Aggregated planning in SNP...almost there but need more guidance...

Gurus,
I am working on Aggregated SNP for our company.
1. I have created a Loc Prod hierarchy. The hierarchy has 1 real Location under a pseuso Location and has 6 real products under pseudo header product. It looks like the screenshot below.
2. I do not have a PPM hierarchy or a Resource hierarchy
3. I run the Location heuristic for the header AGG_MFIBER@ Location 1010. I get the correct Pl orders for the header product. The Source Determination is set to Only Sub level.
4. I am able to disaggregate the header values to the sub-products fine.
5. But when I look at the Planned orfders for the sub products I see that there is no source of supply even though I have the PPMs for them.
Do I need to create a PPM hierarchy and then disaggregate it for the system to get the lower level PPMs?
I will work on it next week but if I can get some help it will save me a great deal of time.
Thanks in advance,
Subash

Hi Cyrille,
How are you? It has been long....
This may end up in a long exchange....
1. I struggled for sometime before I was able to set up the LOC Hier and PROD Hier and generate the LOCPROD Hier, as my screenshots show.
2. I was able to run SNP for AGG_MFIBER and then disaggregate it to sub products. That is when I found the source of supply issue. I saw that the Header product did not have a SOS and created an SNP PPM manually. This is just after I posted the message.
3. After that I tried to create a SNP PPM Hierarchy. I was able to add AGG_MFIBER to level for header PPM. After that I added all the sub products in the above LOCPROD Hierarchy and was able to save the same. I went to the edge table /SAPAPO/RELDHPPM and saw 57 entries.
4. After that I ran SNP for AGG_MFIBER with Source Determination at 'Only Sublevel', the system created planned orders to cover the requirements but it still did not pick up the source of supply for AGG_MFIBER.
5. Then I changed the Source Determination from 'Only Sublevel' to 'Only Header level' and executed SNP. This time it put ONE planned order only for the header material in the second period but it did pick up the Source of Supply.
Still trying to understand the logic...
Any ideas here as I try to get further...
Thanks again,
Subash

  • Home share almost there, but need HELP!

I have one Win7 laptop and one XP laptop.  Setup home share on each (share is setup on both computers, authorized both, same local net).  XP laptop sees the other computer's share and when I click on it I see the songs/files just as expected.  However, on the Win7 I can see share name of the XP computer but when I click on it, it does not show anything only acts like its loading then positions the cursor back on the music tab.  nothing showing under the share.
Any ideas?  I've turned off my virus protection (Security Essentials), rebooted, stopped and started the share, plugged directly into my router.....no change.
I was previsouly on version 9+ on both systems and it did not work and now I'm on the latest version of Itunes for both systems.
    Help!

However, on the Win7 I can see share name of the XP computer but when I click on it, it does not show anything only acts like its loading then positions the cursor back on the music tab.  nothing showing under the share.
Hmmmm. Experimental advice, but perhaps have a check through the following document. (In principle, a LSP issue might stuff up Home Sharing, although I've not met an example of it in the wild yet.)

I have used the Disk Utility to rparir files and rest Safari. I have deleated Firefox then downloaded a fresh version, still the same error messages ! Please help it's driving me nutts.

    Perky --
You do not need any "Cleaner" app for Macs.  I would not be at all surprised if that didn't actually damage your Mac, especially if it were MacDefender. Applejack is OK, but I'm not sure what it erased.  Do you know?
You also don't need any Virus Barrier.  That could also mess things up.
The fact that all of your browsers are now messed up indicates that it is not a Safari problem, but more system-wide.

I have the latest Mozilla Firefox 19.0.2 but the newest version of Yahoo Mail don't work, what can' i do?

your useragent (the information the browser sends to websites to identify its version) go overwritten probably by some sort of toolbar/adware. please refer to this article in order to reset the user-agent settings in firefox: [[Websites say that Firefox is outdated or incompatible even though it's the latest version]]

  • Almost there! Need a little help with CSS Menu

    Hi folks,
I am almost there with a menu system.  The problems I discovered were mostly to do with layout.css nav elements interfering with my custom code.   http://bendannie2.businesscatalyst.com/flexi2.html
Here are the problems I can't seem to resolve.
There appears a red diamond list element and I can't seem to remove it or find it in the Inspector on any css link
the secondary menus blink and are hard to select on hover over tertiary menus (see On Sale>Cartier> )
the tertiary menus are a little crowded towards the secondary menus.
the css classes in inspector seem to repeat ad infinitum
    Any help most deeply appreciated...
BTW, it works better on a smart phone!
    Jeff

Thanks, Don't know why I didn't see that...
I'm stil having a problem with the hover area for selecting sub menus... The problem appears to be the js, I think!, I'm not qualified to analyze jquery.
    The behaviors are as follows:
The On Sale submenus stay active even when you roll off that menu and select another.
The hover area after the first scrollover appears to be below the existing text of the top level and not on the text itself.
there is something going on as you scroll down  through the submenus where they are blinking on and off as you pass each sub tab...   This uses jQuery 1.7.2, so if that has been fixed in a later edition, I don't know...
Perhaps it is the way I set the CSS but I didn't, to my knowledge, change a hover/selection area for the menus...
    TIA,
    JEff

  • Almost there, still need email php help!

    Hey there everyone,
I posted my issue earlier but the thread seems to be dead.  I have been researching php syntax and looked at some other examples online, and I think I almost have it.  I just need a little extra assistance to get there.
I had my php page partially working earlier, and I was receiving emails from my form submission, but all the data I got was subject and phone number.  I didn't get my thank you page to come up either.  My form has fields for name, email, phone, 3 comment fields and 3 reference fields.  Not sure why I wasn't getting all of the data so I tried redoing my code.
Now, after redoing the code, I get my thank you page to come up, but I don't get any email notification with the submitted data anymore.  I am not sure why.  I had some code syntax errors but I fixed them through process of elimination and I have no syntax errors now.
Would someone be able to take a look at my files and tell me what I am doing wrong?  I am always ready to put in work and test through trial and error, but I just am not sure where to start.  I am so close!!!
Thanks for reading and for any advice, I really appreciate it!
    Jayson

David, thank you!  It works!  You are my new hero!
Well, through it all I learned a lot about syntax, headers, form security, etc etc  Very helpful!  Even learned about bare LF's lol.
I am trying to also have the thank you page redirect to the manufacturer's page after 5 seconds, and I did some reading about redirect code through meta and php.  Not sure if it matters which one I use, and I am also confused about where to put it.
    These are what I found:
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5; URL=thankyou.htm">
    </head>
    <?php
    header("refresh: 5; thankyou.htm";
    ?>
If I use the meta tag, does it go directly in the code on the thank you page?  And if I use the pgp code, where does that go?  I tried it but the page was having trouble redirecting.
Thanks again for all of your help, and if you feel generous enough to help me with this too I would really appreciate it!
    Jayson

  • [SOLVED] Almost there just need a global progress bar

    Heya,
There's no man page for bar so I have looked at the code a bit. I am trying to have a progress bar to copy a folder with many files including symbolic links (unfortunately pycp does not support them yet). With the -s parameter, I can specify the approximate size of what I am copying but it works only if it is a single file.
I have also tried pv, pipemeter, orphan advcp, ecp, scp and I am now desperate.
Would someone be kind enough to help me ?

Also, if you use DW CS5 click on Live Code and Live View. Then when clicking on the menu items in Live View, watch the changes in classes that occur. This mifgt give you a clue of what to do.

  • Embedded or in-line web page in mail!  Almost there but not quite.

I have successfuly made a small web page in GoLive ( one small images, an animation GIF and a short block of text to act as an extended signature) then rendered/ viewed the page in Safari and everything looks OK at this stage. Then from file menu gone to 'Mail contents of this page' which of course opens the Mail.app and I can then see the images and text embedded into the mail and not as an attachment.
Sending to myself it works fine so that when I receive it the images appear as part of the message but send out to others and they just see ? marks in blue boxes.
What have I missed. Is there something I need to put into the header?

Which options do you see enabled and which greyed out in the bottom part of the View > Message menu? If Best Alternative or Next Alternative are enabled, does choosing them fix the problem?
There is a hidden setting that makes Plain Text the preferred alternative for viewing messages. Maybe something has caused that setting to be turned ON, in which case you might be able to fix the problem by turning it OFF.
Open /Applications/Utilities/Terminal, type the following command (you can just copy it here and paste it in Terminal), and press <Return>:
defaults write com.apple.mail PreferPlainText -bool FALSE
Alternatively, you could issue the following command to revert to the default setting (which should accomplish the same, since the default is to not prefer Plain Text):
    defaults delete com.apple.mail PreferPlainText

  • My admin password stopped working. Can't restart in recovery and tried terminal but need more specific guidance there. Am operating macbook from external drive

My macbook pro admin password has stopped working.  Can't start it in recovery mode and am having no success with terminal command although I could do with more in depth instruction on that.  Have been operating it from an external drive (Yosemite) for 3 months after a stuck reinstall of mavericks and it was working fine till last week.  I am currently downloading another copy of Yosemite with a view to trying to install it on my internal hard drive which has been erased.  Help

    Hey JustSomeGuy,
Thanks for the response. It is the external drive that has the data I need to keep. Reboot did not do it...
What I did get done just now is going into Safe Mode and delete the problematic files there and Empty Trash. That worked - so one step closer hopefully. I did not do the .DS Store files (will do that after done writing this).
How do I do a copy with cp rather than the finder?
Repair permissions is grayed out in DiskUtil - I did do a Disk Repair in Safe Mode and that turned up without error. However, now back in normal mode - Disk Repair gives an error again saying that the drive cannot be unmounted.
Thanks for the help so far.
    Cheers

  • Installing Murrina - Almost there but ...

... I get an error when I start something:
/home/akejo/.themes/Murrina-Blu/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:57: Murrine configuration option "squaredstyle" is not supported and will be ignored.
    The steps I've done is:
Download the theme engine and its arch PKGBUILD from http://cimi.netsons.org/pages/murrine/themes.php. I built the package and installed it, then logged out and in again.
I downloaded some of the themes and placed them in ~/.themes/
The panel looks ok, the colours and so on. The menu also looks neat.
I am not sure what this error means, as I haven't used Murrina themes earlier. It might be the window borders as those I can't find anywhere(If they exist..) when I choose themes in 'Window Manager'.
I'd appreciate any tips, hint or pointers on this one.
    Thanks in advance.

Cimi wrote:It's a debug message when theme (gtkrc) you have installed is using squaredstyle, which is deprecated.
The option is simply ignored (it is parsed by the engine but ignored to avoid crashes)
    Thanks.
I thought it had something to do with window decorations, as I can't get the window decoration to show as its done on the screenies on the murrina site, I can just use the standard ones in the list and Murrina is nowhere to be found...
Then I can ignore that message but for the window deco's... Search continues

  • Password limit almost reached but need to save data

My wifes phone has locked up on her. She has put in her password 9 times, and because the "o" is not working and is part of her password, if she puts it in one last time and it isnt accepted its gonna be wiped.
I hasn't been synced with any of the computers we have in our house. If i try to sync it to the computer to acces some info that is only on the phone, will I be able to retrieve it or will I lose everything?

If, when you tether to the PC, you enter the password correctly via the PC keyboard, then the counter will reset back to 0 and you will be able to take that backup. If you are not successful when you tether, then it will wipe clean. The counter is the same regardless of entry via the BB keyboard or the PC keyboard (when tethered).
    Good luck!

  • Solaris 10 x86 is impressive but needs more h/w support

I know what you're thinking, another hardware support gripe. :)
First of all, I'd like to say that despite not being able to use my network card, view DVDs, use my sound card or laser printer with Solaris 10, I am extremely impressed with the professional GUI design and the ease of use of its interface. It puts some so-called GUIs in Linux to shame, bigtime. It actually feels like a professional O/S instead of a hacker's-throw-together O/S like some Linux distributions I've seen (no offense to volunteers in the linux community, but I did have to pay money for some popular distributions quite some years ago. I expected more for my money at the time).
Considering I got Solaris 10 for free (along with Star Office), I consider it a veritable steal that was worth the download time and the five burnt cds (companion cd too). If linux didn't exist and I had a little more money, I definitely would have invested in a complete hardware supported system to run Solaris 10 perfectly (even buy an ultrasparc if I had to :) ). Maybe one day.
Since my juvenile 7-hour a night game-playing days are over, there is very little motivation other than hardware support for me to consider using Windows XP. If all my current hardware worked under Solaris 10, I wouldn't be dual booting with Windows XP anymore. It seems like I'll have to give Linux another chance until Solaris 10 receives more support. I'm not planning on upgrading to any other future O/Ses offered by Microsoft. I paid enough of my money and security update download time in that direction.
In terms of what I've seen so far of Solaris 10 and considering that there is supported hardware available to do anything you need to get done, I applaud Sun for their excellent work and give them my 10. If I ever learn enough assembler to write device drivers for Solaris 10, I may put in my 2 cents as far as helping out with h/w support as well.

First of all, I'd like to say that despite not being
able to use my network card, view DVDs, use my sound
card or laser printer with Solaris 10, I am extremelySound Drives for just about anything are found here:
    http://www.opensound.com/
Drivers for some less common or fairly new networking here:
    http://homepage2.nifty.com/mrym3/taiyodo/eng/
DVDs, well, technically that's illegal in most countries without licensed software. You can thank the people behind software patents for that. However, I have played DVDs on my system, but it wasn't pretty getting it working, in the end I removed it and have relegated all DVD playback to that famous Toy OS since Surround Sound, etc. support is far better there.
    10. If I ever learn enough assembler to write device
drivers for Solaris 10, I may put in my 2 cents as
far as helping out with h/w support as well.I don't know of any drivers written for modern operating systems in assembler, they're almost always written in C. Sometimes they may contain assembler, but that's not the guts of them.

  • Saying iPhone has free memory, but needs more to sync?

My iPhones always been full. When the last update came around (iOS 8.1.2) I had to take off my music so I could update my phone, and then put it back on. But it said I needed alot more memory than I did before so I deleted a load of apps to make room for my music.
Ever since then, when I plug in my phone the bar at the bottom says I have free space (currently it's at 1.68GB) but when I try to sync my phone to add only 10 songs it says it can't add the items I'm trying to add as additional space is required (currently 27mb).
How is it I can have all that free space but not have enough to add 10 songs.
I'm getting tired of having to find music I don't want on my phone any more to make room for the new stuff. And I can't delete any more apps as I use all the ones on there =\
    So can anyone help please?

You generally get that error code on a jailbroken phone ?
If it is Jailbroken then I am afraid you will get no help here.
