Agent Office 10 - Desktop Manager 7.0.0.59 (60)

I did a stupid thing, I agreed to an update of my desktop software. This has caused a problem that I did not expect. The new version of the desktop software does not recognize the Agent Office 10 CRM software, in fact the only db it will allow me to sync with is Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express. I have Outlook express on my system, however it is not what I use as my CRM.
The BB desktop manager version that loaded is 7.0.0.59 (60).
I have removed it, and reloaded, same result.
What the heck is going on....frustrated.

Hey Cimonma,
Welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.
Synchronization with Agent Office was supported in BlackBerry® Desktop Manager 4.2 SP2.
The newer versions would require an add-on plug-in since as it is not a supported synchronization program, I would suggest reaching out to Agent Office for the required add-on.
Thanks.

  • Blackberry 8830 WE & Desktop Manager v. 4.2 SP2 & Microsoft Office 2000

I have a 8830 WE and I am using Windows XP and MS Office 2000. I was told that V4.2 SP2 is the only version of the desktop manager that will support the sync with MSO 2000. Can anyone supply me with a working link to get V4.2 SP2? If not, does anyone know of a work around to sync MSO2000? Thanks for any help......

    Hey mstilesky,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.2 SP2 is not available to download anymore.
You can download any new version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager, however you will need to update Microsoft Outlook to 2002/2003/2007 or 2010 to perform any synchronization.

  • Desktop Management Agents Upgrade

    Hi,
Eventually in a few months I'll be upgrading our current student server at
the High School I work at from Netware 6 and Zenworks 4.01 ir6 to Netware
    6.5 and Zenworks 6.5.
Each of the computers connected to the student server have a Zen partition
installed for imaging purposes and all the up to date desktop management
    agents.
If I update from Zenworks 4 to Zenworks 6.5 without updating the Desktop
Management Agent to Zenworks 6.5, will the imaging, remote control, policy
packages, NDPS printing not work anyomre or will it all still work even
though the Zenworks version is 6.5 but all the computers have Desktop
Management Agents 4.01 ir6? I would like to update to Zenworks 6.5 and
slowly update the Desktop Management Agents(from Zen 4 Desktop Management
Agents to Zen 6.5 Desktop Management Agents) in each computer lab over
time, but if it's going to effect the imaging server policy, user policy
packages, remote control, NDPS printing etc... I'll have to plan the
    upgrade over the summer time.
    Thanks for your time!

  • Need help syncing with Agent Office

I am trying to sync a Blackberry Curve 8530 using Blackberry Desktop Manager 5.0.1 with a real estate software program called Agent Office v.10
The problem I have, is that when I am trying to setup the sync options, and the desktop manager is requesting that I select a desktop application to sync with, Agent Office is not listed.
I have contacted the Agent Office people for help, and they seem to be just as miffed as I am.
Is there somewhere within the Desktop Manager that I can tell it programs to look for?
Does the desktop manager look for certain file types to associate with?
    Any help is appreciated.

  • Desperately need Desktop Manager 4.2.2.12

    Good morning,
I have a client that is a real estate agent team. They are currently using and old version Agent Office and they refuse to upgrade. I really, really need a copy of desktop manager 4.2.2.12 to integrate their blackberries into the system and I can't find it anywhere online. I called RIM and they played like it didn't exist in their system. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Hello keleko17,
KB12268 lists the current supported Desktop programs supported by the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for application synchronization.
You can contact the vendor about a possible 3rd party add in application for compatibility with the software.
    Hope this helps!

  • How to sync Curve 8900 and Agent Office

I am a Realtor who uses Agent Office contact management software. I have changed from a Palm OS to the Blackberry Curve 8900. My database is not transferring over and I have not found a way to make it work. Has anyone found the secret? My phone numbers are not all showing up and my memos did not transfer at all. My provider is T-Mobile

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Agent Office contact management software? Is that an application that ran on your Palm? Or is it on your PC and you were synching your Palm against it? If the former, then you need to check with the Agent Office folks to see if they have an app that runs on the BB and can provide you with conversion instructions. If the latter, then you need to get the data you want into a PIM that is compatible with BBs...here's a list:
KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager for synchronization
If your Agent Office isn't listed (I don't think it is), then you need to find a way for Agent Office to get the data you need into one of the compatible PIMs, then set up the BB to synch to that PIM:
KB17022 How to configure organizer applications for synchronization using BlackBerry Desktop Manager
Unless there is some other secret way...but I'm not aware of any...

  • SYNC Agent Office v.10(network) & Blackberry

I have been struggling this one for months! I can't find how to sync when using AO v.10 & BB Curve when you have AO data on the server. Anyone have any ideas?

    Hey balloon,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
What version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager are you currently using?  As far as I know, Agent Office synchronization was supported in Desktop Manager 4.2 SP2.
But the latest versions would require an add-on plugin since it is not a supported synchronization program.

  • BLACKBERRY TORCH - won't turn on and desktop manager won't recognise it - I can't get my contacts

    Hi all,
I'm new to this so please bare with me.
I'll try and be as brief as possible. Up until last week I had the Blackberry Torch 9800. I was due an upgrade and about two days before I went to contact my network provider my Torch battery died (it wasn't broken at this point, it just was drained and needed charged) so I went to charge it and it did that thing where the battery was so dead it wouldn't even switch on whilst charging.
I plugged it in and rather than charge like normal it was completely dead and the only activity it offered me was two red flashing lights as it 'charged'. From that moment on it has not turned on. Dead as can be. If I plug to charge (wall charger OR USB port) I get the two bright red flashing notification lights but it will not go on.
Anyway rather than send it to be repaired I opted for a new phone as I was due an upgrade anyway and intended on doing so whether the Torch was alive and kicking at this point or not. Cut a long story short I got my new blackberry (9360 curve) it is all set up with my e-mail etc, media card and same sim card swapped over but as Blackberry insist on your contact numbers being saved to the handset and not the sim my contacts are stuck in my Torch 9800.
When I go to plug the Torch in to Desktop manager to get the contacts saved to there and then sync over to my new handset the Torch is so dead that DManager won't even read/recognise it. My network say since this is not an issue with network etc they can't really help and gave me a number for Blackberry services in England somewhere (they are office hrs so can't phone until Monday morning).
Please can someone help? I have my new 9360 all up and running but my contacts are stuck in my Torch and that is the only place they are? DManager won't recognise the Torch because it is dead - except the two flashing lights - and therefore won't let me at the contacts that way.
ANY help would be appreciated - please not too techinal as not great with all of that side of things!
    Sorry for the long post.

  • Sync on desktop manager won't start with new 9700

I am attaching my 9700, with a USB cable, to my laptop. The Desktop Manager software opens but it will not start the sync'ing process with my device.
    - the little "check" box - "automatically synchronize device and computer when USB connected" is switched on
    - I am using the latest version of Desktop Manager
    - the "Synchronize" tab is in grey. It's grey'ed out. When my curser hovers over "Synchronize" it won't light up, as in, it won't let me press the Synchronize button to initiate the process.
    - my 9700 is brand new. I had no synchronizing problems with my previous model, the Curve.
    - my laptop is a great device, I don't currently, nor haven't had, any issues with it in the past - DELL D420 Latitude. I seem to have all the drivers I need
    - I am running Windows XP
    - I am not linking to a server at work. My Blackberry is set is purely a directly link from the 9700 device, to my computer, and syncs with the calendar, address book and tasks list (MS Outlook 2003 from MS Office)
    - my new 9700 - I bought it 2weeks ago. It did sync in the beginning. About three times successfully. But not now obviously.
    - on my Windows bar at the bottom of my computer screen it pops up "new hardware added" and the 9700 device is no longer described by its identity number (PIN ref?), it says "new hardware added, 'memory device'"
    - I've searched through the Blackberry help pages and so far, all I can come up with is that my computer can't seem to recognise now, for some unknown reason, that it is connected to my 9700. Blackberry help suggested I go to the "pairing" pages of the Help guide, but I thought "pairing" was only a subject that involves Bluetooth activities. Not a USB cable connection.
    Anyone got any ideas?

    Hey Graeme0309,
If you disconnect the BlackBerry from your computer and open Desktop Manager, are you able to open Synchronize?
What version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager are you using?

    Any Ideas???

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
I've searched the public KBs for any hint of the various codes in your error log and haven't found anything as of yet. You may have better luck.
But, given that, I recommend a complete and clean start over...here's a process:
I suggest the following steps (insert plenty of reboots of your PC...not just restarts, but full power down reboots). Also, it is advised that you be logged into the PC on an account with full admin rights. Further, under Vista/Win7, use the "Run As Administrator" option for everything.
    1) Remove your device OS update package from your PC (add/remove programs)
    2) Cleanly uninstall the RIM DTM software:
KB02206 How to perform a clean uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software
Some have reported that there are more registry keys to remove than are discussed in that KB
Others have reported the use of a registry cleansing tool to also be helpful
    3) Get a fresh download of the RIM DTM software:
    https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22
Choose the version that is newest and (if applicable) compatible with your PIM (if you are synchronizing via USB):
KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager for synchronization
    4) Download (to your PC) a fresh copy of your device OS package from your carrier:
    http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
    5) Install DTM to your PC
    6) Install (also to your PC), the device OS package
    7) Start the organizer configuration over:
KB17022 How to configure organizer applications for synchronization using BlackBerry Desktop Manager
Hopefully that will get things going again.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Cannot Connect to Desktop Manager

For some reason I can not get my Playbook to connect to the Desktop Manager.  I have tried on 2 seperate computers (one XP and one Vista).  I have tried deleting and reinstalling the latest version of DM.  I know it's not the cable as I am able to connect my Bold 9700 with no issues.  On the XP computer it just doesn't recognize it.  The Playbook itself goes to the "Connected to Computer" screen, however the device doesn't show up as connected or under My Computer.  In the Device Manager it's listed at a Network Device (With a yellow exclamation point) and when I click on it, it says "Device can't start".  On the Vista Machine it shows up in DM as an Unknown Device and a window pops up saying "Desktop Manager cannot communicate with this device"
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Try turning off your wireless.  I had the same problem at work.  Our wireless at work is outside the office wired network and the software will not let you connect if your computer is not on the same network as the playbook. Once I turned off the wireless it worked great.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Saw an earlier post which suggested the following:
I would try deleting the intellisync folder and then trying to sync again. This may or may not help. Below are the instructions:
Close the BlackBerry Desktop Manager application.
Disconnect the BlackBerry device from the computer.
Double Click on My Computer> Local Disk (c>Documents and Settings>(username)>Application Data>Research In Motion>Blackberry>Intellisync
Note: If the Application Data folder is not present, click Tools>Folder Options at the top of the screen.
Click the View Tab, then click on Show Hidden Files and Folders.
Click Apply>Ok and continue through the remaining steps.
Delete everything within the Intellisync folder.
Launch BlackBerry Desktop Manager and attempt sync the device with the computer.
I have done this and sync seems to be working (for now anyway) - give it a go!
