After upgrading to idvd 7.0.2 old project no longer can be built

It is very annoying, because idvd 6.0.4 perfectly did the job, idvd 7.0.0 in the same project rendered green slides instead of transitions in slideshows and idvd 7.0.2 after 9 hours of work returns multiplexing error. I tried solutions, that were gived to similar problem in other topics, such as removing idvd's preferences and cahe files, but it didn't help. I don't have any problems, shown in dvd map, I import movies as .dv files, not from iMovie, I tried using different compression settings (High Quality, Best Performance, Prof. Quality), but nothing helped. The most funny thing is that, when I removed all movies, and left slideshows only, the project still returned the error. Also what I noticed, is that during the final stage of asset parsing, idvd project file actually increased in size to somewhat 3.64 Gb, almost equal to what was shown in disk meter in project info.
Any sugests? I would be very thankful to any kind of help, because the issue really took very long time with no result.

Dear SDMacuser,thanks for the information. But I have been using idvd since 2005. And have never had any kind of problems - neither with correct slideshows rendering nor with burning. However with idvd 7.0.2 have I encountered the new problem during attempt to create video_ts folder and disc image -There was a problem during multiplexing/burning. Removing perian component also hasn't helped. What could I try doing next?
