After WCS v4.1.91.0 upgrade: Strange SYSLOG message
Hi
After upgrading WCS to v 4.1.91.0 and Controller 4400 to v.1.185 I get these SYSLOG message:
Emergency <DATE> 1x_ptsm.c:419 DOT1X-1-MAXEAP_RETRANS_FOR_MOBILE: MAX EAP retransmissions reached for mobile <MAC>
Critical <DATE> iapp_socket_task.c:580 IAPP-3-MSGTAG015: iappSocketTask: iappRecvPkt returned error
Can?t find any info on cisco.com or any release notes. Anybody know what it means and what I can/should do?

Actually, Maximum EAP Retransmissions message indicates that EAPOL key retransmission to client has failed. Increase the no of error count for failure. But to further trace down the issue, we need a complete syslog output to which this MAX EAP retransmission message is associated with.
Check whether AAA server is UP and running(if external RADIUS server is used). What EAP authentication type you are using?. Let me know these details.

Hi...I have this problem, everytime I want to print something out the mac asks me for the computer password...that is really becoming annoying after. That happened since I upgraded to mountain lion. How can I stop the computer from asking me that?
If you are printing via a Windows shared printer and it is the Windows user account that you are being prompted for then you can save this in the Keychain, as shown below.

We have Noticed after our R12.1.1 and upgrade to 12.1.3 Federal is showing up and we did not select it on the installation choices any ideas?

You can but you will need to consider additional steps for this module -- Please see "Even if the customer has no longer purchased a license to use the product .." line in the doc referenced in my previous reply.
How would or Why would it be showing up as installed?
It must have been selected when the installation was done.

After installation of R12.1.1, upgraded with 12.1.3 patches then accessing the login page after entering the userid and password I am getting FRM-92101 error "There was a failure in the form server, please check your configuration".
I am unable to open a form in the application. My environment is:
OS = Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.5 (64-bit)
Application = R12.1.3 (VIS)
Client = Laptop having Windows 7 and IE 8, and have already disabled XSS filter.
But still not success, Kindly help so that I can start my training on this server.

After time capsule 7.6 Firmware upgrade I can't set up Access Control / Timed Access using mac adresses.
I have a Time Capsule and an Airport express and when I change access control parameters on whatever one of those
two devices through Airport Utility its duplicating the same setup on the other device !
What a mess !
I had to choose "Not Enabled" in the Access Control stup window.
Has anyone experienced same problem ?

Here are troubleshooting steps that should help you fix the problem.
1) Quit App Store in multi-tasking.
2) Tap Settings.
3) Tap Safari.
4) Tap Clear History.
5) Tap the Clear History button.
6) Tap Clear Cookies and Data.
7) Tap the Clear Cookies and Data button.
Try purchasing an app again from the device to get the security question prompt. You really need to set up the security question.

My ipod touch 4th generation isnt charging with my cable.
When i use my dad´s cable, it charges.
But, however, after it´s fully charged (which takes strangely only a minute), i use it for five seconds and then it goes off.

I am stuck in the boot flash droid screen after a server initiated OTA ICS upgrade. I have an email from Verizonwireless confirming that the ICS upgrade is complete. But I am not able to use the phone. Any I help appreciated getting back to my phone working. I am not much care about ICS or GB. I am paying over 100 each month and any down time over 2 days is unacceptable.
In the forum I see lot of people had a problem and since Vierzonwireless or Motorolla has not publicly accepted this as a issue. Also the server push upgrade was poorly timed, I was away from my home town on a road trip over the mountains and valley where the 4G network is spotty and the phone battery was draining often while using the GPS navigation.
Thanks for the forum and appreciate any help to get back to working..Sorry the update came at such an inconvenient time Beachcrafter. I hope you were still able to have a good roadtrip. It sounds like the signal flux in the mountains along with a lower battery may have contributed to the update bringing up the boot flash screen you mentioned. The option ejf74 mentioned about how to go into the recovery screen is a great way to restart the Droid. I would recommend starting with the reboot option though. If needed, the wipe data/factory reset option would be able to bring your phone back to how it came out of the box. The wipe data/factory reset option will erase everything on your device memory. You'll get to keep the ICS upgrade that was completed, but you'll need to log back into Gmail and all your other services and apps to start using your device again.

Trying to update my Itunes software, now it does not want to work at all, givin strange error messages.
First, when trying to sync ipod touch to Itunes, nothing happened. After that, Itunes suggested downloading and installing updates but now updates will not finish installation correctly and launch error messages. Any ideas?
TKS !These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? Are they also 800736B3s, or a different error code? If they're different, what codes are you getting in Windows Update? -

I have now tried a billion things: None of them work. I still get the same error message, when I try to launch iTunes after logging into my user profile. However, I can launch iTunes 6.0.1 if I create another userprofile on my computer and log into that. But that isn't very helpful. I have also tried removing iTunes 6.0.1 and installing iTunes 4.7 instead. I can actually launch that. However, I cannot connect to the iTunes music store using iTunes 4.7 nor can I play any of the music purchased from the iTunes music store. What am I to do, except curse Apple for creating a version of iTunes that many people seem to have problems with?

cannot restore aback up from my computer after a softwared update. i kep getting an error message saying the phoneis disconnected even though it it not.
If you're not a developer then you really should not have upgraded.
I'm unsure how you can fix this as you have already done a back-up on iOS 7 and apple don't support firmware downgrades. -
After the latest update to office and safari, I have been getting a strange login message. It's a drop-down box that says:
To view this page, you must log in to this area... and then states an area. The latest one says:
"To view this page, you must log in to this area on view.atdmt.com:80:

Then there is a place to login, and has a box to save the information in my keychain. Anytime I try to put in any kind of login information, it tells me my password was incorrect. Safari also did this to me and right after the update. For a while it did this every time I went to facebook and it wouldn't let me log in. So I shut everything down and restarted and haven't had as much trouble with safari. I can't seem to find any way to get rid of this and it seems to happen randomly. I've seen other forums about this, but not for entourage which is where I am having the most trouble. Thanks in advance for your input!Yellowelephant
This is what I did in Safari.
Click on Safari and select Preferences
Choose the Security option
Select Allow Plug-ins, then click on Manage Website Settings
Click on the Java item, select an option (Ask, Allow or Allow Always) from the pulldown list When visiting other websites
Click Done, then close the Safari Preferences window
