After using Flash, I can't type in Konqueror

I finally got flash working after it was only playing video with no sound, but the problem described in the title has not gone away. Basically, I will watch a youtube video, and at some point during the video, I wont be able to type anything in konqueror. I can type in a different window of konqueror, just not the window that had the flash playing in it. I can reproduce this about 50% of the time. I wish I could give more details. Any one else experiencing this?
Edit: Switched to firefox and opera, so this is is less of an issue. However if someone else is experiencing this problem I can try to work it out if someone helps.

I have the problem sometimes of exiting a page with flash playing, and the flash process still continuing to run causing all sorts of lag. I've never found the root cause of the issue, except to just kill the process manually when it happens. Next time it happens try running 'ps ax | grep libflashplayer.so' to print a list of all processes with flash running. You could also use something like top or htop to see an interactive process list to better pick out which particular process is causing the input lock.

Black screen after using flash player 3 or 4 times

Hi!
I've had this problem for a long time: After having played three or four videos using flash player for example, my screen turns completely black and I have to force a shut down of my PC. With how much flash is still used in browsers, this is extremely annoying and a waste of my time.
If anyone could help me, I'd be glad!

I updated my flash player and my graphic driver and the problem still occurs. I also turned of the hardware acceleration as stated in the following article: Video playback issues but it remains the same.
I registered this as a bug: Bug#3863932 - Video playback issues but I am uncertain whether this will actually be solved sooner there or here on the forums... So I've decided to try both.
Please help!

Yeah, that was always the problem: Hardly anyone CAN reproduce it. I've checked my hardware and drivers though and I've re-installed windows completely just because of this bug, thinking it might be some virus or sth, but nothing like that helped.
And so far, I couldn't find any steps to reproduce, or anyone who also has this problem.
I had my brother, who has a masters degree in computer sciences, try it out and he didn't know any solution or any reason either. :I You can just tell me if this is hopeless, I won't be mad, but really, a video would just show you exactly what I told you.
There's nothing else to it. No mysterious thing I'm doing wrong. I wish it was something like that, honest
Also, it doesn't happen with specific youtube videos. I tried mixing up the order of the videos and it happened again, after starting the 3rd or 4th video (also happens when facebook had this automatically-starting-videos-thing, which was especially fun, as you can imagine, so it's not website-specific either, sadly)..

Maybe I'm missing something, but JLists are made from arrays, vectors, or objects with a constructor or by adding those items to an already created JList. I've not seen where you can type directly into the list, unless programatically implemented.

After using system restore, can't reinstall firefox

I 'think' the problem was with Roboform. Using Firefox 7.0.2 my Roboform fill forms wasn't working properly after updating to a newer version so decided to roll back 24 hours using windows vista system restore. No luck. So thought that I could reinstall Firefox. Download went fine...when I ran the program, I got the following zev[zqz] flashing real fast with the crash screen saying Firefox has crashed send in a report and we'll get back to ya. Uninstalled..tried again. Same thing. Uninstalled EVERYTHING except personal data...Same thing. So installed IE 9 so at least I could come here and post...miss Firefox!!

FF always goes back to top of page after using back button. can i disable this?

is there a way to disable FFox going to the top of the site after i use the back button?
If i am on a site and i click on a link then i use the back button, it always goes to the top of the screen or site, then i have to scroll all the way down again every time.

I also have had the same problem for months now. The updates do not fix the problem. Is there anyone out there with an answer?
Sometimes out of the blue I will click somewhere on the itunes store screen and it will stop doing it but, I can't repeat it the next time I open Itunes. It always just wants to stay scrolled all the way to the top on every itunes store page.

After Using Migration Assistant Can't Log On With That User Account

I used Migration Assistant to move only my Settings and Users from my Power PC (User name RLE 5) to my Mac Pro. Because of what I have read in these forums I did not migrate applications or and files/folders. I will do that manually. After migrating I tried logging in to my user account RLE 5 on my Mac Pro, but it is telling me I am using the wrong password. I used the same password I used on my Power PC, but with no luck. On my Mac Pro I went into System Preferences>Accounts>RLE 5 account and changed the password. I then rebooted and tried again. No luck.
Can somebody help me with this problem?

Hi jenaS, sorry to hear that you're havig an issue after refresh of the system, if ur logged in using a live account it shouldnt change or remove the pin, if you are usin a local account the issue there might be in the profile on the system it might be corrupted, do you have a screen shot of the issue?

Windows don't close after using flash

When viewing certain flash videos I am unable to close down firefox or any of its windows. When trying to save an image and pressing the save button it doesn't save it or close the browse window that is open.
Same when trying to clear the cache the window doesn't close and the files are not deleted. The only way I have found to close firefox is through ending its process in Task manager.

I grasp you are trying to recover your notebook back to factory.
Following the steps in the first link at Step 6 it states after reinstalling the drive to boot to a Windows CD and do a repair. Did you do that step?

After using as modem, can no longer send/receive email. Any ideas why?

My IT department recently upgraded the service to include use of Blackberry as a modem. That works fine...the problem is each time I connect to the computer, it somehow wipes out my setting on the once I unplug, I'm on an Enterprise Server so each time this occurs, my IT folks have to reset my password.
Sprint had me erase the "Service Books" on the phone and then gave me a new one but that did not work.

there was 2 options at the bottom of the box. one was to "continue" without fixing the exception,
which I took. I don't remember option 2. I think I found the missing file under Desk Top icon "Old
Firefox Data". The name of the file is - c:\documents and settings\bob\application data\mozilla\
firefox\profiles\3bn5nbjy.default\prefs.js
When I log on the Firefox home page comes up, I go to browser and click on AOL and the little
grey rotating circle (counter clockwise) keeps going forever. never turns green.

Sounds that Firefox has been reset and a new profile got created and something went wrong with finishing the process.

When Firefox is reset then a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, form data) is automatically imported and the current profile folder will be moved to the desktop to an "Old Firefox Data" folder.
Installed extensions and other customizations (toolbars, prefs) that you have made are lost and need to be redone.
It is possible to recover more data from the old profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem

How can i change back to os after using bootcamp

Hi, Im the proud owner of a early 2008 mac, I installed windows 7 on my mac using bootcamp. I wanted to clean up my mac by resetting it, there was nothing I really wanted to keep so thats why I wanted to reset. I went to the setting screen you know the one if you can choose when your starting the mac. I had 2 disks one with os x one with windows after using bootcamp you can seperate your disk in 2 new ones. But after I deleted the one with os x, I was ready to re install os x mountain lion. It seemed to work but after restarting my mac, I couldnt change to os x anymore. And cant remember my password for windows and cant even get a new password (Im supposed to have a password disk for windows or something like that?) So Im really stuck here.

Try rebooting with the Option key depressed and see if this brings up the bootable devices which includes OS X which you can then select to boot from.

Is you mail app crashing when using the trash can delete??

Is anyone having a problem with mail app. crashing after using the trash can delete. I am no longer using the trash can so I have not had another mail crash. Swipe and delete and edit and delete work ok. Only the trash can delete causes the problem.

Alberta....I first tried the reset, which didn't work, so I had to do a full restore. Which helped has corrected the problem. I just can use the trash can delete.

How to get audio to play on Ipad using flash cc html5 canvas

I'm using flash cc html5 project type. I built my project and tested on desktop and it works fine. Once test on ipad it does not play the audio. It works on android devices but not my ipad 4. I'm using Mp3 files in my flash project.
I tried the safari & Chrome on my Ipad neither played the audio in my file.
