Agent Email arrival IPC Action ?
Hi there,
Can anyone tell me if an IPC Action can be invoked when an email is received in the CAD Desktop (premium level) Agent Email tab?
I can see examples for configuring IPC Actions for new call arrival and Agent State changes, but what about email?
If email IPC Actions are implemented, then what fields are made available to the IPC Actions (sent over the UDP socket)?

I use an email client that notify's you when a new email arrives in your inbox. On IE a window pop's up with a chime that lets you know of new mail in your inbox. In Firefox the window pops up but with no sound. Is there an add on or extention that will do this?

UCCX 10.5 Agent Email - Agents cant send emails with attachment sizes over 50KB
Hi,
We have been trying to get the Agent Email functionality working in UCCX 10.5 for quite a while now. Everything seems to work other than when an agent attempts to add an attachment over 50KB in size. If under 50K, the attachment and email sends just fine. If it's over 50KB and the agent clicks Send, CAD just sits there saying "Sending..." and it never goes through.
I've had the Exchange administrator look through Exchange and validate that the Cisco instructions/requirements were put into place. We can't seem to find anything on the Exchange side.

Recommendation for a new feature - alert when an important email arrives
Why can't I set my iPhone to give me an alert when an important email arrives? This new feature would alert me when I get an email from a predetermined sender or subject line. AOL offers this feature. Why can't my iPhone do it too? The phone would need to read the sender address and subject line of each email, and then bounce it against a list of pre-configured alerts that the user programs.
This would also cut down on data consumption, since users would not have to check and recheck their mail when waiting for somethign important. With an alert, you just set it and forget it.iOS 6, coming this fall, will include a new feature that allows you to designate a VIP list for just this purpose. How do I set up my 4S phone to chime when a new email arrives? Right now, the chime only sounds after I tap the mail icon. I need an alert to check my mail. Comcast mail. Settings for mail set at "fetch new data". Thank you
Try if this works for you
1. Tap Settings on Home Screen
2. Go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars
3. Tap on Fetch New Data
4. Turn "Push" to On
5. Back to Mail, Contacts, Calendars again
6. Under "Advanced", make sure that it is set to "Push" for all your mail accounts
Push means the server will literally push the mails to your iPhone whenever there is new mail. Fetch like the word says is where you have to manually update to receive new mail (what you are doing now) -
i work for a retailer who sends out e-receipts as pdf attachements. When the email arrives on any apple product, i see the email with the paperclip icon showing that there is an attachment but i cannot ever see or find the actual attachment. Any ideas?
i have scrolled left, right, up and down on iphone4, iphone5 and ipad and the attachment simply does not exist. It has to be something with the apple mail client setup because for any mail client, if they go to the webemail thru safari, the attachment is there and it can be viewed without issue.
I know there are plenty of people out there with this issue with the mail clients set up that you access thru the email icon on the iphone and ipad but i cannot find anyone with a resolution. I cannot find any settings in the mail client setup that has anything to do with attachments or for what attachments can or cannot be read or seen.
Hopefully someone out there has figured something out because this is an odd one. -

Me sending service Quotation to customer as email by using action profile. problem facing here is, while sending email, sender name is going sy-uname so i was trying to set some default name in From address of mail body. Actually standard class and method which i used for this process is "CL_DOC_PROCESSING_CRM_ORDER=>CRM_SRVORDER_EXEC_SMART_FORM" . In this method signature is_mail_sender is empty while processing and this parameter is used as importing parameter while calling FM "Function_Name" . Can any one give me some idea how to do this customization.

Agent email help - buttons greyed out at one location
The setup: Two call centers. One in NC and one in CA.
The one in NC, which is where the call center servers are, has no issues with email buttons becoming active.
The one in CA, every morning when the agents login the email buttons will not become active unless the users do the following workaround
Start agent.
Run and IE url that was given to me by Cisco. http://<ipaddress of ccx server/EemUi/index.jsp?port=59015
This will force Java to start and have the java icon appear in the system tray.
Email buttons become active
Close IE window (which make email buttons grey out again)
close and restart agent
Email buttons work.
I only have this issue in the CA office.
I had them ship a desktop to me in the NC office. I connected it and did NOT have an issue. Everything works perfectly here.
Is the issue tied to the distance? Is there some java time out setting I can tweek to make this work.
I didn't have this problem with 8.5 su 2.... it happened after the update to su 3
Anyone seen this? Cisco has no answer.I bounced this around the office to get some ideas. One question - how long is the CA office waiting for the email buttons to become active? That is, setting the workaround aside, if they wait long enough, do the Agent E-Mail buttons ever become active? The thinking is that could be a factor as the entire applet is around 40 MB. If connection speed isn't great it could take a while to download which would explain the scenario.

ThanksIs it on mute? There is a switch on the side which may be mute or rotation lock. If it locks the rotation, double tap the home button and swipe your finger to the right. You should see volume, brightness, etc... On the far left is a button to mute or lock rotation. Make sure it is not on. If you still can't hear anything, go to settings> general> sounds> ringer and alerts and slide the dot to the right.

New emails arriving "read" in Mail 7.2
Hello,
Hopefully someone can help, ive searched google but come up with nothing.
I have a mac mini running Mavericks 10.9.2 with Mail 7.2
Currently running my work account through it on IMAP. New emails arrive but most of the time they arrive as "read" and not bold as unread.
I cant find anything in preferences that relate to it, so nothing that i can see is checked that shouldnt be etc.
Any ideas?

The account is also accessed by my iPhone but only when i am not at the office, im in the office all day today for example therefore have not sued my iPhone to check my email yet the majority of emails have arrived without my knoledge on the mac becuase they are "read".

Error from Cisco Agent Desktop - The agent- or workflow-initiated action request failed.
We have roughly 20 agents using Cisco Agent Desktop version 85.1.417 and I have one that when she clicks the phone button to answer a call she gets the error: "The agent- or workflow-initiated action request failed."
I reinstalled the program, but she still receives the same error. What could be causing this problem?This is what I found in the log:

Workflow IPC Action not sending data
I am trying to pass enterprise data from CAD to an in-house application with the IPC action in Desktop WorkFlow Admin. We are on UCCX 9.0.2 with Premium seats. At the moment I have the IPC action configured to send the data to 127.0.0.1:8888 and I have a program listening on that port for any data. The action is tied to a Task button in CAD, when I click it no data is received in the program listening to that port. In the CAD debugs, it seems to believe it is sending something though.

Not only is no data received but TCPview and wireshark don't catch any activity either. Is there some other area that has to be configured before CAD is allowed to send data via the IPC action?
Thanks for any input.I have used netcat and a custom application thrown together in visual studio to listen to a specified port and show any data that is received. They both work, we have tested them thoroughly. We are on UCCX 9.0.2 with Premium seats. The want to use IPC to send call info like Calling#, AgentID, PlayerAccount, Cal_duration etc. to a custom application that will query multiple databases to display the customer info all in one place. IPC would be the simplest and most efficient way to send this small amount of data. Problem is, the data doesn't appear to be leaving the CAD application during the IPC action.

Agent EMail not downloading the mail-IPCCX

I have configured the system but still i am unable to retrieve the mail.
I can see the mail in the toolbar. The email status bar shows- Draft.
When i click on the email it shows downloading email, but nothing appears on the Agent Email window.
I have reinstalled the software and update also happened.
No idea why the mail is not getting downloaded.

After reinstalling the CAD its showing the state of Email ready and not ready but i cannot change the status ;(
Before, atleast i could change the status and email was showing in the status bar.
