Agent 18 iPod cases

Just to let you know if you are in London the Agent 18 cases that seem so hard to get a hold of are in the Apple Store !
Unfortunately -
1.They are NOT on the upper floor with the other ipod cases
2.The staff on the upper floor will politely tell you they hv no cases for the 60 GB video ipod till end Dec.
Luckily, if you walk down to the ground level floor there are several of them hung on a freestanding display on the ground floor !
Way cheaper than ordering online as I paid £24.95 for my case , online with postage its more (around £33 I think )
Regards.

  • IPod Case and the Hi-Fi

Would the Agent 18 clear case for the 60Gb 5G iPod fit the Hi-Fi dock w/o removing the Ipod from the case? I'm using a 60GB 4G iPod in an Incase neoprene case, and it fits in the Hi-Fi dock. The 4G iPod in the neoprene case is heavy enough to support itself onto the dock. I have to note that I don't use one of those plastic Hi-Fi dock plates.
It would be just cumbersome to remove the iPod from its case everytime I need to plug it on the Hi-Fi.
    Thanks.
    Ron

it doesn't fit. you have to take it out.

  • IPOD CASES WITH MAGNETS

i have often heard (i still don't know if it's true...) that magnets are very dangerous near your computer or hard drives. i want to purchase an ipod case with a flip cover that contains magnets in it. has anyone had a problem with a case like this or is this sort of thing alright?

case with magnet button or whatever?
you should be fine, never had problems

  • Dropped iPod case repair

My iPod decidet to get out of my pocket(breast pocket!:O) when i was jumping and hit the ground(gravity's fault! :D). It was a hard punch but it's still working. I've also got picture of it: http://img360.imageshack.us/img360/6029/img6793yc5.jpg
Bought it 1 month ago, and it's kind of anoyeing that it looks like that. You know that allkind of dust can get into my iPod from that crack there! :P Also know that warrant won't repair or do anything with it. I was intrested that is it possible to change that metal cover back there? I tryed to phush it to the right place but it won't stay there, where i want to.
A day after drop(today :P) bought new protective case for my iPod.
Actually there were 2 other things i like to mention(maybe it "has to be" like this).
    1.Harddisk makes weird nose(not spinning sound)when i start a vide or songs
    2.I can see backlight gleam where i shouldn't. It's about half cm from screen(it's 1/5" i guess :o))
Well... "things" happen. xD I still like Apple poducts!

To possibly help with your dust problem, because you are right you could definitely get things in there that shouldn't be in there. If you go to like a Target, Radio Shack basically anywhere that sells iPods and iPod equipment buy yourself a nice iPod case. The brand case I have is called "incase" its like a stretchy kinda nylon feeling case with a nice spin wheel cover, that might help keep dust out of it. If you search around there are lots of different kinds of cases out there you could get to put it in. As for replacing the metal cover, I don't know anything about that subject. Your hard drive making a weird noise could be from dropping it. Same with the backlight gleam.

  • Why do some  ipod cases have two holes on the top

Why do some ipod cases have an extra hole next to the camera hole?

The black and white iPhones are the same (except for the color). One hole is your ear speaker. Above it is the proximity sensor. It is not a hole in the glass front but a whole in the underlying material where the proximity sensor is located. You can see this hole with the white material, but it is hard to see with the black material, but it is still there.

  • Ipod case

anyone know of a good ipod case that has good grip?

I am using the DLO PodFolio...its a nice leather case with clip on the back, and it folds over...very satisfied. Its around 35.00 and you can get it at Bestbuy.com or the store. I would definately give it 5 stars!

  • Ipod Case with a magnet?

I recently purchased an ipod case but it has a magnet as a closure. I was just wondering if anyone knew if having a magnet that close to the ipod was bad for the hard drive. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't being paranoid. I wanted to e-mail apple directly but couldn't find an e-mail anywhere. If anyone knows an e-mail I could use to ask them this question, It would be great. Thanks

it really depends on how strong the battery is.
Test it out, the magnet wont cause any physical damage if it's going to do anything the worst it could do is corrupt some data at which point you'll restore your ipod and never use your case again
    Cheers

  • Anyone have an iPod case like this?

I want to know, does anyone have an iPod case similar to the one linked to below?
I'm looking for one for my 5th gen iTouch, and haven't been able to find one in America or on American Amazon (the one I found is on the UK Amazon).
If you have one similar to this, or any other suggestions, please answer. I like the thin, tpu material, and prefferably the case will be clear.
    Thanks to everyone who answers!

btw, dont say things like "google it for yourself" or "look on amazon".
I have looked and not quite found the perfect one yet and I'm looking for anyone's suggestions!

Will this work out for you???
I hate to be too picky but I never have quite liked those hard plastic shells. Tpu is really more of what I am looking for (and for everyone else, I prefer Amazon to eBay, so if you know of one on Amazon, that would be better). Silicone is not an option either.
It does look like a decent case at a fair price, and for trying going on what I described I marked your answer as helpful.

  • Looking for ipod case

When I first bought my iPod I had a normal skin for it but that has scratched it a bit so now I have resorted to not using a cover at all. I am looking for a case (leather if possible) that protects my iPod and looks nice. But I want it to be one that you can easily see the screen. So if you know of any good iPod (30gb) cases then please write back. Thanks.

Personally I use one from XtremeMac but if you Google for "iPod cases uk" you'll find that there are loads of good leather cases out there from UK suppliers. Take care.

  • Recommended Ipod Case?

I am looking for a new iPod case that will protect my screen and the rest of it, and have a clip in the back. Previously, I had an incase leather sleeve case, but I found it to be a little large so that it was not protecting the screen. I am thinking about buying on of those silicone cases...are those any good? I would also prefer it if the case is purchaseable in Canadian stores instead of online or in the US. Thanks for your help.

iSkin EVO2 would be the one I'd recommend. It has everything your looking for.

  • Looking for somewhere to sell Video Ipod cases for WOMEN

    HI ALL !
DO YOU KNOW WHERE CAN I BUY IPOD CASE FOR WOMEN ..FOR ME .. BECAUSE ALL I SEE BLACK COLOR CASES FOR MAN .. THANK YOU

I don't get the male/female distinction frankly. To me it's just a quetion of what your style is, what material you'd prefer and whether you are after a case or a skin and waht you're going to be doing with the iPod - working out, being outside in the rain and so on.
I have just bought a Vaja (vajacases.com) - as a Christmas gift from my parents and I'm really happy to have done so. Don't have it yet, but I'm sure it wont disappoint and at 50 pounds UK for everything incl p & p I don't even think it is that xpensive. Check the site out and you'll see that you can choose from quite a large range of colours.
They're not as cheap as some, but that's the way I went 'cos it fits my needs.

  • A better (less expensive) iPod case?

    Hi all,
I was hoping maybe someone could point me in the direction of an iPod case that is little more than a thin layer of film and only protects from scratches, that is less than $25.
In short, something similar to this, but cheaper:

    quicksilver   Mac OS X (10.4.6)   radeon 9800

I'm very happy with my iPod socks. I've had my iPod for about 5 months now, and it is totally scratch free.

  • Agent 18, Microshield case, Universal Dock

Do the Agent 18 case and the Microshield case fit in the Universal Dock?
Or would I have to take my iPod out of these cases to dock it?
    Thanks and Seasons Greetings!

If it doesn't work, you could always use an adapter for a larger iPod and see if that allows it to fit.
    Merry Christmas

  • Agent 18 Protective Case

I just recently purchased an Agent 18 case to protect my iPod. When I put the case on it was really snug around the iPod so much that you could see blemishes on the screen because the plastic was pushed up against it. Is this too tight for my iPod? I don't want to damage the screen and body in any way, that is why I got the case! Should this be happening? The best way I can describe what is happened is if you ever touched a calculator screen with your finger and press in it results in blemishes on the screen.
Also, what is a nice good clear hard case to protect the ipod?

I had installed the Invisibleshield first and found the same problem when used with the agent 18.
I remove the back portion of the Invisibleshield and all is well.
Don't know if you have shield installed but just a thought
