After upgrading to OSX Mountain Lion, I cannot upgrade iMovie. I get a message that says that I have updates available for other accounts. Any suggestions?
After upgrading to Mountain Lion 10.8.2, I'm not able to update iMovie. I think this app came with my MacBook Pro, late 2011. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I can send email with both my acccounts (including icloud) and I can receive email with my alternative account. All my servers have been previously working with Lion. I am having the same or a similar problem. When I open iCloud in system preferences and tick on Mail I get the message 'mail can't enabled at this time - Wait a moment and then try turning on Mail again'. I did this several times and it didn't work. I then completely turned off iCloud completely and restarted it, but I was still unable to access mail using iCloud (I was, however, able to access all of the other iCloud services). I then waited three days, to see if the issue would resolve its self, but it hasn't. Any suggestions as to how I can resolve this would be appreciated.

In Message Menu > Preference > Accounts you should at least have the iMessage Account (Which is Enabled) and th Bonjour one that most likely is not.
After that if you had iChat type AIM valid Screen Names or Jabber IDs in an earlier OS then the System Preferences > Mail, Contacts and Calendars should list them and have them set to be used with Messages.
There is a vague chance that you have not set these up yet (you can do it in Messages or Mail, Contacts and Calendars)
Once you have a t least one other "Account" other than th iMessage one in Messages then the Buddy List option will appear next to CMD and 1 in the Window menu list.
NEXT
If you go to the General Section of the Messages Preferences you can unlink several Buddy lists if you have them (By default they are shown as one gathered Buddy list)

Mainstage always crashes after I upgraded to OSX Mountain Lion. Doesn't matter if I choose 32bit or 64bit mode. I sent all the error reports to Apple but no help from there. I heard rumours that Mountain Lion creates the problem. With Lion I had no problem. Logic Pro runs without issues. So what can I do now? Do I have to reinstall Logic Studio and then download all the updates again? Hopefully not.. Any advice? Thanks to all! Ben
Try delete the mainstage preferences
from USER/library/preferences com.apple.mainstage.plist
even if you are running mainstage 2.1.3 and not 2.2.2 it should work with mountain lion -

after just a few days after downloading OSX Mountain Lion when I turned the computer on, the screen was white. Stayed white. I had to go onto another
computer to find out what to do. What caused this and will this happen again?Did you see a circle made of light grey hash marks in the center/bottom of the screen? My iMac is 5 years old and for every update until 10.8.2 I would get the same white screen and the first few times I paniced and thought the machine was broken! Just let it play out until the desktop comes back up and it should not do it again until you do a system update.

Further I am able to download other programs from the app store (like growl) but it does not work for Mountail Lion ????
I looked through the forum and one post said that i have to use lion recovery to reinstall osX lion but then it defetes the objective of upgrading.

I write in greek as well as english on my mac (osx mountain lion) problem is, there is no spell checking on pages, and yes, i have added a greek dictionary in the library spelling folder. and i can also select it from the inspector. what's wrong?
You need to give more details:
1. What version of Pages?
2. Where did you get the Greek dictionary from and exactly how did you install it?
3. Are you applying the language to your text?

Make sure your Mac qualifies for Mountain Lion > Upgrade your Mac to OS X Mountain Lion.
If you have anti virus software installed, disable that before downloading apps.
Turn off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security (or Security & Privacy) > Firewall
Try deleting the cache, cookies, and preference files (plist) associated with the App Store.
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Click Go
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Now here:
~/Library/Preferences
Click Go
Move these files from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
com.apple.appstore.plist
com.apple.storeagent.pllist
Now here:
~/Library/Cookies
Click Go
Move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
Empty the Trash, try the App Store. -
I just bought a Mac Book Pro and the Appstore show one upgrade of iPhoto (9.2.1). I started a section with my Apple ID (the account that I have I use to iTunes) but when I try to update it says that there are upgrades available for other accounts and that I have to upgrade using the account that I used to buy iPhoto.
