Again...NOKIA C3 COMMUNITIES NOT OPENING!

I'm starting a new thread because the last one looks was lost between a lot of people thinking they had the "same" problem and others giving advice.
I'm NOT having connection problems (no problem with GPRS, or WIFI or WLAN etc.) I owned this phone for almost a year and never had problems before....until, I decided to upgrade the software today.
Now, the communites app it's not working....DO NOT OPEN!!! that means, that always shows the "charging communities" screen, and nothing else happen!
Everything else looks like it's working great....but I really wants my community back....
Any clues on what can be happened to my phone? how can restore the old version of SOFTWARE? (btw...already restored the data, and nothing happened)
Any help would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

the communities option in my menu has been automatically deleted..n settings of the phone also hv been altered..i love this phone..but these recent changes are very annoying..moreover..my phone is jus 7 months old...

I have tried everything that has been suggested and even deleted and downloaded Firefox again and it will not open. Any ideas on how to get it to open?

Nokia x6 quickoffice not opening xls sheet

hello all this is my first post
i really need a solution for my quickoffice(which is preinstalled) as it is not opening the xls sheet created in ms office 2007(please dont advice to use ms office 2003)
earlier in my nokia 5800 i downloaded the quickoffice version 6.2(document viewer) and it worked fine so i tried to do the same with my x6 but it says "update error" whenever i try to install an updated version
i cant understand why such a new phone in the market cant open xls sheet and with such an old version of quickoffice(4.2)

hi friend I m also unlucky to buy x6 that has problem with Quick Office . If i try to view Pdf file it asks to install Adobe Reader and Quick Office manager tries to create catalogue and fails to stablish connection with Quick office server . Nokia team should come up to clarify all this . Quick office 4 . in X 6 is pre installed . Any one who knows all this can reply to this post . Thanks in advance if your advice helps me

hi mate, have you checked that you are up to date with the latest firmware for the device ? also try re-installing the latest firmware via Nokia Suite on PC, and if that doesn't work either, then Restoring the phone to factory settings.

Nokia 5530 will not open web page

Hi everyone,
I have a Nokia 5530 since christmas with latest firmware update. My problem is that when i click into the Internet, the screen just flashes and automatically closes. I tried it with connecting to Ovi Store and the same thing happens. I am using my wireless modem to connect to the Internet and it has never once given me a problem, just today it started acting up. Another detail is when i use other applications such as Software Update or using Ovi maps, it will download easily, but just wont open web pages even though it is connected,

It's oke. In Facebook options set your accesspoint to always ask before connecting aswell as other apps like your browser, etc..... Change packet-data settings from when available to when needed.

After downloading iTunes again, it still did not open

Often times I re-load an app. when it feels wrong; however, the new iTunes acts the same as current (same version). It refuses to ignite (lol).
Is this because I have an '08 24" intel iMac?

I have, along w/ my pal Lyn, have found how 11.2.1 still freezes right sfter starting. That stopage appear coagulated from many different issues out there.
I wonder if it stems from a simple problem: Lyn mentioned Java adherence could be lessened by older versions still on the OS.

Firefox will not open and my profile name changes, after I creat a new profile it works until I try to open again

Firefox version 16.0.2 was working I have used FF for years. A few days ago it started to run very slow opening web sites. Then this morning when I tried to open it I saw a progress bar that looked like the kind I see after an update has been applied but FF never opened.
I rebooted my windows 7 64 bit and tried again, nothing FF would not open and I got no error message.
So I opened the profile manager and only found a default profile not the one I created last year with my name. I created a new profile and browsed to my old profile folder. FF opened and ran fine until I closed it and later tried to open it again then I kept getting an error box telling me that FF had crashed and asked if I wanted to send a report and restart, I did but no good it still would not open.
I ran the profile manager again and found my profile had changed name to a bunch of numbers. I delete that profile but kept the folder then made a new one and that worked. I shut it down again and once again I get the We're sorry error box.
By the way I had set the profile manager to open when FF loads and it is not opening so the problem is before it gets to that command.

First I already have my view set to show everything so that is not the problem.
But I just tried opening "Computer" from the start button then type in profiles.ini in the address bar and hit enter. The profile manager opened with my profile listed. I selected it and hit start firefox and it opened as it should.
I closed it again and tried to open it from the shortcut in my task bar and I got the Sorry window.
But then I tried to open it from the short cut you get when you press the start button and program list and it work!
I went back to my desk top and tried the short cut on the desk top and it worked.
So I deleted the short cut on the task bar and created a new one and it worked.
I rebooted the computer and tried again and the task bar shortcut works and has the right profile.
So it seems that the problem is that the short cut was corrupted and was causing the error that caused the program to fail to open.
I had no idea a shortcut could do that. In the past I have had short cut stop working but never do what this one did.
I still have no idea where the profiles.ini is.

Nokia c2 02 -- apps not opening-- urgent

I updated my nokia c2 02 firmware to 7.29 before 2days. Today while using nokia browser it said a new nokia browser is available to download. I downloaded after the download was complete it said "invalid application" and now nokia browser does not open if i click on it nothing happens.
--> I tried restore but nothing happened .

Dear Thetekwar, Sorry you are experiencing this problem.
Where did you download this update to the web browser? was this using the official software updater?
Please plug your device in via USB to Nokia Suite and reinstall the phone software, remember to take a back up just to be safe too.
Hopefully the hard reset will solve your issues with the browser, If it still is not working, please refer to your local Nokia Care point where they can repair the device.

I have downloaded Firefox but it will not open. I have tried several times to install and then uninstall, but it still does not work.

We used to use Firefox..but for whatever reason it stopped opening. We uninstalled it and we found that the old version of Firefox would open but it would straight away update to the new version and then the problems would begin again and it would not open.

Can not open database - 10g

Please see the alert log file ..file size is already few GBs now. There are errors in the file.

ITunes store will not open

Hi
I have just downloaded the latest version of iTunes (10.4?)
Windows Vista operating on HP pavillion with Avast anti virus.
Since then, I can not get the store to open. It starts of by accessing iTunes store with the stripey bar at the top, it then turns solid grey but only goes half way across before reverting back to the apple logo. The stores main page remains blank, apart from saying 'iTunes store'
I have tried removing iTunes and re-installing it in the following way
itunes
Quick Time
Apple software update
Bonjour
Apple application support
But this has not worked.
I have disabled my anti virus and firewall, but again, the store would not open.
In the diagnostic it shows I am not an administrator, although I am the only account so not sure why that is the case.

Sad news!
It worked for one day - sort of, but now its gone again.
I did the above and I was able to buy some songs, but I then had only 90p left from a gift card, and it asked for my card details. No matter how many times I entered them, and I even tried other cards, it just kept saying authorisation declined - there is money there though.
Also, I could not click on any 'picture links', I had to type in names of songs etc, which I could live with.
Today, just been on and again no iTunes.
I really do wish apple would just work on giving decent products first time, without the need for updates to repair or resolve issues. I would contact them, but I know they are of no help whatsoever.
Any suggestions please?!

ITunes will not open in Windows 7 64 bit

I've uninstalled and installed 3 times now and still can't get it to open. I've visited, and tried, everything Google brings up, nothing.
Can someone out there please help me??
I'm thinking I had this issue once before and needed to delete, then cut & paste another file into one of the iTunes file extensions. Does this ring a bell??

I am also having a problem with Itunes 64bit in Windows 7. It was working fine until a few days ago and now it will not open. When it does, it becomes unresponsive. I have tried the above, no luck. I tried repairing it, nothing. I have uninstalled an reinstalled-again it either does not open or it immediately becomes unresponsive. I have checked for malware with Malwarebyes, nothing was found. i think there is probably a problem with one of my settings or perhaps a file is missing/corrupted-but I don't know how to check. It will not open in safemode.
