Agent in expression not determined

Hi All,
I have a user decision step in my workflow.The agent for this step is determined programmatically and passed to a variable .In the agent assignment portion of user decision,I have used this variable(Expression).But it errors out at run time and error is 'RESULTS OF AGENT RESOLUTION DOES NOT AGREE WITH AGENTS OF TASK'.
I could see in the container that the variable is filled with a user name 'XXXXX'.I executed the workflow with user decision agent as 'XXXXX' (USER) and it works fine but when the same user is in variable it errors out.
The User decision is maintained as general task in this system.
Can anyone please help me in fixing this?

Why don't people read the other answers or even the question? The first answer is to set the task as general although in the question it is already stated the task is set as general.
Then an answer is given (the correct one) that the user-id should have the prefix US. After that two more people say the same and one even uses a bold face and demands points. For what, copying someone else's answer? (ok maybe you thought of it yourself, but the answer was already given, so why give it again?).

The forwrading agent is available in route of the order item . but still it is not copied ?

Are you referring about Forwarding agent is not determined in Sales Order(VA01) OR Shipment document ( VT01N)?
if its SO-
Forwarding agent will be determined in SO from the Customer Master. not from the Route.
where as in Shipment document-
Forwarding agent determined automatically, if you maintain the routine-7 in shipment doc type details in Customization. ( IMG-LE-Transportation-Shipments - Define shipment types)

Task TS00007989 agent not determined still Mails are going to USERS

Hi Experts,
At one of our client task TS00007989 is activated for error handling for IDOC.
IDOC is created by report in background and system is not getting partner profile in WE20 for the customer hence post processing agent is also not found for task, hence it is raising an error and task TS00007989 gets trigger.
Here my problem is, specific user is getting so many mails. Now i want to find out why & how system is sending this mails to the USER other way is to deactivate the workflow from WE40.
I have checked the LOG from swi2_freq and SWI5.
below is the screen shot of users INBOX.
I would like to find out why & how system is sending this mails to the USER. I have checked from HR tables HRP1001 from there also i didn't found anything

The Task TS00007989 has a default rule assigned 30000013
Go to SE37 , set a break point in Function EDI_ROLE_FOR_PROCESSING
Go to PFAC -> give rule number 30000013 and simulate -> Give the IDOC Number (anyone from your screen shot).
Debug and find out the Partner which is being picked up from your IDOC

Error: Result of agent resolution does not agree with agents of task

Hi,
I'm getting the error "Result of Agent Resolution does not agree with agent of Task". I'm passing the agents in Expression which I'm getting from Method in my previous step and passing to workflow container and it is getting passed to Expression. The userid is present in that container. And the Task is assigned as General Task but still I dont know what might be the problem. The ID is with 'US' prefix. Even if I give the userid directly in the Task, it shows the same error.

Incase you are using different clients for development and testing, make sure in testing client, task is assigned as general task.
You may check the way the userid is passed. Please note that the US is object type and Object ID(user id) is different. Both of them should not be part of one string. So while you test, just pass the user id without a prefix US. Hope it will work for u.

Result of agent resolution does not agree with agents of task

Hello Experts,
I am trying to configure a workflow for Employee Travel expense, the Business object am using is BUS2089 for event CREATED.
And am configuring workflow task WS20000040 (Approve trip). and in the work flow builder I am assigning User as an Agent and fixing it to a user say "USER1" for Task 404 (Check trip facts) and for Task 416 (Approve trip facts) again am assigning User as an Agent and fixing it to user say "USER2"
Now when the Trip is saved using PR05, this work flow is triggerred - which is what i want and it sends work item to USER1, now when USER1 says Trip facts are consistent the work item should go to USER2 but here it is failing and the log says "Agent determination for step 0000000416 failed" and details say "Result of agent resolution does not agree with agents of task" which is SWF_RUN 544
Can you guys help me by telling where am going wrong. Am i missing some configuration somewhere.
I have changed the Task properties - Attributes i have changed the task as a General Task,(i did it by navigating through Control Tab of the task)

I made the task as a general task and i see a gree light adjacent to it, but still it doesn't work.
the way i made it as a general task is as follows:
1. in the navigation area - select task 416
2. In the right hand side, on Control Tab in Task properties, click on the Red button and maintain Agent assignment
3. In Agent Assignment change attributes to General Task - instead of General Forwarding allowed.
save and activate, and generate runtime version
Is this correct or any other way?

Commission for an agent, who is NOT a Customer....

Hello everyone...
Please give your valuable insights... how do we configure commission for an agent who is not a customer but gets orders to the company?
This is the Scenario. Our client is into a business process where they got an Agent whose role is to get POu2019s (purchase orders) from customers, and the company pays him(agent) some commission. This commission is based on the value of the order he gets. Now how do we configure this in SAP?

You can get this requirement through maintaining the Forwarding agent as one of the partner in your partner determination procedure.

Forwarding agent
A forwarding agent is an example of a business partner on the credit side, who is included in a sales process. If you commission a particular forwarding agent for deliveries to a specific customer, you can define the forwarding agent in the customer master record as the partner.
Possible partner functions on the credit side in the sales process are for example, interpreters, auditors.

Button/Branch Routing Error:ERR-7621 Could not determine workspace for app

We are getting an error for one of our applications that is only occurring in Production and we are unable to reproduce in any of our other environments.
When the user clicks a button on one specific page (Save, Back, Add) the user is getting the following error:
Expecting p_company or wwv_flow_company cookie to contain security group id of application owner.
Error ERR-7621 Could not determine workspace for application (:) on application accept.
The Back button is the one that doesn't make sense why it is not working as it is a simple redirect to the previous page.
Version: Application Express 2.2.1.00.04
Please help as this issue is affecting our customer from processing orders. I have looked for this error previously, but none seem related to Buttons/Branches. Let me know if you need anymore information.

I imported the same file into the workspace that I used to import into production.
Perfect.
Do you need me to take an export from production directly and reimport?

Error ERR-7621 Could not determine workspace for application (:) on applica

Hello!,
We have a simple template based report in apex, it has 2 tabs, each displays a very small, static table
(about 30 records, 3 columns each). There is 1 user accessing apex, who is logged into the db server
that has the apex app. We've tried several browsers, all same have behaviour as outlined below;
When selecting either tab, we frequently get this error;
"Error ERR-7621 Could not determine workspace for application (:) on application accept
Expecting p_company or wwv_flow_company cookie to contain security group id of application owner.
OK."
The user clicks "OK" and it takes them back to the tab they were viewing but not the one they selected
OR sometimes it displays the wonderful, "Page Cannot Be Displayed" etc.. Refreshing browser either
then displays the error message (above) or stays with "Page Cannot Be Displayed".
The environment:
Application Express 3.0.1.00.08 using PL/SQL gateway
Oracle db 11.1.0.6
Windows 2003 SP2
Browsers IE(6,7,8), Chrome, FF
Additionally APEX is very, very slow whether it errors or not and in any browser.
Any ideas where to start troubleshooting? Thanks in advance, Donald

Identify SCOM agents that do not have an SCCM client

I would like to identify SCOM agents that do not have an SCCM client installed. I have the SCCM mp installed as well as the SCCM client health mp provided by Tao Yang installed. I believe I could create my own registry discovery to identify
if the SCCM install exists, but was wondering if there was a way that could leverage the existing SCCM mps I have in place instead of duplicating efforts.

Try running a report in SCCM and then check it against the windows server group in SCOM.
Check it into excel and then use the highlight duplicates. This should give you list of servers that are missing either SCCM or SCOM agent.
This is a manual process but you could look at scripting this:
extract SCCM server list (Export -CMDeviceCollection)
extract SCOM server list (See:

APEX SSO and Load balancing: Could not determine workspace for application

We had a single HTTP Server serving APEX in a 10.2.0.2 database configured with SSO to be used by the developers. APEX has been registered as a partner application and the login url has been CA Siteminder protected so that the SM_USER details are forwarded in the header for the application to use for authorization. Everything is fine so far.
Now we have added a HTTP Server on another host and have it all set up for APEX and its pointing to the same database. APEX_ADMIN access works as normal, but applications previously using SSO now get the following error after entering the URL.
Expecting p_company or wwv_flow_company cookie to contain security group id of application owner.
Error ERR-7620 Could not determine workspace for application ().
Using HTTP Watch I find that the application is not even trying to redirect to the login page.
What is wrong here?

APEX has been registered as a partner application as described in

In the meantime I found metalink document 368746.1 which describes the cause of this problem. Please read carefully what I wrote, it all works when the the new APEX web server is turned off in the server farm on the load balancer and directed through the original web server. When running regapp.sql the hostname in the listener token was using the virtual hostname. This works fine if the request comes from the original APEX server which proofs that there is nothing wrong with the installation and set up of SSO. When directing the request to the new APEX web server the APEX_ADMIN page still works only existing work spaces using SSO don't seems to work anymore resulting in a error as described in the subject.
As for metalink document 368746.1 naming the causes of this error:
- there are no duplicate entries in WWSEC_ENABLER_CONFIG_INFO$
-LISTENER_TOKEN clearly works for requests coming from the first web server
-theoretically the web server listener port could be changed from 7777, but port 80 needs to be maintained here as production is mimiced as far down as possible.
Is there some cache table which can be cleared? How is it that the flows schema (apex engine) can not find the work space when the request comes from a new web server which can however access the APEX_ADMIN pages.

I am sorry as that note is for NW2004s. Please check if 0DAT variable installed from a business content? if not then I think thats the cause of the problem.

Could not determine value for variable 0P_FVAEX (or 0P_CTPCA)

I get the below error while accessing a query on the planning Info Cube. I used the SAP Exit variable Most Current Data (Transactional InfoCube) (0S_RQTRA) in the query for the Characteristic - Request ID (0REQUID) to extract the data from the yellow request too.
I do not use the below variables as in the below eror in my query at all. Please assist.

This error diagnosis is specific only to the variables 0P_FVAEX or 0P_CTPCA !

you need to take a closer look at your query. Somewhere you used one of the 0P_* exit variables, which work only for controlling related InfoCubes. Use your own variables.

Error : 'Tax Jurisdiction is not determined' while creating sales order

I'm creating a sales order using the BAPI : BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT1.
I'm passing the following values in ORDER_HEADER_IN parameter:
doc_type,sales_org,distr_chan,division,po_method,sales_off,req_date_h,data_type,purch_no,purch_date,price_date.
I'm passing the following values in SD_ORDER_PARTNERS:
partn_role,partn_numb,name,langu,region,country.
The following fields are passed in SD_ORDER_ITEMS:
material,req_qty,sales_unit,store_loc (space is passed for st.loc),req_date,po_method,req_date,plant.

Do you want to use the customer master address for the ship-to? Does the ship-to on the customer master haver a tax jurisdiction determined? Did you change the values in region/country from what they are on the customer master which would cause the tax jurisdiction determined on the customer master to be re-determined and thus rejected? You don't need to send address values in the partner table if you intend to use the customer master values...
