After uppdate I can't use my certificate at my bank

After update to FF4 I can't sign my bills at my bank site. FF hang up when I try to write pin of my electronic signature and after long time show a "technical problem" To restart FF doesn't help. To restart computer doesn't help.
I must start Internet Explorer to pay my bills!

Two initial thoughts:
(1) Does your bank require a special plug-in or other add-on in order to sign bills? Some add-ons may be disabled during a Firefox 4 upgrade because they are not marked as compatible. These are identified by being grayed out in Tools > Add-ons. If no update is available, you might check with your bank on whether you need a new version from them or whether you might need to roll back to Firefox 3.6.
(2) Some web sites are not fully compatible with the new HTML5 parser in Firefox 4. To see whether this is the problem, you can turn it off like this:
(i) Type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Alt+Enter to open the preferences editor in a new tab. Click the button promising to be careful.
(ii) In the filter box, type or paste '''html5''' and pause while the list is filtered
(iii) Double-click '''html5.parser.enable''' to toggle it to false (the line should turn bold).
Return to your page and reload, then try to sign again.
Does that make any difference? If so, there could be something a little bit wrong in the page, or you have found a bug in Firefox.

I have a question I have been playing with for a few days,
I have the following setup,
2 sites connected via a VPN and a DAG configured between sites.
Site 1-Head Office
2 exchange 2010 servers,
1 running CAS and Mailbox (this server is entry point to all clients for owa etc.)
1 running Hub, CAS, Mailbox. (this is the main server and a DAG Member)
We have a UNC certificate associated with all records pointing to remote access and its installed on both servers.
** Everything in this site works fine.
** The AD DNS server does not have a zone for the public domain with all the external records only the .local domain. Planning to change this soon.
Site 2.
1 exchange 2010 servers,
1 running Hub, CAS, Mailbox. (this is the main server for this site, a DAG Member and no entry point at this time but we intend to use it for redundancy)
** Currently all BD are on server in site 1.
** The AD DNS server does not have a zone for the public domain with all the external records only the .local domain. Planning to change this soon.
My questions are as follows:
1      on site 2’s the cas server can I use the same certificate I’m using onsite 1. in other words all clients currently use mail.domain.com which has an IP pointing to site 1, can I use that same certificate in site 2 and associate
it with the CAS server there? (in the event of a failover I just change the records IP)
2      All smtp traffic come through site 1, when I test moving active databases to site 2, all email stay in the ques of exchange server in site one, they don’t get delivered. (I have not set AD replication through smtp so don’t know
if this is a factor)
3      When I do set the active databases to site 2, webmail and remote services stop working, I get the infamous error when logging onto webmail, service unavailable because it’s been moved. I have read a lot about this being an internal
external url issue.
All these issues im starting to think they all interlinked, and would like some help.

Yes. Understand that until you swap your external DNS so it points to Site 2, the mail.domain.com won't be accessed, but it will be there for when you want it to be.
AD replication is not the issue, so don't try to set it to use SMTP. If you have hub servers in both sites, your inbound Internet email should be delivered from the Site 1 hubs to the Site 2 hubs. We may need more information before we can give
you a good answer for this question. However, you may check the following TechNet article (and its links) for assistance.

[PROBLEM SOLVED] After last update, Can't use keyboard in Xorg

Apparently the last system upgrade installed "xf86-input-keyboard-1.3.2-1-i686" but I reverted back to "xf86-input-keyboard-1.3.1-1-i686" and everything is working again.
Lesson learned: put all xorg related packages to hold because my geforce2 mx440 won't need updates.
This is just frustrating. After doing a system upgrade (which upgraded xorg to version 1.5) I can't use the keyboard anymore. In fact, my screen would freeze also, as long as I was using the latest Xorg version. This machine's card is a geforce2 mx440.
So I downgraded xorg-server with pacman -Rd xorg-server and pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/xorg-server-yadayada1.4yadayada; Fine, I can use the mouse and open X just as normal as before. BUT the keyboard seems helpless.

No Idea about your problem after downgrading (expect just as a guess, there is some problem with xbinkeys when it is autostarted with the window manager -- http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=65468).

After 4.2 can't use accentuation properly in Ipad

Need help please.
After upgrading to 4.2 software can't use the keyboard properly anymore. The accentuation in portuguese from Brasil doesn't work. I also tried French and Spanish keyboard too, without results.
Has anybody from Brazil, or other country experienced the same problem after upgrading to the new software?
I would appreciate if somebody could help me.

Thank you for your reply.
When using 3.2 and holding down the vowel keys in spanish and french keyboard, some vowels I could accent. The 3.2 soft didn´t have portuguese yet. After 4.2, using portuguese / Brazillian, In the popup menu with accented characters, When I hold down C, for example, pressing Ç, I have "cf" characters. The tilde "~" appears "ae", and the acute accent "'" doesnt´t appear. I have tried other languages, but they don´t work too. I will try a little more. If impossible, I will contact Apple for a help.

Satellite L670-DX1 - after SP1 installation can't use memory card reader

Since I have upgraded my Satellite L670-DX1 from Win7 64Bits to Win7 64 bits SP1 (2 days ago) I can't use my memory card reader anymore, it always says it is a bad card and I should better reformat the card, with any card.
Does anyone have a similar problem or even better a solution for me?

Can I Use iTunes Store without Storing Bank Accounts, etc, in my Profile?

Today a fraudulent charge of $89.99 appeared on my iTunes account. This suggests that a hacker has obtained my password, and hence access to all information in my iTunes account, including credit card or Paypal account information. I can deal with having to claim refunds for fraudulent iTunes purchases, but I cannot afford to risk ID Theft, or to have my back account information in the possession of hackers.
(1) Is it possible to maintain an iTunes account that does not store bank accounts, and ideally stores no personal information other than my email address?
(2) If I can do this, I assume I'd then have to enter that information for each purchase. Will this information be expunged once the ourchase is complete? Or would it remain on the system in some form, accessible to hackers?
(3) If (1) is not possible, how do I cancel my iTunes account? There does not seem to be such an option on the iTunes Account Management screens.

You can remove your credit card from your account. Go into the account, click "Edit payment information" and you will see the option under credit card to click "None."
For purchasing, you can either enter the card info per transaction, or you can start using iTunes gift cards which are readily available.

After Flashback database can I use my backups?

I performed a flashback database and then opened the database with
alter database open resetlogs;
Now when I try the following command in rman I get this message:

I'm trying to integrate Exchange and Lyn Server. One of the first steps is to bind a correct certificate to IIS on all of the CAS servers and set it as a main certificate in the global AuthConfig object. The certificate must be the same on all of the
CAS servers because the autodiscover.domain.local DNS record points to all of them, and Lync Server uses this FQDN to access Exchange servers. The thumbprint of this certificate must be specified in Set-AuthConfig command run on an Exchange server.
We have an internal enterprise CA. I generated a certificate on one of the CAS servers and bound it to all of the Exchange services. Then I exported it, imported it on the second CAS server and bound it to all of the services as well. Now Exchange correctly uses
it for OWA, for example, and IE gives no security warnings when I connect to OWA.
However, whenever I run Set-AuthConfig command on any server, it keeps telling me that
The certificate with thumbprint XXXX was found but is not valid for use with Exchange Server (reason: PrivateKeyNotAccessible).
The key IS accessible - I can export the certificate along with its private key. What's wrong?

Here's the answer.
It seems that the -Server switch in the Set-AuthConfig command is only used to specify where you want to look for the certificate with the given thumbprint. However, it's impossible to predict which Exchange server will actually perform the operation
(the Server switch doesn't influence it a bit). It could be ANY server, even a mailbox one with no CAS role at all. And, of course, another Exchange server has no access to the certificate store of the CAS server where the certificate is actually stored. It
was exactly the case in my environment.
So in order to enable this certificate you must import it on ALL of your Exchange servers. You need't (and even shouldn't) enable it for any services on your mailbox servers if you don't want to, just import it.

Exchange 2013 crash after installing CU9, can i use the database on a backup?

so just installed tried to install CU 9 on Exchange 2013, installed fine and rebooted BSOD problem with ndis.sys, have a backup but dont wanna loose too much mail, can i restore the old backup and copy the databases and logs from the crashed exchange? if it is possible would i need to run some commands afterwards or would it just work?

Here is the info from iTunes help.
Check the last sentence is the most important one: You can only use the certificate if your country is the same as the country from the gift certificate.

Can't use time machine due to corruptness even after reinstalling snow lepoard how to fix?

Yes, someone stole my original apple id in 2009. Now i bought another iphone in late 2012 , Created another apple id due to Apple not being able to help me access my original apple id. Which now since 2 months ago someone or company, or bank stole my second apple id. My iphone 4s with Sprint has no celluar connection supossedly due to no internet that is what sprint said but I looked it up on apple and it stated that there is a cellluar block on my iphone4s.
So I guess I will have to go in person to Sprint so they can explain that to me and why I was lied to on the phone earlier. Back to my 2nd stolen apple id that I registered my macbook,airport express router, and iphone4s and apple TV. So who ever stole this apple id obviously took over all my mac products I had registered to it. Enough about that back to trying to use time machine....Everytime i do, my macbook just starts acting all screwed up. I bought a WD external drive for Mac but I believe someone must have claimed it too. Since there is 75gb on it that I can't access. Kind of like my Macbook stating I can't save or have access to the Root . That is another thing after reinstalling snow lepoard which works great until I update it. Which is a problem because everytime I update it to 10.6.8 All the permissions are changed the graphics look horrible and I get redirected so bad its not funny. The email account is a joke. Also I notice my stationary for email is in Spanish not sure why and on Iworks the document samples are also in spanish. Now I dont speak any other language except ENGLISH AND HAVE LIVED IN UNITEDSTATES MY ENTIRE LIFE. But my internet provider Fibrant which swears they are local shows it is in the UK also when i try to access my email for that account it states it is not safe , certificate is expired and someone might be trying to impersonate my server. Needless to say it is getting old. I had this same problem with Timewarner and Att except att would just remove my ethernet driver then laugh when i would call and ask what the problem was. Then later I find out when I had DSL that somehow the phone number they had listed was change to being a digit off from my DSL account which again they laughed and thought it was funny. About my macbook and apple ID how can I upgrade my Macbook from 10.6.3 to 10.6.8 with out all the permissions being changed and corrupt?? I have tried several times and it is always the same. I won't to connect my iphone to itunes to try to restore it but it states I have to update it to 10.6.8. When I do that my computer is alot worse off. Also how can I use TimeMachine with out my Macbook getting messed up? Something in my house has taken over anything with a usb port actually years ago and probably now something kept turning all my computers and phones or any electronic I owned it to a printer. I actually can't even use a printer in my home thats the funny thing. When I try to connect one when I used windows it stated I had no rights to it and couldn't use it. Since I switch to Mac not much better. When I try to print a test page it is all crooked and too small of half off the page. So it is upsetting that I can't use a printer but something keeps turning all my electronics into printers. If anyone knows how to fix this problem that would be great or to stop all this international stuff going on in my home that would be wonderful. I try to buy brand new pcs but soon as I start them up something had already taken over. This is with nothing electronic in my home on. Turn everything that a power switch off or unplugged it. Still I lost rights and access to anything in my home. Now if I am away from my home and try to use one of my laptops they look completely different and almost usable. Unfortunately I can't afford to move. I thought about it but I am still in bankruptcy and don't have the money. In the last 4 years I have not been able to reinstall in backups that I have created. Not sure why oh wait it states I have no rights to do that. My macbook I lost access to a week after I bought it and connected my iphone too. You don't know how many times I wish I had never backed my iphone 4s to my Macbook. Right after I could not log into it. Even used the disk to reset the password nope still couldn't log into it. Try to type the formula for resetting the password and nope it didn't work either.
Any suggestions would be appreciated---Need to gain access to my apple Id that would be a great start

I have this issue regarding certificate chains while performing Outlook Anywhere connectivity test
by Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer:
"ExRCA can only validate the certificate chain using the Root Certificate Update functionality from Windows Update. Your certificate may not be trusted on Windows if the "Update Root Certificates" feature isn't enabled."
Note: even if I got the error, Outlook Anywhere and
ActiveSync services work fine.
Environment:
- Exchange 2007 with SP3
- Go Daddy Multiple Domains UCC certificate (up to 5 Subject Alternative Names)

Can I safely ignore this warning about the SSL cert? Using GoDaddy UCC cert but it is a little bit different by this case.
So after an investigation I understand the issue above is related to SSL certificate

Strange I have a feeling the exrca tool can't validate the godaddy class2 root authority due some older compability and wants to use the older original root authority valicert owned godaddy. Or when the exrca tool is validating the root CA it only has the
goaddy class2 root ca that was issued by valicert and not the standalone cert when doing the comparision. I sent the question to MS and will let you know when I hear back.

Then import it into the trusted root cert authority on your CAS boxes. Then you need to delete the other godaddy class2 root authority. Make sure you see the one you imported both will be named goaddy class2 root authority but one will be issued by valicert.
Re-run the test and it will go away, I also saw the error with my domain as well using godaddy and got rid of it by using the new cert authority.
