After years of use a trusted website gives me problems
In Safari and Chrome, I can log into a trusted site but when I click on any item, I am automatically logged out. In Firefox, I have a little better luck but I eventually get messages about cookies not being accepted and being timed out. Using Firefox, I was able to send a message to address Technical Problems to a section within the main site but I haven't received a reponse yet. I see no evidence of site problems mentioned on the internet (http://sitedown.co/, for instance). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much.
All I can suggest is have someone else you trust visit the site and in the meanwhile run through the Steps to see if it's a problem with just your machine.
10.6 users shouldn't use Safari as it not getting updates (no Safari 6) also Chrome has been causing issues here lately.
Instructions how to uninstall it and it's root level auto updater in the link above.
Firefox is fine.

I am having computer problems, so i plan to do a system restore and hope that all returns OK to an earlier good version. That's fine, but you still need the recovery discs for possible use when, for instance, you need to restore to a new hard disk.
The answer is Yes you can. For instructions, see the section Creating recovery media, which begins on p. 65 of the User's Guide.

There is a separate application called Contacts in the Applications folder. You will also find Calendar there. They are also in the Dock.

If not, you need to get the information from the blackberry to the

In the past, when I want to refresh a page, I've simply gone to the page reload icon on the toolbar. On the new version, I can't fin the reload icon. Sorry I know this is a very stupid question,, but I just can't find that reload icon. The toolbar is a lot different from previous versions, but I'm sure tht pesky icon must be there somewhere!!

You could also benefit from the looking at the article on [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-customize-toolbars customizing the tool bar]. That will show you not only how to verify that you have the refresh button, but give you options on where it lives as well.

no problems with anything elseClearly that should not happen, and it is probably unusual you get a BSOD instead of a firefox crash. Are you using a firefox 64 bit experimental version rather than the standard 32 bit version of firefox ?
It is probably worth doing a full security scan of your system with multiple tools / software:

If you resort to doing a re-install of firefox note NOT to use any option that removes personal settings, however that is worded, because you would be likely to then loose passwords and bookmarks etc from all normally installed versions of firefox. -

I'm using a WIFI connection and have had no problem for many months. All of a sudden, I get "Problem loading page"; "Firefox cannot establish a connection with the server". MS Internet Explorer works fine.
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

malware/spyware removal, searched for backdoor.urlbot.c, etc. now today a pop-up firefox.exe - system error says "the maximum number of secrets that may be stored in a single system has been exceeded. the length & number of secrets is limited to satisfy the US dept export restrictions. Really? Just curious that this pop up window isn't a spoof. Since this spate of crashing just started could I be infected despite TrendMicro security, Malwarebytes & SuperAntiSpyware being used?
I can tell you that this is some of the absolutely worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I found out from a store employee that when they are really busy with calls, they have third party companies taking overflow calls. One of those companies is Xerox. What can a Xerox call center rep possibly be able to authorize on a Verizon account? I'm Sure there is a ton of misinformation out there due to this. They don't note the accounts properly or so everyone can see them. I have been transferred before and have asked if they work for Verizon or a third party also and was refused an answer so, apparently they aren't required to disclose that information. I spent a long time in the store on my last visit and it's not just customers that get the runaround. It happens to the store employees as well and it's beyond frustrating.

CS4 Serial Number coming up invalid after years of use
I purchased the CS4 Master Collection some time ago, I know it is really out dated, but it works for me , now I am being prompted to enter my serial number when opening the programs (which worked yesterday???). When I put in my PAID for number I'm getting a red 'X' instead of a green check mark. How can I resolve this? The suite has been on my new PC for over 2 years with no problems until now.
Yeah, I did last night, but all they could tell me is the serial number is invalid and provide proof of purchase. Unfortunately, I bought CS4 probably 5 years ago and finding a receipt is a slim chance. They won't help until then.

I had about 80 songs on my ipod and it worked fine until one day i purchased some new music from itunes and discovered that it wouldn't sync. I tried various things and finally wiped the ipod clean thinking it would sync then. It doesn't and now I have no music on it. When I check for devices, the sync option is grayed out on itunes. I even tried it from another computer but it won't sync with that either.
