    Hi,
    Which Workflow is used?
If it is the standard one then rule 20000027 is used for agent determination.

  • How to assign agent assigment in release strategy WS20000075?

I have copied  the standard workflow WS20000075 and then created Workflow template and in trigering events tab of the wf template, I have binded the event RELEASESTEPCREATED.I have also done the SPRO settings for release strategy,i.e,that is I have assigned the users for each release code in table T16FW and mentioned the role resolution in the as 1 in the table T16FC.
The workflow is working fine but I am a bit confused with the agent assigment in the tasks TS20000166 and TS20000168.I have noticed one thing that in the task TS20000166 a default rule 20000027 - Person responsible for PO release, but it does not seem to work. The TS20000168 does not has any default rule for agent.
Can anyone guide me how i can do the agent assignment for this workflow.

There is no requirement for default rules.
Agent for task TS20000168 is assigned in the workflow where it is used.
If the default rule for task TS20000166 does not seem to work you should first of all check all the obvious potential problems, and secondly (if you haven't found out what the problem is) tell us <u>why</u> you have concluded that it does not work.
    Check:
    1) that the task has either been defined as general task or has possible agents assigned
    2) that your customizing for the release code has "1" as workflow configuration and that there is a valid agent assignment for the code - alternatively "9" as config and the user exit is implemented
    3) that there is overlap between agent assignment for the release code and possible agents for the task

  • Deletion of release code from container of workflow

    Hi all,
In t_code SWDD, i had created a container and wrongly assigned a release code to it,,, how to delete the wrongly assinged release code from a container.

Is there a way to reorganize these generated sections? Netbeans seems to have its own plans on how to place these and they don't appear to be moveable.
Idea: in the text editor right clicking on the blue sections could show some important options: (At least on member functions...)
    "move Up"
    "move Down"
    "Delete section"
    "Sort sections alphabetically"

  • RELEASE CODES IN SERVICE RELEASE STRATEGY

    Dear All,
I have created a Service Group and assigned three release codes. But when I am trying to simulate the release in release strategy the release codes are not displayed.
    Where have I gone wrong????.
    Someone please help.
    REgards

Did you maintain the combination of 'release group', 'release strategy' and 'release codes' under 'release strategies? You need to maintain this combination before simulating the release. Also, ensure after entering the said combination verifying 'relase preqreuisites, release statuses, assignment of class and then simulating the release.

  • Release Code 99 High Level Release

    Hi Guru's
I have a question about release codes in config. It seems as if in the config I am looking at, someone has set release code 99 (High Level Release) on several of the levels. Does High Level Release mean that this code can release any/all amounts? If not, what does "High Level Release" mean.
Thanks in advance. Points will be given.
    SW

    HI Steven,
Assingning release code as 99 mean, it is not the highest no of SL no.
Release code means uniquely identfication of a certain User login under one Release Group. Based on this release stragey (Approval procedures) will be set.
It doesnt mean that assigning Rel. code as 99 becomes as a Highest release level.
Actually there are only 8 release levels will be there, in that 8 levels sequence 8 is teh highest level of authorization and 1 is the first level authorization., in that we can assign this Release code 99 either as 1 or 3 or even 8.
if it is solved ur problem pls rewards points.
    Thanks

  • PO release code

    Hi All,
where do we specify the PO release code in MM.
    regards

The release code is a two-character ID allowing a person to release (clear, or approve) a requisition or an external purchasing document. Who may work with which release codes is basically controlled via a system of authorizations (authorization object M_EINK_FRG).
In addition, the assignment of release code to individual processor (processing staff member) is defined according to organizational requirements - that is to say, the various departments specify which users will be working with which release codes.

  • Problem withn Release strategy having Multiple release codes

    Hi
I am working on a Release Strategy which has 2 Release codes say 01 and 02.
The PR document can be released only when 01 and 02 both releases.
But suprisingly, the first code 01 is able to release the 02 code also.
    How to remove this problem.
    Kindly relpy ASAP !!
    Cheers
    MaruthiRam

    Hi,
This can be controlled through authorisation.Ask your Basis team to assign the Release code and release group in authorisation object "M_EINK_FRG" .Here give only the release code applicable to the concerned user only and remove the other release code .
Also please check if you have mantained the release prerequisite in img. That is for release code 02 the release pre requisite must be 01.Check the required boxaccordingly.

  • How to assign a user and position to a release code .

How to assign a user and position to a release code ?
I tried in SU01 but the data is not getting reflected in the table
T16FW. from where the rule (20000026) is picking the user .
is there a transaction to do so ?
    Thanks in advance .

These are done in SPRO. Search for release in SPRO, you will find your answer.

  • Changes in Customizing for agent assignment do not transport well

    Hi,
We have made changes in some tasks regarding agent assignment (we select the option 'General Task' in the Attributes button). This generates a Customizing request.
After releasing these 2 requests (Customizing and Workbench), we transport them from Development to Test. But when checking the new workflow in Test, the Customizing modifications regarding agent assignment do not occur.
We have tried the two possible sequences of transporting the requests: first Customizing and then Workbench, then the other way, with same results.
Is there any specific order that should be followed to correctly transport Customizing and Workbench requests?
    I appreciate your help!
    Regards,
    Ivson

    Thanks a lot,
Our wf doesn´t use organizational structure, but checking the transport logs as you suggested (that´s what I should've done first!), has shown an error of type 12 in the last Customizing requests we have sent.
    The log error's header says
    'Method execution 08.09.2006 16:01:39   (12) Canceled',
    Going to the details,
'Execution of programs after import (XPRA)'
    'Ended with return code:  ===> 12 <==='
There is also one Workbench request with the same type of error.
    All clues are welcome,
    Best regards,
    Ivson

  • CCreate Release Strategy using department name in "Release Code", not User ID SAP.

    hi experts...
i wanna create new release strategy, but in part "choose activities => Workflow => assignment of role to release code"
in field Agent ID usually we fill SAP user ID, but i wanna using department name.
is there anyone can help me
    thanks,

    Hi Raju,
Are you setting release for purchase requisition or purchase order ? If you are setting the release strategy for purchase requisition you need to enter table name as CEBAN  and for purchase order  give  table name as CEKKO.
Enter tcode SE11 and give database table name as CEKKO and choose the appropriate field name for the desired component from here. Do the same with table name CEBAN for pur req.
    Hope this was helpful.

  • Workflow started, no agent assigned

    Hi.
I am working on a treasury workflow (TrLoApprove) to approve the Bp's that will have been created. I have done all the release procedures as required in customisation. But when the workflow is processed it, it is processed in an error state. The error being that there is no agent assigned at the start of the workflow.
    Regards,
    Audrey

    Hi Audrey,
Thsi problem is occuring because the workflow you are trying to execute does not have agents specified.
To set the same go to t-code PFTC. Select 'Workflow Template' and go to Change mode. Go to menu path Additional data -> Agent Assignment -> Maintain -> Attribute -> select 'General Task'
You you do not wish to set as general task then assign a particular set of users who could execute the workflow.
    Hope this helps!

    thank you,

    Hi Basker,
    *EBELN  ERNAM FRGGR
    SELECT EBELN  ERNAM FRGGR
              FROM EKKO "Purchasing Document Header
              INTO TABLE IT_EKKO
              WHERE  "YOUR OWN CONDITION"
    *FRGGR    FRGCO
    SELECT FRGGR FRGCO
FROM T16FW: "Assignment of Role to Release Code
                  INTO TABLE IT_T16FW
                  FOR ALL ENTRIES IN IT_EKKO
                 WHERE  FRGGR = IT_EKKO-FRGGR.
The value of FRGCO is the release code for that user.
    Try it out, or
    You can use the BAPI_PO_RELEASE

  • PO release change in release code

    Hi Gurus,
Earlier a PO was being released by code A1. This employee has left the company so all the release of POs have been held up. So i want to change it & assign it to a different code B2 , please guide.
    Regards,
    Kumar

    Hi,
Try to minimize headache. There may be so many factors/characters involves and you need to study the system 1st and then see the other implications too change or NOT.
    Example:
You may have release groups, release codes and respective values to be released are following
    Release Group A
Release Code: A5u2026 more then 2000K
    Release Code: A4u2026.750K to 2000K
    Release Code: A3u2026.250K to 750K
    Release Code: A2u2026.50K to 250K
    Release Code: A1u2026.0 to 50K
    Release Group B
Release Code: B5u2026 more then 2000K
    Release Code: B4u2026.750K to 2000K
    Release Code: B3u2026.250K to 750K
    Release Code: B2u2026.50K to 250K
    Release Code: B1u2026.0 to 50K
u2026 see example A & B are may be different department. If user get B2 release code instead of A1 ,he can release greater value etcu2026u2026u2026
