Agentry - Filter values not readable

Hi,
I am having a Work Manager 5.3 installed on Android. On a List Tile View, I enabled the Filter option to allow users to narrow data using the built-in filter popup where you select the column, comparison method and filter value. In the popup, the values appear in black font on dark grey background.
Haven't found a place yet, where the colors to be used for that dropdown can be changed since it is a built-in popup. The selection lists for the columns and comparison method appear readable in black on light grey. It is only the values that appear different. See screenshot below:
Can someone help me out by pointing me to the right direction?

5 suggestions or ideas:
1) Work Manager 5.3 was released with an older version of Agentry. Did you try upgrading Server + Android Client + Editor to the latest?
2) Also did you try changing the theme of your Android to see if it makes a difference?
- Android bug ANDROID-2122 (Application's menu's popup menu does not match color scheme)
3) Try checking all the styles selection like Field Style "FieldLabel" and try setting "Default" background.
4) Due to you are using Android and not IOS there were a lot of color fixes in iOS that will be released in 6.0.40 tied to iOS7 filter dialog, and others. 6.0.40 still in QA today supposed to be released soon.
5) A few more color changes in SMP 3.0 area (Agentry 7'ish) tied to consistency.
Those are the only thing I know about colors and popup based on what I can see.
Hopefully 1 of them works for you.

Runtime filter values not showing

Hi all,
    I am on BW 3.5. I have a query that has a pop-up filter (i.e. a user-entry fillter that appears when the query runs) for 0MATERIAL__DIVISION. When the user uses the drop down on the filter pop-up for Division, no values appear. When the query actually appears, these divisions show up just fine. So my problem is not with the query, but in getting the values to appear in the drop down of the run-time filter pop-up. Why would that be?

       IN BI 7.0 at the side near the technical properties you have option facilities to display the filter values...
Go for F4 help on that variable at the side you will have an option to display filter values which shows history values
single values there you will have options to show all data in master data only posted for navigation
u can use master data option and get all values in master data.

Filter value not displaying

Hi all,
I have a issue with selecting the filter value for a unit.
The problem is I can find the value when I run the query in BEx, but same value is not displaying in webreport.
Can anyone tell me, what might be the problem.
(Actually I have to filter on a perticular unit value. In the masterdata I have 30 values.when I exicute the report in BEx I can find all 30 values.But when the same report in web I can see only 29 values)

You can display values& texts for variables using menu button where you can display the text elements.

ALV Filter - filter value not working / not passed to ALV

Hello,
My ALV is set in a quite nested landscape meaning at least two components and quite some views within views.
When now setting a filter in the filter bar, the entered value is not passed to the ALV. Whereas a filter set in the config menu of the ALV is working. (Also selections are lost with every roundtrip, but that is not the mayor issue.)
I created an event handler for the setting of the filter (event "ON_STD_FUNCTION_AFTE" -> ID "SALV_WD_FILTER_DEFINE") and checked the filter rules using this method: CL_SALV_WD_MODEL_TABLE_UTIL=>IF_SALV_WD_TABLE_UTIL_FIELDS~GET_FILTER_RULES( R_MODEL = LR_ALV_MODEL )
When creating a filter using the bar, no filter rule is recieved by the method. On the other hand, the method yields the rules correctly when they are set using the config menu.
Does anyone know why this happens?? I would very much appreciate your input!

With "config menu" I was referring to the "Settings" dialog of an ALV. There I can provide a filter value using the tab "Filter" and it is applied absolutely correct whereas values entered directly in the "Filter" row are not even passed to the ALV (see first post).

Evdre Set to Filter Values not Member

Hello.
I'm trying to create a nested EVDRE report to bring back percentages less than 5%. How could I code this, can I incorporate MDX within the memberset? Below is an example of what I tried out but it didn't seem to filter to only percentages equal or less than 5%.
Example:
Row Expansion 1
Drivers
Memberset = BAS(All Drivers)
Row Expansion 2
Product
Memberset = BAS,ALL AND (([Drivers].CurrentMember,[Product].CurrentMember) <> .05)

EVDRE doesn't support this. You have two options:
Use EVDRE, and then write some Excel VB to hide the rows whose values are less than your threshold.
Use the MDX-based row expansion options, which will filter on the server -- which may be a great performance boost, if this avoids retrieving to the client 5,000 records that you want to filter. A great example of this is in the ApShell dynamic report template called Sort and Rank. This is set up to let you choose top/bottom X%, Y records, or values under/over $Z threshold.
I'd recommend using the second one. It's quite flexible, and already built for you. This is pretty much the only situation where I do NOT use an EVDRE for a report.

Filter values not showing on iPad

Hi,
I have a BW query based universe (UNV) that is published to iPad. The WebI report runs fine in BI Launchpad. However, when I open same report on iPad, the prompt values are not show (I see only blank Blank Blank) and report is not executed. BW server is BW 7.3 BO is BO 4, SP2.
How do I fix this issue?

please can you tell me, if the open document function with refresh parameter is working in BO mobile App V 4.0.3 (Build 1211)?
In the Release notes for this Version it is described how to do this:
Open Document
1. Apart from iDocID, sIDType and sDocName, other document identifier parameters are not supported
in the OpenDoc URL.
2. Apart from sReportName, sRefresh, IsM[name] and IsS[name], other input parameters are
not supported in the OpenDoc URL.
3. Session management parameter (token) is not supported.
4. Output parameters are not supported in the OpenDoc URL.
We tried to use the following link, but the report did't refresh with the correct parameters:

Filter values are not displayed in the Popup Screen

Hi Gurus,
I have executed the query from the Query Designer using Execute to the browser and tried to filter the values for 0plant
Then i am getting the values as question mark '?????' for Key as well as Text.
Note: I am not getting the key values for any of the characteristics.... in any report...
Is there any setting need to done in BI or Portal side...
Please help me if any one got a similar issue....

The values in the BW are ok & i have activated the master data too..
I am getting all the filter values for the query in RSRT, but when i execute the same query to the browser i am getting the values as '????' in the filter...
Eg.
Plant Key Plant medium Text.....
but when i select a particular row and add the values i can see the data as below.
1901 Bhubaneswar Depot
Please let me know if any more information is needed.

List view error "Filter Value is not in a supported date format"

I've column "Name = Order Status","Type = Calculated" & Data Type = "Date and Time". I've given this Condition in the formula:- =IF(NOT([PO Date]=0),"ORDERED","NOT ORDERED"). I'm trying to create view
for this column but its getting error while create the view "Filter Value is not in a supported date format".
Same error I'm getting for column "Name = Status","Type = Calculated" & Data Type = "Number". I've given this Condition in the formula:- =IF([PO Date]="","",IF(NOT([Balance Qty]=0),"OPEN","CLOSED"))

Can you check data type returned for your calculated column 'Balance Qty'?
Try to set it as Number. It may help you.

Filter Values are not appearing in WAD

Dear Experts,
In WAD I have been used multiple Data Providers for a Report for the first Tab it is showing the Filter values and when I double click on it, it is showing the results in the report but in the second Tab Strip for another Data Provider I am able to see the Filter Values but when I double click on it, it is not showing the results in the Report.
FYI in BEx these Queries are working fine.
Could any one of you come across this issue if so plz give me the solution.

With filter values iam not able to see out put of a web report

I had a web report. for the webreport,data provider is Query. My requirement is to change the description of calculated KF. I have changed the description of Calculated KF in Query and transported it to Quality system. But when i execute the Web Report directly in web browser the changes in the description of calculated KF are shown. But when i execute through some URL with some filter values in the web template iam unable to find the changes.
Please help me on this.

i had a web template. For this web template query is the data provider. In my requirement i need to change the description of calculated key figure.
Calculated key fig: OED Disconnect
Change description of Calculated key figure from OED to IEG(IEG disconnect).
I have changed the calculated KF desc from OED to IEG in development and transported to quality system. i can even find the changes in query also.When i execute the web template built on query directly through browser iam able to see the change in the description of calculated KF.
But when i execute through some URL(http:// bwqa/sap/bw/pub?sap-language=EN&bsplanguage=EN&CMD=LDOC&TEMPLATE_ID=T_ECA_DTL_REPORT_BYUNIT&FILTER_IOBJNM_1=ZMREQCC&FILTER_VALUE_1=000001522&DATA_MODE=HYBRID) with some filters like filter_iobjnm_1= ZMREQCC and data mode = hybrid iam unable to find the changes in the calculated kf description.
But when i execute the url (http:// bwqa/sap/bw/pub?sap-language=EN&bsplanguage=EN&CMD=LDOC&TEMPLATE_ID=T_ECA_DTL_REPORT_BYUNIT) without filter values i can find the changes in the description of calculated KF.
Kindly update me why the changes are not reflecting when i use filters.

Filter Values for character in Filter not to display in WAD 3.5

Dear SDN's,
We built a query in BI 7.0.In the query we taken one character Material in Default Values and make Default values M1,M2,M3.
In default values we restricted Material with M1,M2,M3.
We created WAD for this query in WAD 3.5 version.And in the navigation block we taken this character under list of characters,and we have filter also for this WAD.
When we executed this WAD through browser,under Material filter it showing filter values as M1,M2,M3.
i.e Material drill down and values M1,M2,M3.
and below it showing the report correctly.
We doesnt want to display the values M1,M2,M3 next to material filter.It should be shown balnk.
I checked the properties of WAD,Filter,Navigation but not found.

Can't not update existing record filter value in java sdk.

If there is existing record filter, such as " {table.a_field} = {?paramA}"
Then can't update it to other value. e.g " {table.a_field} = value_A"
The flow is
1. Update paramA value
2. Update record filter value

Hi,
In uploading of flat file , If you are able to capture the changes to the previously loaded records, Then you can follow the additve delta. So it decreases the time of uploading .Only changed or new records will be uploaded every time.
If you are not able capture the changes in flat file ,Every time you have to do full upload ,Before this delete the contents of Infocube. (Assuming there is no ODS B/W Infocube and Flat file).

Select filter value..not opening..query hanging

Hi,
I have a queary and it is executing fine. After executing it is displaying data fine. I have company code and two more characterstics in free characterstics section. After executing the report i am doing right click at company code in the excel sheet and selecting the option 'select filter value'. It is then opening the small screen 'selection for company code' but it is not displaying the values. It's keep on running and after some time it is hanging (not responding).
In the company code object hardly there are 60 values. Can anyone tell me why this is taking long time and result in hanging for just 60 values?
This company code object is Authorisation relevant checked in the 'Business Explorer' tab. There is a variable used for this comopany code in the query design and this variable is processed by authorisation. But i dont think this is the reason for the issue. If this is the reason could you please tell me how it effects? Please suggest me the solution.

In the business explorer tab for which one you are asking to change the settings?
Is it for   'query def. filter value selection'
                          OR
             'query execution filter value selection'?
The current status is:
Query Def. filter value selection is 'values in Master data table'                 &
Query Execution filter value selection is 'only posted values for navigation'.
This is not cube but this is ODS. For ODS where do we set DB specfic settings?

Changing Filter Values from Macro in BW 7.0

in my Workbook I need to change Filter Values of some queries in runtime.
The first thing I found was BEx API reference for BW 3.5, but I wasn't able to make these functions work. After all I found this code:

But using this code I wasn't able to set more than 1 filter value, because the function SetFilterValue removes all previous filters, but now I need to set more than 1 filters.
I also tried to separate different filter values with comma, but this did not help.
Also I will be glad if someone could give me a link on documentation about BEx objects in Excel.

PerformancePoint in SharePoint 2010 - Unable to get filter values from... Error 10828

I currently am using PPT to expose data from a Microsoft Analysis Server cube. The cube is wide open and requires no permissions to access.
The behavior of my filters is odd as sometimes they work perfectly fine, and other times I receive the following error upon report run:
Unable to get filter values.
An unexpected error occurred. Error 10828. Additional details have been logged for your administrator.
I have looked at the ULS logs and found the following:
An unexpected error occurred. Error 10828. Exception details: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at Microsoft.PerformancePoint.Scorecards.Server.PmServer.QueryTimeIntelligenceInternal(DataSource dataSource, DateTime currentTime, String formula)
at Microsoft.PerformancePoint.Scorecards.Server.PmServer.QueryTimeIntelligence(RepositoryLocation dataSourceLocation, DateTime currentTime, String formula)
An exception occurred while rendering a Web control. The following diagnostic information might help to determine the cause of this problem: Microsoft.PerformancePoint.Scorecards.BpmException: Unable to get filter values. PerformancePoint Services
error code 20700.
This is odd to me, as I can trick the report to run by changing the date filters to another day, then back to the original days that error'ed out and everything is fine. Some guidance would be appreciated.

Do you mean that you have Office 2007 and Office 2010 both installed in you computer?
Based on my test, I copy a Access 2010 database into a computer only installed Offic 2007, then using Excel 2007 to import Access database data, no error occurred.
So double click the Access database to see whether the databased is opened with Access 2007 or Access 2010. If it is opened with Access 2010, then try to save it as Access 2007 to
check the issue.
