitor accounts indicate a bad .plist in Home/Library/Preferences in the main account. I don't know which one might cause this...

Try going into your settings and 'reset all settings'
You will need to retweak your device but it's been said to help with sound issues.

The latest flash player release is 11,0,1,152.
Can you upgrade to this version and see whether the crash stil exists?

I have had the same problem but I seem to be getting somewhere to fixing it!!! My battery was going down at 20% an an hour now its 10% with constant use and 5 in standby !!! So improvement all round
First I did a restore then I drained the battery i started to charge it and when it came on I turned the phone off completely and let it charge to 100% I then left it for a couple of hours on charge at 100. I saw no improvement after 1st drain so I repeated the drain battery and charge steps again with the phone turned off when charging and have seen a very big improvement. I am going to do it again tonight and hopefully problem solved!!!!
The next issue is iMessage as that's playing up and wifi drop out

Sorry for the late reply. My email firewall has become a little over zealous & sent a lot of my emails straight to my junk email folder, so I have only just now discovered your reply in my junk mail folder.
The only "don't open files exceeding xxx megabytes" instruction I can find in my Prefs, is in the Bridge Prefs for Thumbnails, & mine is set at 1000mb. The biggest files I handle are bigger than 200mb so I should be able to open a few, not just one.
However, this doesn't explain why I can open a psd format file of 180mb, close it, but then can't open a RAW format file of only 26mb immediately after.
I can open the RAW file only if I restart my computer - very annoying!
However, thanks for the advice about the video card & memory.

WMA files are 'window media audio' files, which is a Microsoft format. If you want to add them to your iTunes library on your Mac then you will need to convert them into a compatible format first. If you still have your windows machine then iTunes for Windows can convert them from WMA to MP3 format : https://discussions.apple.com/message/24158701#24158701
Or try a search for, for example, 'convert wma to mp3' to find programs to convert them.
