Agent Registration Issue
I sent an Agent an invite and when they signed up, it created their own account vs being able to approve under my On Plus account. How do I resolve this?
Hello -
Could you send me a private message with agent ID? I can then delete the agent and then you will have to request it again.
Once requested, ensure they use the link provided and follow the instruction in the e-mail sent to them.
Thanks,
The OnPlus Team

Invalid agent registration password when trying to secure agent
Hi Guys,
looking for some help with an issue im having trying to secure a 10.2.0.4 agent against 10g OEM.
A little background, the agent has been running succesfully against an OEM server which is now being decomissioned. I have editied the emd.properties file in order to point to the new server. I can start the agent ok, so far, so good. however when I try to run "emctl secure agent" I get:
Enter Agent Registration password :
Agent successfully stopped... Done.
Securing agent... Started.
Requesting an HTTPS Upload URL from the OMS... Done.
Requesting an Oracle Wallet and Agent Key from the OMS... Failed.
Failed to contact the OMS at the HTTP URL set in /ford/app/oracle/OracleHomes/agent10g/sysman/config/emd.properties
The password im entering works when connecting to dbsnmp in the database.
The sysman/log/secure.log file contains this:
[main] ERROR sec.GetWallet - caught Exception java.lang.Exception: szOmsSeed exception java.lang.Exception: szOmsSeed error: ERROR:203:Invalid agent registration password
[13-03-2009 09:52:48] USERINFO :: Failed.
[13-03-2009 09:52:48] USERINFO ::Failed to contact the OMS at the HTTP URL set in /ford/app/oracle/OracleHomes/agent10g/sysman/config/emd.properties
[13-03-2009 09:52:48] USERINFO ::The Agent has not been secured.
Any ideas?thanks for your responses guys.
as yet I dont have access to the GC environment at this stage, as the new oem is hosted and managed by a separate team. (sorry, would've helped to mention that).
Re firewall, it should be ok I think, I can telnet succesfully to 4889 & 1159, 3872 is open the other way. -
Jabber for Windows Registration Issue
I have been facing issue with J4W registration and display error "no connection to server". Following is the version detail:-
Version CUCM and IM&P---> (10.5.2)
On-Premises login
During analysis, i found 2 things in logs:-
1). Unable to download jabber-config.xml file (Download of TFTP File failed for server ) //// all the other xml files are succesfully downloaded which may indicate that there is an absence of jabber-config.xml file.
2). While signing into presence "OnLoginError: (data=0) LERR_JABBER_UNREACHABLE <16>: "
[rc\cert\common\BaseCertVerifier.cpp(250)] [csf.cert.] [cert::BaseCertVerifier::checkIdentity] - About to verify the Subject Alt Name.
[ls\src\cert\common\CertVerifier.cpp(154)] [csf.cert] [cert::CertVerifier::checkIdentifier] - Verifying identity '162.20.10.30'

[rc\cert\utils\AltNameParserImpl.cpp(400)] [csf.cert.utils] [cert::AltNameParserImpl::verify] - No Match Found
I tried to change the IP address to FQDN under System---> Server, but after that the connection is lost between CUCM and IM&P.
Attached is the log file and snapshot of IM&P.

Sorry for the late reply. You may well have resolved this by now, if you have can I suggest that you update the post with the resolution so others may benefit.
Looking at the logs, I can see that Jabber is trying to login to the IMP server below, but its returning server unreachable error.

We will need to look at the IMP logs to know what is going on. Let me know if you still need help with this. -
Regarding passport registration issues, I need to have a letter from you including both the old and new imei numbers. Could you please send me an email mentioning that I have changed the phones with the given imei numbers?
You're not addressing Apple here. This is a user-to-user technical support forum. If you want to contact Apple, use the Contact Us link at the bottom right of every page for information on how to do so.

Agent determination issue with no error, cant use SWPR?
Hello gurus.
We currently have 81 invoices that have workflow status "in process". However, the last line of this status is "agent determination issue". I've assigned the appropriate user in PFOM and i want to restart the workflow item, but i cannot use SWPR.
Normally it should be in error and you can use SWPR, and that fixes everything- however why is the workflow still "in process" and not in error? and how can i complete the workflow item now that the agent has been assigned? do i just create a new workflow using SWUE and delete the old one? Many thanks.Hi,
OK then try like this , as you said you do not have authorizations to SWI1_RULE right so do teh below steps,
1. Execute SE37 and execute the fucntion module ALINK_CALL_TRANSACTION.
2. Now mention the txn name as SWI1_RULE.
3. Now you should be able to see teh initial screen of the txn.
4. Now enter teh workitem ID which is in ready state not the top workitem ID, the workitem for which the agent is not assigned. Click F8.
5. Now choose that workitem ID and click CTRL + SHIFT + F11.
it should re evalutae the agents, if this is also not determing then make a note of the RULE ID from activity step and open the txn by using the above function module and try to simulate the rule or please let us know what is the rule type.
Regards

I have created TAR file for agent installation and now after installation, it's configured. But not able to secure and not able to start or shutdown agent.

I dont know why it's pointing to diffrent location instead of /opt/oracle/10.2/sysman/config ...?did you reconfigure the agent?
One easy fix would be to copy the folder from sysmanxxxx to the one it's looking for.. -
Dear All,
after SMD agent installation (SolMan 7, EHP1 SP3) the SMD service start without problems. Unfortunately the agent cannot be registered properly, in SMD Agent Candidates I can see it but it stays in status 'Waiting for agent registration'and sometimes there is a 'handshake denied' error.
In Diagnostics Setup -> Managed Systems -> Introscope Agent I can see the agent but withthe status: "Failed to connect to server: <name> - Please make sure SMD Agent is up and running".
Any idea what can be the reason? LM* has the latest version and SP.
Best regards,
JakubDid you ever get this resolved? I've looked for Notes but only found your message.

Dear all,
We have SCOM 2012 r2 , when we install agent through discovery . We got the below error
The Operations Manager Server cannot process the install/uninstall request for computer xxxxx due to failure of operating system version verification.
Operation: Agent Install
Install account: XXXXX
Error Code: 80070035
Error Description: The network path was not found.
Any idea what would be the issue here ?
Gone through some forum , but no luck

Thanks,
74KMSHi
Kevin Holman has a great blog on troubleshooting agent install issues here:
http://blogs.technet.com/b/kevinholman/archive/2009/01/27/console-based-agent-deployment-troubleshooting-table.aspx
The error you state has "Manual Agent Install" as the "fix".
Could you confirm:
1. The agent is in the same domain as the SCOM Management Server?
2. Can you do an NSLookup from the Management Server to the agent FQDN?
3. If you try and install the agent manually, do you get an error or does it complete?
Cheers

It does not seem to be connecting . What seems to be the issue here and how can I resolve it ?Hi,
it looks like the network error I had in the past. Doe haave a firewall between Client and Proxy ?
Is your client connected to more than one network ? If so it can be helpful to use the -a option.
I would check firewall andd routing.
Kind regards

Zenworks 7 Linux Management Device Registration Issue
All,
Below is a detailed description of a resistration issue using Zenworks
Linux Management 7.
Hardware Configuration:
1- DSL Modem (Westell Model 2200)
1- DI 614+ 2.4 GHz Broadband Wireless Router (includes 4-5 ethernet
ports) with a IP address of 192.168.0.1
1- PC Server running Redhat SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 (has a static
IP address of 192.168.0.103). This machine is running the Zenworks 7
Linux Management Software and is able to sucessfully launch the Zenworks
7 Control Panel.
1- Redhat Linux Enterprise Server 3 on a completely different network
with a static IP address (207.44.142.56). This machine is running the
Zenworks Linux Management Agent install using the ./zlm-install -a
command.
Network Configuration:
The broadband DSL modem is connected directly to the WAN ethernet port on
the wireless router
The primary PC server running Redhat SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 has a
direct connection to one of the ethernet ports on the wireless broadboard
router with a private static IP address of 192.168.0.103 and has a public
IP of 70.22.107.168.
The DSL modem is has a direct connection to the telephone line.
The Redhat Linux Enterprise Server 3 is on a completely different network
with a IP of 207.44.142.56.
No firewalls are configured on the primary server and the wireless router
Port Forwarders are configured on the broadband wireless router as
follows:

Goal:
To successfully register the Redhat Linux Enterprise 3 server (i.e. the
managed device with IP 207.44.142.56) with the primary server
(192.168.0.103 SUSE Redhat Enterprise Server 9 machine) so it can be
viewed and managed from the Zenworks 7 Control panel.
Nature of Problem:
When attempting to register the managed device (207.44.142.56) with the
primary server (192.168.0.103) which resides inside of my Wireless Local
Area Network (WLAN) via the following command, it appears to fail. I'm
unable to view or configure this managed device inside of the Zenworks 7
Linux Management Control Panel. The following are 2 manual approaches
that I take to register the managed device and the results for each.
Register using private IP approach:
/opt/novell/zenworks/bin/rug sa https://192.168.0.103
Results: ERROR: Could not add 'https://192.168.0.103': Download failed:

duplicate question - can I gently mention a point? Whilst we naturally
understand that you may need information/help in a hurry, asking the
same question in multiple forums dilutes the answers you get, and makes
more work for those of us who have to read them; it would help if you
could avoid this in future.
Many thanks

Custom clearing agent payment issue
Dear experts
Purchase order was created and the material was received on port (imports).
custom clearing agent has cleared the goods.
now custom clearing agent needs his charges.
the inv from vendor with reference to PO is not received.
any solution to settle the custom clearing agent payments.
till the inv. from vendor not received custom agent payment is is pending.
what should be done to resolve this issue.Hi,
Copy one of your freight condition types and create a new condition type as custom clearing charges, please ensure that condition category is Delivery charges (B). In calculation schema enter this condition type at the appropriate position. Now when creating the PO, enter this condition type put the value, then select this condition type and go to details, here you will have a field to enter the vendor code, there key in the vendor code of custom clearing agent.
Now in MIRO enter PO no. and choose layout for Planned delivery cost, you can now enter the value for your agent and pay him.
Note: Please use this to pay only for service charge for the agent, for payment of custom duty you should use the condition type for custom duty and key in the vendor code for the customs clearing office there so that its easy to differentiate between custom duty and the service charges charged by clearing agent.

Hi All,
We have done the sso registration successfully , but sso login functionality is not working as expected.
Please provide some inputs to fix this issue.
Environment
We are on 11gR2 database for both OID and EBS 11.5.10.2.
OID version 11g on web logic server.
SSO server version is 10.1.4.3
In the front end it is showing the below error while login using the SSO URL.
"The Single Sign-On server registration is invalid. Please contact the System Administrator. "
When we run the below query in the backend (EBS R11 DB) it suppose to get the records without any error or it is suppose to show just “no rows selected”, but I got the “ORA-29275” error in the backend
Query: select FROM FND_USER_PREFERENCES WHERE USER_NAME = '#INTERNAL'*
and I ran the FND Log Query, found these messages..."END with errors for getSSOVerion"
Query--> select * from fnd_log_messages where module like '%fnd.sso.FNDSSOLoginRedirect%' order by timestamp desc;
out put:
MODULE,LOG_LEVEL,MESSAGE_TEXT,SESSION_ID,USER_ID,TIMESTAMP,LOG_SEQUENCE,ENCODED,NODE,NODE_IP_ADDRESS,PROCESS_ID,JVM_ID,THREAD_ID,AUDSID,DB_INSTANCE,TRANSACTION_CONTEXT_ID
fnd.sso.FNDSSOLoginRedirect,6,END with errors for getSSOVerion,-1,-1,7/7/2011 5:39:36 PM,16151017,N,agsos186,155.108.22.210,5161,8230:16210,Thread[Thread-17669,10,main],46984138,1,3762242
I have run the below mentioned steps to register the sso with EBS R11.
Registration Steps
txkrun.pl -script=SetSSOReg -registersso=Yes
txkrun.pl -script=SetSSOReg -registeroid=Yes -provtmp=$FND_TOP/admin/template/ProvBiDiNoCreation.tmp (Here basically I don’t want provision/create the users by default in EBS or OID). Even I tried default option its not working ( by default it provision /create in both places EBS and OID)
