It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

Ok.. see if emptying the Safari cache helps.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
Quit and relaunch Safari and try sharing a webpage.

Cannot view OWA email - after upgrade to Firefox 5.0, Outlook Web Access displays ASCII characters (garbage) in message body. Same issue with multiple servers.

Email body of HTML or RTF messages are rendered in ASCII characters after upgrading to Firefox 5 when viewing email in MS Outlook Web Access (OWA) light from MS Exchange 2007 servers. Issue is repeatable with two entirely different Exchange systems.
Text email renders OK. Work around is to forward email (in use MS-IE).

(1) You say you did the symbolic link. I will assume this is set correctly; it's very important that it is.
(2) I don't know what you mean by "Been feeding the [email protected] for several weeks now, 700 emails each day at least." After the initial training period, SpamAssassin doesn't learn from mail it has already processed correctly. At this point, you only need to teach SpamAssassin when it is wrong. [email protected] should only be getting spam that is being passed as clean. Likewise, [email protected] should only be getting legitimate mail that is being flagged as junk. You are redirecting mail to both [email protected] and [email protected] ... right? SpamAssassin needs both.
(3) Next, as I said before, you need to implement those "Frontline spam defense for Mac OS X Server." Once you have that done and issue "postfix reload" you can look at your SMTP log in Server Admin and watch as Postfix blocks one piece of junk mail after another. It's kind of cool.
(4) Add some SARE rules:

Web Page not rendering in IE 6 and 7

I've created a web page and validated the HTML/CSS both
within DW and using the W3C CSS validator. Both returned no errors
but when I try to view the page using IE 6 or 7 the page is blank.
I'm guessing it has to do with the CSS. Does anyone know this
issue and how to fixit?

Disable saving Quicktime in web page (not though html).

Is there a way to disable saving (downloading) of a Quicktime file, with this (kioske mode?) encoded into the clip itself. I can't access the html of the web page in this case (using iWeb). It's been a few years since I've done this, I think there used to be something called 'Quicktime Helper' that did this with OS9, but I can't seem to find much recent information about doing this. (Note: I do know you can't 100% keep people from downloading a Quicktime clip if they really want to figure out how, I'm fine with making it more difficult with the uses I have in mind.) The file will open in QuickTime Player. See if your "Pro" version can save it.
I used a very old AppleScript droplet in version 6 to set the internal flags to make the file un-editable.
Trouble is that version 7 chokes on this droplet and doesn't work. Since I still have a Panther OS on a partition I can still use it.
I really don't have a 7.3 "fix" for that droplet and it stopped working properly in all of the updates to QuickTime since.

After reset my Firefox no longer opens web pages automatically when I type the keywords in the Location bar. How do I fix this?

Before I reset my Firefox I was able to just type words in the Location bar and Firefox would redirect me to the website. For example, typing "reservoir dogs imdb" would redirect to the IMDB page of this movie, and typing a random sequence of characters would take me to (for example) a website of some company that uses these characters as the abbreviation of its name.
I never set this option anywhere, it was just like that for quite a long time. Now this possibility is gone for me and I can't seem to fix it.
I use the laters Mozilla Firefox 21.

Starting with Firefox 23 the keyword.URL pref is no longer supported and it is no longer possible to specify the search engine for the location bar that way (keyword.enabled still works to disable this search).
The search engine that is used on the location bar and on the about:home page is the search engine that is selected in the search Bar on the Navigation Toolbar.
You can install the Keyword Search extension to specify with search engine to use for the location bar and which search engine to use for the about:home page via the Options/Preferences windows of this extension, accessible via the about:addons page.

Every time I search with Google, I get a search result, but if I select one and click on it, the link does not open. Instead the page becomes pale and the sign "no feedback" appears. Also the scroll function does not work anymore. Impossible to use a Google link. I had to use the "Windows Explorer" again where Google works properly. (With the older Firefox Version I had never problems)

I wish it were that but a long time ago when I had a problem with the gadgets with iGoogle back 6 months ago thereabouts I was asked to disable it then and I did and I just went to re-check and it is still not enabled, however, it will not let me un-install it though.. It only gives me an option to enable or disable.. Any advice ? So I'm wondering if it is something else still or is there a problem with the avast still ?

When i right click on and email firefox brings up a web page options box over top of the email option box . What can I do to prevent this

When in final web mail or yahoo mail if I right click to work with an email message a webpage options box appears over top of the email options box. This has never happened before today. What has changed and how can I correct this.

Web page not rendering properly

I recently switched my site to a Macbook laptop & the
page is all squished to the left. I ALSO switched from Dreamweaver
8 (on a pc) to CS3 (on a mac).
It rendered properly in win XP, but not so on the mac - is
there a way to figure out what I am doing?!? the browser preview
looks fine, it looks fine online, but in Dreamweaver CS3 the
template formats the main body text and menus in a straight line -
not at all whiziwig. I spent an hour trying to find out who to

I hate when people use those "tinyurl" type of addresses.
First it hides the real address which should be known which is:

1.0 Strict you need to have a container to put around block level

The width and height have to do with using CSS. Those can be

CSS. Pretty much if the validator says it should not be defined it
means it should be defined in the CSS code not the HTML.
Target="_blank" is the only interesting one. That is replaced by
the following javascript on links:

BTW, I am testing using Safari and Firefox on my Powerbook

It sounds like you are unable to activate your iPhone after you reset it. I recommend the steps from the following article to help you get that resolved:

I'm having a potpourri/Hat-Trick of issues after upgrading to Firefox 7.0.1

The only reason I'm asking is because the three new issues occurred immediately after upgrading from the last install of Firefox to the newest release, Firefox 7.0.1
The first: for some reason I have to go to about:config to reset the "Close Tabs" part from 3 to the default 1 setting...which is having a Close Tab "X" on the tab. It means I have to right-click and select the bottom option on the drop down menu to close tabs I'm through with using.
The second: Most of the time Google Videos will not function on 3rd party web sites (Like "Documentary Storm"). I have to redirect to the Google Video webpage to watch Google featured documentaries that have been embedded in some documentary sites.
There are now more frequent error messages of "Not Responding" on websites...the screen locks up for a few seconds before going backwards or forwards (On "The Chive", "The Brigade", and many other picture or video oriented websites.) The scroll bar on the right side of the screen is also locking up which means the "Not Responding" error message is popping up for this also.
All of these are different from each other and at first thought would be issues I need to take up with tech support for the different programs I use. That is my next step, but I was very curious if anybody else was having similiar problems after upgrading to Firefox 7.0.1.
I'm not sure if a couple things might be set off by incompatible Addons. None of the symptoms jive with known incompatibility problems with 7.0.1. and with none of my Addons either. It was just very coincidental things went awry in 3 different areas that had worked 10 minutes previous to the upgrade.
Any ideas or similarity with other folk's upgrade issues?

Thank you for describing the problems so well. I also have been going nuts trying to restore my Itunes Library to its original (or acceptable) condition. I have a 5th gen 30G Video with about 4250 songs on it. After downloading 7 I found that every song in my Library had been dulplicated or triplicated. Then, a day latr, when I had downloaded album art, I discovered that every other song in any album I had downloaded (from Itunes or my own cd)prior to perhaps version 5 or version 6 could not be found. Luckily, I had an generation 4 Ipod with the original Library and I was able to download that to my external harddrive. I have spending pointless, arduous hours pointing Itunes to the correct file. Its faster to re-download the CD. Of course, I can't do that for any music I had bought from Itunes directly. Its weird because the name of the song is in Itunes, just the file can't be found. And why every other file? When I go into earlier (6 and before)Itunes Libraries, the music files are missing from them. Where did they go? When I try to sync my Ipod with Itunes, it takes forever because Itunes is searching for the missing files. I have tried to ask Apple support directly but I have gotten no response. After I click close on the box, then Firefox will start. I really just want to get the error fixed so that when I want firefox open, I don't have to see this box anymore.

You need to figure out which add-on is causing that error and disable it until the developer of that add-on fixes it. There may be an error message about that in the Error Console, accessed through the Web Developer menu item or through {Ctrl + Shft + J}.

After upgrading to Firefox 36.0.4, it automatically installed noscript

After upgrading to Firefox 36.0.4, it removes all my existing add-on extension.
In addition, "noscript" was automatically installed and there is no way to remove it.
The "noscript" add-on does not show up in any of the add-on extension for me to disable/remove it.
I even tried adding noscript from the add-on so that the noscript add-on shows up in the
firefox extension page so that I could remove it but that does not remove the
original noscript that comes with Firefox 36.0.4
Hopefully there is a way for user to remove this and it is not part of Firefox 36.0.4.
At least allow user the options of using it or remove it.
