After years of troublefree syncing, I am getting error 124 when try to sync my Ipod.  Please help me to resolve this issue.

Have you tried a different cable? Are you connecting using a USB hub?

If possible, connect your device using a different Apple 30-pin to USB cable or Apple Lightning Connector to USB cable.7. Disconnect other USB peripherals from your computer, with the exception of your keyboard and mouse. After disconnecting these peripherals, restart your computer, connect your device, and open iTunes.8. Connect your device to a different USB port on your computer.9. Use the Task Manager to stop some Apple Services:
    Launch the Task Manager:
    For Windows XP: Press Control + alt + delete on the keyboard.
    For Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8: Press Control + alt + delete on the keyboard. Then click "Start Task Manager". If Windows needs your permission to continue, click "Continue".
    Click the Processes tab of the Task Manager. End each of these three processes by clicking in their names and choosing "End Process":

    Restart your computer and the iPhone. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo. It is safe to do, there should be no content loss. It is the same as rebooting your computer.

    If the file was not originally from iTunes, you'll need to redownload it from it's original source or rerip it from the CD.  Files can sometimes go bad and become corrupted.  As to how or why that happens, there are a number of ways.
    What format are the problematic tracks in? Have you tried converting them to another format in iTunes?

    Since your song files on the computer are accessible by iTunes, I think the problem is iTunes not seeing the "required folder" on the iPod.  As a test, try shutting down (powering off) the computer and disconnecting all USB devices (including any hubs).  You can leave standard keyboard/mouse connected, if used.  If the computer is a laptop, connect its power adapter so that it's not running on battery power.  Do a Reset on the iPod
    Reset your iPod - Apple Support
    Start up computer, run iTunes, and connect iPod to a direct USB port by itself.  Try doing a sync.  Any difference?

    Hello, I'm running Win XP Pro SP3 on a Lenovo T42, which was running fine.  When I boot now, only 25 services start up, and I cant get to Internet or run some key apps. When I use Services.MSC to show the services, many Automatic services are not running.
    When I try to start Network Connections, for example, I get Error 1068, 'The dependency service or group failed to start.'
    When I try to run System Restore from MSConfig, I get 'System Restore is Not Able to Protect Your Computer'.
    I've tried various configurations under MSConfig?General and the results are the same.
    Any ideas are appreciated.  Thanks....BT

  • Get error 66, when try to make labview program communicate with arduino uno+ wifi shield.

    I have a sever VI, keep sending data use TCP VIs. The client side is my arduino board (uno+ wifi shield), which can receive data wirelessly. I run both, they can successfully communicate once. At the 2nd time, the sever VI will close itself, because TCP write VI gets error 66. In VI server, I have allowed access of localhost, and IP address of my arduino.

    Actually, they can communicate not only once, sometimes the VI can pass data several rounds, but suddenly the error 66 appears in TCP write, the loop will stop. And if I rerun the program, things happens again. can anybody tell me why the error come out? Thanks

    I seemed to have figured it out...... I hard reset my Iphone and rebooted my computer and it seemed to work. It also seemed there was a music file that was not being recognized, I just erased it and everything worked fine after that.... very strange but I am so glad I figured it out.....

    Hey everyone, I am new to iPhone and my mom has one and told me to add all my music and applications in iTunes first then sync everything to my phone. The applications were added to my phone without a problem but about half of my music wasnt synced. About half way thru the music it gave me an error message that said it had encountered an error and could not continue (-53) I dont know what might be going on.     disable your antivirus and or anti trojan and restart itunes and try again... if that fails disable firewall and try again.
    dont forget to re-enable them after the sync(s)
    (on windows firewall doesn't seem to be causing issues but worth a try since on macs little snitch is blocking something)
