Agent - Multiple Skills, how to distinguish calls
UCCX / IPCC express 7.0 w/ Call Manager 7.1(3)
I have a call center with two skills. Basically a separate skill, script and queue for English and Spanish callers that ring the same group of agents. It all works fine but how can agents tell which queue the call came in on? The spanish skill takes less calls and they would like to answer in Spanish when a call comes in from that queue. Is there anyway to cconfigure that?
You can push variables into CAD, so you can create a string variable called "language" and if the script that is triggered is the spanish script you will set the value of the variable to "spanish" or "english" if the english script was the one triggered and show that variable in CAD. UCCX - Alert Agent with Team Info on Incoming Call
If an agent is a member of multiple teams is it possible for the agent to be alerted with incoming calls which team the call belongs to? If so, how is this possible?
I think you are confusing your terms.
A Team is a group of Agents with one or more supervisors.
An Application is the glue for one or more Triggers and a single Script.
It sounds like you are talking about a Contact Service Queue (CSQ). If so, then yes, an Agent can support more than one CSQ. In this case, you will find the CSQ name in CAD automatically.

Here's my favorite scenario:
1. User clicks button
2. Save As dialog displays
3. User chooses location
4. A set of PDF files download to that location OR a single zip file downloads
Background:
I want to ensure the user sees that files are being downloaded. I'm delivering content to users who may not be Web savvy.
Concern:
1. User has no clue how to find downloaded files or that files have even downloaded.
2. I'd like to deliver the set as zip files. Not sure if self-opening zip files still exist.
FYI:
I'm using jQuery UI buttons. Not sure if that factors into response.Just for clarity, I'm not forcing a download. The user will click a button.

Usually, no matter where you use any classes of any package, the imports happen always in the beginning.

PRT leveling and multiple skill in sap PS
Hi Experts,
As client wants that one activity can be performed by multiple skills(eg one activity can be performed by 1 carpenter 3 driver etc) as we are not getting any thing which support this (eg-workcenter multiple capacity ) Note -client do not have HR .So we are going with creating skills as PRT and then assigning them in activity material component.
Please suggest the right way to achieve this or how can we level projects PRT.

But in Project activity only option is available to give capacity.

You must have a separate and individual id for each of your devices. For her iphone it's the telephone number. For each ipad, you must have a separate and individual id also. The ipad id's must be an e-mail address. You cannot use the same e-mail address for both i pads, and you can not use the email address that you use for Face time log in. The folks I know, create multiple e-mail accounts on Yahoo to facilitate this requirement. These individual phone numbers and e-mail addresses should be put into your calling lists for your Facetime accounts.
So if you want to call your wife's i-pad you need to have the mail address associated with it on your ipad account and visa-versa. I guess you guys will need to make sure you know who's carrying which device...This modern electronic world can be a circus at times, even though it has its rewards. -
If a agent belongs to multiple queues is there away for the agent to know which queue the call is coming from.
The end user is using ip phone agent, not desktop agent.
ex.
queue a xyz company sales
queue b xyz company support

Rob.To do this, you'll need to create a telecaster user in CUCM and assign your agent phones to this user. In the Cisco Desktop adminsitartor web portal you need to enter your telecaster user details under CAD Configuration Setup -> BIPPA User Login.
To configure what fields are displayed go to the Cisco Desktop Adminitrator web portal -> Services Configuration -> Enterprise Data -> Layout List -> default. Edit the fields here you want to display. You might need to populate one of the call variables in your script with the CSQ name.

Yes, you can. I'm not aware of specific documentation for this, but a couple of notes:
- Make sure you use unique resource accounts (e.g. JT user in particular as that is automatically managed by UCCX and one cluster WILL break the other)
- I would also use unique AXL accounts and probably RM accounts. RM you could share between clusters to just have one RM account to associate any agent phone to, but it's safer to have single-purpose service accounts.
- You can't assign a user to a particular cluster - so you enable IPCC Extension on one user, they appear in 'resources' on both UCCX servers.

How do I call an Application Module method from a EntityImpl class?

Using Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.3.0.
I've got a price update form, that when submitted, takes the part numbers and prices in the form and updates the corresponding Parts' price in the Parts table. Anytime this Parts view object's ReplacementPrice attribute is changed, an application module method needs to be called which updates a whole slew of related view objects. I know you can modify view objects via associations (How do I call an Application Module method from a ViewObjectImpl class? but that's not what I'm trying to do. These AppModuleImpl methods are the hub for all price updates, as many different operations may affect related pricing (base price lists, price buckets, etc) and hence, call the updatePartPricing(key) method.
For some reason, the below code does not call / run / activate the application module's method. The AppModuleDataControl exists and recordPartHistory(key) is registered and public. At runtime, the am.<method> code is simply ignored, and as a weird side-effect, I cannot navigate out of my current page flow.

Turns out the code provided was correct, but the AppModuleImpl method being called was not. A dependent ViewObject wasn't returning the row I was expecting. I then tried to perform some operations on that row, which in turn ... just stopped everything, but didn't give me an error.
It was the lack of the error that threw me off. I had never messed with calling an AppModuleImpl method from the EntityImpl so I assumed that's what was messing up.
You are correct. It is available from the ViewRow, but I thought it better to put it in the EntityImpl. This method will be called every time the replacement cost is modified. If I didn't put it in the EntityImpl, I'd have to remember to call it every time a replacement cost changed. -

How can I pass a users credentials to reports without the user having to connect to the database? Single Sign-on isn't an option either.

If you want to pass the user credentials to the report dynamically, then SSO (Single Sign-On) is the only option I can think of.
If the user credentials can be hard-coded, then the following 2 solutions are possible:
1. Use cgicmd.dat file, and write the user credentials in the file.
2. In your report JSP itself, you could write the following:
<rw:report id="report" parameters="userid=scott/tiger@mydb">
