After upgrading to OS 8 on my iphone 5, suddenly all my contacts had Facetime capabilities. I only want to FT with a few people Unwanted FT calls now ring on both my iphone and ipad. I tried to edit and delete FT capabilities in both Contacts and Facetime icon, but there is no field to delete for this. How do I delete Factime from my contacts list? thanks for any help with this.

Thank you for your suggestion. I backup on itunes. I went to itunes, deleted syncing my contacts, then re-synced them. But the Facetime capability option continues to be there on most (not all, for some curious reason) of my contacts. I am not sure I posed my question correctly. I want to be able to FT with my family, so don't want to delete the FT capability totally from my iphone and ipad. But I don't want all these other iphone calls from various contacts to ring on my ipad as FT calls. I want a way to select with whom I have FT capabilities. Any further suggestions? The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

In Logic:
Preferences/Audio Set Recording Delay to 0 <zero>
This should always be set to zero unless a specific set of circumstances exist and you're audio drivers do not report position correctly.
On occasion, usually when importing a Logic 9 project, Logic-X randomly changes this to a negative/positive number. It's actually a bug in Logic, as it should always display the waveform.

My iPhone 5 camera roll is empty, but under usage says 3.1GB - how can I delete?

I can't download the latest iPhone software b/c my Camera Roll is taking up 3.1GB of space, but it shouldn't be as I have only about 10 photos on my camera roll. Photo stream is off, as well as photo sharing. Any help would be appreciated!

I tried to do this:
Settings > General > Usage > Photos & Camera > swipe on Camera Roll and tap Delete.
But it does not give me an option to delete - no Edit button, no swiping Delete button. Is that a glitch or am I missing something?
Also, I read about iExplorer and tried a demo - there were quite a few files under a folder labeled DMIV or something...tried to delete but they wanted me to buy the software before I could. Don't know if this is a scam or if there are hidden photo files which is what it seems like.

I am seeing links appear inside my website that I did not create. This problem is not occurring with IE9 - just firefox. How can I prevent someone from putting these strange links in my site.

Someone is putting links inside my website - I did not create these links and do not have any idea who has put them on my index page. How can this be prevented and how can the links be removed. I have overwritten the files but that does not help. This problem does not happen with IE9 or any other browser, I only see these links when I use firefox to load my site (prevailingword.net)

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Powerbooks have heat sensors that control the fan. The fan can run and not be heard unless the speed increases. If the powerbook thinks it's getting to hot it can start going into a shutdown mode.Thats a safety feature. Now if the sensor is reading heat wrong you might need to reset you PMU- power management control. since I don't know what model powerbook you have, I need to refer you to the apple article on it. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1431

HT201210 Trying to restore a new iphone 4 to files from an iphone 3, however, the restore says it can't complete because there isn't enough space. I would like to delete photos and music files. How can I delete these photos?

1, you can't at the moment, though with iOS 5 in the Autumn, from http://www.apple.com/ios/ios5/features.html#photos :

2, by removing it from you synced from and re-syncing. Only photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad (either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view)
3, the location of the photos that you synced to the iPad should be listed on the iPad's Photos tab when connected to your computer's iTunes.
4, you can copy the photos from your iPad to your computer : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 . You should also be able to delete them from the iPad as part of the transfer process to your computer, and it's then your choice whether to add them to your sync photo list so as to copy them back to the iPad. Copying them to your computer would allow you to organise them into folders and therefore be able to sync them back into separate albums.
5, I don't use Dropbox either. There are some third-party browser apps in the iTunes App Store that allow you to download pages so that you can view them when offline e.g. Atomic Web (the whole page is saved within Atomic Web, it doesn't place a photo into the Photos app)
6, deleting content should help. If you remove an app from your iPad then you also remove the content that it's got on the iPad - so if you then decide to reinstall it back onto the iPad then you will need to manually add back any content that you want in it. None of the Apple built-in apps (including Photos) can be removed from the iPad
