Agent Collection disabled by upload manager - how to enable it

Hi
I am using EM grid control agent 10.2.
The upload is disabled in my machine.how to enable it?
and the agent is UP for a few minutes and goes DOWN again.
Can anyone help me on this please?

I'm getting the agent collection disable message too..I have this message in the secure.log file, how are we suppose to enable it?

Collection Status : Disabled by Upload Manager

I am getting this with ... ./emctl status agent
How do I enable the upload manager?

Look for the cause -- its either
there are too many files backlogged
there is not enough freespace on the directory
the size of the files backlogged is too large..
See the emd.properties file to override the defaults that automatically disable collection
(like too many files).
This is done as a safety precaution so that the agent doesnt fill the o/s.

Facetime disabled.... how to enable it?

If Facetime is not on the phone when you get it and it has been disabled to use in Middle Easter Countries where is it banned, then I don't think that you can enable it.
If you are moving to Canada in 6 months time and want a phone with Facetime enabled, then you'll have to buy a new phone when you move to Canada. This might be a better option if you are going to move to Canda and want to use the phone in Canada. You can buy unlocked phones in Canada and the warranty will be valid for Canada too.

The issue is typically seen if the ulimit -n is set to a very low value.
Set ulimit -n 65536
agent_inst/bin> emctl stop agent
agent_inst/bin> emctl start agent
agent_inst/bin> emctl upload

How to enable the "update file" button to update the data template

We have an escalated customer bug that the chinese character does not display correctly on report. We want to update the data template xml file on customer site to test the fix. However, when the customer login using "XML publisher Administrator" responsitility, select function "Data Definitions", search and then update the definition, on the update page, the button "update file" next to "Data Template" is disabled. Anyone know how to enable the button?

Unless until it is a Manual Journal, SLA page doesn't give you the provision to change them.
Even for Manual Journal, it won't allow you to change, if that is transferred to GL.
Only option is to UNDO the accounting and correct the setup to create correct journals. You may contact Oracle Support.

I try to shutdown a server using WLST, but get error below. I did not do anythig about the server. Is the RuntimeMBeanServer disabled by default? How to enable it?

How do you disable the uploading capabilities in Adobe Creative Cloud?

Is there a way to disable the uploading capabilities for Adobe Creative Cloud?
I just want users to get the downloads for their Adobe Products and not be able to upload anything to the cloud.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. If there is a solution, please send me documentation or a "how to". That would be very greatly appreciated!

How do I Disable ThinkVantage Password Manager

I have a new Lenovo T400. ThinkVantage has a password manager that pops up almost continuously when I'm browsing the web and, quite frankly, it's irritating. How do I disable the password manager?

Hmmmm, as far as I know, the "Password Manager" is installed with the "Client Security Solution". Anyway, if you are using windows XP and you have not uninstalled the "Client Security Solution", you can run it manually as following:
Windows --> Start --> Run --> "C:\Program Files\Lenovo\Client Security Solution\css_user.exe" /startmenu
But there is another option. You can disable Password Manager per-application. For example if you want to disable it for Internet Explorer try this
Password Manager --> Set Preference --> General --> Application Support --> Uncheck the Internet Explorer.
You can turn it off for all applications by disabling available options.

How do I disable printer color management so I can get clear photos using adobe?

My printer is an Office Jet Pro 8500A Plus. My operating system is Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I get excellent photos if I print from Windows Media. When I print from Photoshop Elements 10 all images are blurred and dark. Photoshop says to disable printer color management in printer preferences but there is no link.

I have researched the matter a lot and I,
along with many others, still have problems with this complicated
subject.
Color management is as simple in theory as Honoring a Source Profile and CONVERTING it to a Target Profile (monitor or printer) for Proofing.
But yes, we work at the mercy of the rocket scientists who try to dumb an extremely complicated process down so regular folks (like me) can make it work — trouble is I think their approach needs a bit more distilling and common sense sometimes...but it is very doable once you put in the time to figure it out, just follow the CHAIN in your workflow if you're still having problems.
If you want a "simple button" try staying in sRGB and printing out of Apple Preview app using OEM standard papers matched to your printer and OEM ink set.

you are using youtube API so the question is that you can't do anything as they'll continue using HTTP protocol which is stateless and thus can be downloaded !
A workaround you can do is to make browser detection script in javascript which will detect presence of IDM Plugin ... Once you detect the presence of IDM then you can disable the video embedding and not enable it till the user manually disables the IDM Plugin

SCCM Software Update Agent remains disabled

Dear All,
on single notebooks the Software Updates Agent remains disabled even if the Client Settings policy is set to enale the agent as in the attached images:
Even though if I set e.g. the remote tool agent as disabled, the agent becomes disabled on the same notebooks, where the SUA does not change state. Therefore a communication error is excluded.
Does anyone know where to look after more information about this issue and eventually how to solve it?

Add this one to the list of thinks that don't work on the Apple Job Board. It looks like Apple is using ADP's VE (Virtual Edge) technology to run this system, and I've been stupified by the number of features that are just broken, or so poorly thought out by ADP as to be unusable, (certainly for webkit and mozilla browsers at least: I didn't bother checking IE.)
Here are a few highlights:
"My Job List", list of jobs applied for, seems to max out at three. You can apply for more than that, but you can only see the first three.
"Search Using Your Resume" feature yields few or no results, even when the pasted text contains only common, exactly matched words like 'Design' or 'Engineer'.
The missing resume upload, described in this thread.
"My Job Agent" seems to never flag anything, at least it hasn't ever for me despite pretty loose criteria.
Agent's created using "My Job Agent" eventually just disappear, which is fine because they don't seem to work.
When updating a profile, acknowledging the 'Terms' happens twice in a row.
Job seekers can only supply one cover letter despite being able apply for several jobs.
Pagination for search results only appears at the top of the page, so it's necessary to scroll down through each page, then up to the top again to proceed to the next page.
Well, I'm sure there are others, but you get the idea. I hope the Apple folks can fix this, (or twist ADP's arm to fix it,) so it better represents the quality of experience that Apple is so respected for consistently delivering.
