Agenda now buried in menu? Option to swap Agenda and Day buttons so that Day is buried instead?

I use the agenda view on my Z10 all the time... who wants to see hours in a day that don't have anything scheduled?
With the latest OS upgrade, the agenda view is now buried in the menu instead of being available on initial calendar screen. This is a pain in the **bleep** considering calendar is in my top two apps!
I would LOVE to see the Day view buried in the menu instead and bring the Agenda view back out on the main menu... or at least provide an option to swap them.

There are several ways to help you for the moment: you can create adjustment layers from the layers menu, the yin-yang like icon is the add adjustment layer icon.
In CS6, there is now an add adjustment layer panel, that lets you create an adjustment layer in one click, similar to the behavior the former adjustment panel of CS5 (the properties panel can't do that, as it might be showing you a layer mask, for instance).
Finally, many users do remap the keyboard shortcuts from the destructive adjustments to their adjustment layers counterparts, in the keyboard shortcuts sub-menu from the Edit menu.
That said, your suggestion makes sense, and I could imagine a preference that would put the destructive adjustments in a sub menu, and promote the adjustment layers, for the menu users. It would need to be carefully done, as to not break actions. You should post it on http://feedback.photoshop.com

Itunes has not changed in Lion in this regard, you can still go to fullscreen from the menu, and use your input device to make the video window larger and smaller. does that help?

If your phone is turned off or not connected to the Internet, you will be unable to locate it. Last known location is only stored for 24 hours.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List

Swapping Send and Smiley Buttons

A problem that I came across with while using my BB Q10 device is hitting a send button instead of hitting a lower right corner in order to edit a message I am currently working at. It wouldn't be a problem if it happened just once, but it happens quite frequently and it is definitely not very handy when an incomplete or false message gets sent to someone.
Googling a little bit revealed that there are also other people complaining about the same issue on a CrackBerry forum, but I was not able to find anything of this kind here. Therefore, my suggestion would be to swap send and smiley buttons. It would lead to an outcome that in the worst case scenario hitting of a lower right corner will result in opening a smiley menu and not sending of an unfinished message.
I hope that there is a fair chance that BlackBerry developers take it into consideration and implement a respective swap of buttons in one of the upcoming updates. I do not think it should be a big deal to do so, but it would definitely improve the messaging experience and hopefully not only for myself.

What I did:
1.- Went to preferences in itunes/ Devices --> erased the corrupted backup (there were two backups)
2.- Upgraded to iOS 5.0.1
Done!
PS: Maybe upgrading solves the problem without erasing the corrupted backup

My MacBook Pro is an Mid-2012 build and also with OS X 10.8.4. I used to have a menu bar that was transparent like all normal macs, so I just wanted a change so I used an obsidien colored menu bar called "Obsidian Menu Bar" I didn't really like it so I used an another package in the dmg file called the "restore OS X Menu bar" so I installed it but it just gave me a gray menu bar, and ALSO my bluetooth button on my menu bar went invisible, when I clicked the place where the menu bar was suppposed to be, it worked but it was still invisible.
So is there any wasy to change my menu bar to transparent again and also make my bluetooth button apear again. Also I didn't use time Machine.
I can't re-install OS X Becasue I don't have hard drive big enough for my mac to backup.

Shut down the computer immediately and don't turn it on again until you have at least one, and preferably more than one, external hard drive large enough to back up all your data. Then back up with Time Machine.

What does "javascript:void(0);" mean; iget it when i click on a menu option to do something and nothing gets done?

I'm not even sure this is a Firefox issue; on Epicurious.com there is an option to add a recipe to your recipe box. I've used it many times and it always worked, but since I upgraded to the newest Firefox I click on that link and the window at the bottom of the screen says "javascript:void(0); - and nothing happens. I'm using Windows XP pro.

javascript:void(0); in a link is usually a placeholder for an onclick action that is done by clicking the link.<br />
It is possible that the onclick JavaScript isn't compatible with Firefox 5 and needs updating.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Tried to backup ibooks to PC using iTools, now iTunes will not open the backup folder and my iPad says that it's storage is almost full

It appears that iTools has backed up on the iPad as well, I tried manage storage from settings but all storage settings are not enabled. I downloaded iTools on my PC and pressed the backup on iBooks in applications, it created a folder on my PC that iTunes on the PC cannot read. I stopped what was called backing up to local when I got a message from the iPad saying that storage was almost full.
So how do I 1- repair the iPad storage
2- backup the books in IBooks to my PC (they used to backup easily with iTunes but after the last update of iTunes they just would not)

Restart your PC. after the PC restarts, bring up your Task manager, and go to the "Processes" tab. Click "Image name" to sort the processes alphabetically.
Now try to launch iTunes.
Does an itunes.exe process appear? If so, does it vanish after a second or so, or does it persist in the Processes tab (even though iTunes itself never shows up)?

The SIM has nothing to do with that. She used your Apple ID to buy apps/music, thus your contacts that were synched with iCloud got replicated on her phone. Any changes she made got reeplicated on her phone. There is no way to recover the deleted contacts unless you backed up your phone.
Your daughter needs to get her own Apple ID.

I had my iphone connected to computer and was downloading updates. an error ocured now the phone diplay only shows the apple and the little cirkel that tells you it is busy. error number is 0x8000065. i can't put it off. reacts to nothing anymore, ???

Microsoft Office for Mac open recent File menu option causing AFP to crash

We have an Xserve running Mac OS X Server Leopard 10.5.8. The Xserve hosts three file shares for about 60 users. Our network is 99% Mac based running mostly 10.5.8 with a few 10.6.x. We have historically over the past several years had the AFP service become unreliable and crash frequently. Late last week the AFP service crashes constantly. The quick solution to getting it up and running is to delete the AFP.conf file in /etc.
We have troubleshot one cause of AFP crashing to the Open Recent... File menu option in Microsoft Office for Mac applications. That is, through some amount (haven't been able to narrow it down to how much) of opening documents on the share via the Open Recent menu the AFP service will crash.

Our solution is to have all our users turn off the open recent option in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Not an ideal solution but it may get the AFP service running "good enough."
Has anyone had an experience like this before or can anyone duplicate the AFP service crashing when trying to open documents on a share via the open recent menu? Any other ideas?

I have been able to consistently reproduce a problem where the AFP service will crash if a file that a user has an alias to is moved to a folder and the user is denied access to .
1. On your Mac create an alias to a file or folder, that you have access to, that is stored on a share served via AFP. The alias can be in the Places section of a Finder window, on the Desktop, or anywhere an alias can be created. Lets call what the alias points to the target.
2. Move the target to a folder on the AFP share and deny the user or group Read & Write access to that folder.
3. Try accessing the target via the alias created in step 1.
The AFP service should crash.
Can anyone reproduce this crash scenario too?

Menu options not showing up in Color

The menu options, such as save and reconform, are not showing up in Color. They appear grey and I cannot click them. I have clicked out of my clips, what could I be missing? I am relatively new to Color.

Do you have a project open in Color? Did you "Send to" from FCP?

How to add custom menu options in myaccounts module?

Hi experts,
To implement this, I have found myaccount.xml file in UI of myaccounts module. In this file, I found only menu headings but not menu options. Can anyone explain where data of menu options were populated from and how can I add my custom menu options? I also have tried to delete the menu heading but there was no effect. Please help!! I'm on WEC 1.0.

the path to the billing module is "sap.com/wec/ecom/mc/billing". But nevertheless
1. you need only to enhance in your current modul the metadata.xml file with the link to your own myaccount.xml which you can create.
2. and then you can define within the new file the menu options you need.
3. the last step is to update your shop configuration with the new menu options.
