Aggregator suddenly doesn't play all of the projects after updates
I finished an aggregator project, checked it, etc. It was working fine. Then I downloaded some Adobe updates (Flash, Shockwave, Flash Player and Captivate 5), next thing I know, people are telling me that the project no longer works. I open it up, test it, and the files from the 3rd on won't start. They can be accessed from the Table of Contents, but they don't play. The playbar either doesn't move, or jumps back after a second. Nothing was changed in the files, I checked for pauses, Preferences options, nothing is set to pause/restrict playback. Also, the 3rd file's skin shows options that were unchecked. You can't move the playbar or skip ahead, but you can go back or forward to the other "frozen" files using the TOC.
Another wierd thing is that sometimes when I reopen the browser, it starts from the 1st frozen file and the TOC doesn't work at all. The swfs play fine when tested individually. I ended up having to make separate .exe files and linking them. Problem with this is that we need the htmls and when they are programed to open another project at the end, the original project doesn't close. Because of the nature of our work, we need one file to move on to the other without creating clutter of multiple browser windows open.
If anyone has encountered this, I would really appreciate some help. I have checked/changed internet settings, trusted site settings, system restored to before the updates, but nothing. I even had a co-worker republish the files from his non-updated computer and it still doesn't work.
You said you updated Flash player. What major and minor version number did you update to?
Were these projects originally created in Captivate 5 or an earlier version (e.g. Cp4)?
When the files don't play at all, what do you see? Is it a black screen?

I purchased a whole cd in itunes but it doesn't play all of the song.
It will play like 30sec-1min of it then skip to the next one. It does this on about 4-5 of the songs on the cd. I didn't realize it did this until after i bought them and then burned them onto a cd and was listening to it in the car and it started not playing all of the songs. I got back on itunes on my pc to check and see what was going on and it's doing it to the songs on there as well so it wasn't something that happened while they were being burned onto the cd. I'm new to itunes so i'm not sure if there's something i've not done. Any ideas?
Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the corrupt tracks from your iTunes library, close and then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

Premiere Pro is not reading all of the video content in my AVCHD clip. I know this because my computer plays all of the content through Preview, so the information is on the card. How do I get Premiere to read all of the content?
First, AVCHD isn't just "one" clip, it splits the video & audio into several files each per clip, typically with randomly generated names. The only way they "play" correctly is if the software doing so is able to read from the data file ...in a different folder ... the information that X clip is actually A, B, D, #@, and 456 video clips and TR, #r54, and ert$%4 audio clips. The next "clip" is ... and on and on. So both rapid access to the video files AND that database file are necessary to play the files back, or do anything else with them.
VLC is a fairly decent but simple playback tool. It's nowhere near as complicated nor demanding in its "relationship" with those clips as an NLE like PrPro, which will be trying to do more reading & writing.
Further, many of the preferences in PrPro are natively set so that it writes project, cache, preview, & database files next to the footage. So ... if it doesn't have both a fast enough connection with the data AND space for putting all of it's own stuff there, it tells you it can't work the file.
Therefore ... the need to have the complete data from the card in the exact same folder structure it was in ON the card copied to a "local" hard drive.

ATV doesn't show iTunes playlists and doesn't play them using the Remote app

Using ATV3 with the latest software version and it is connected to the iTunes library (also latest version) on my Mac Mini.
When I go to Computers on the ATV I can see the content of the iTunes and am able to play both Music and Vidoes however I don't see the playlists on iTunes there. On the ATV configuration it is configured to Show playlists -> All but still no Playlists appearing at the top of my movie and TV show listings section.
When I connect to the ATV using the Remote app on the iPhone and go to Computers there I do see the playlists but unable to play the ones with Vidoes just music.
Any ideas what would cause these problems...?log into my library through more > computers where? on the Remote? This is exactly what i'm doing, I can see the content of my library there but I can't play movies from there.

I find the solution for the iphone problems,this way my iphone turned to a secondary phone,I will use as an emergency phone ,this is not a smartphone!Got it replaced last week. Turns out the dock was defective.

CC 2014 trial. MPEG MOVIE clips flickering on my time line! after render, and after export. tried all kinds of sequence settings,taking out transitions and effects ,even the audio tracks.....still flickering. They play fine outa the project files!? HELLLLLPPPPP!!!!
We can not see your computer, your settings or even know what your source files are because we are not in the same room as you are!
We cant see what you are doing wrong ...so you will have to tell us a lot more and show us some screen grabs of your settings. -

I can't find a list of all of my apps in location services. It doesn't list all of the apps like fios tv remote that I want to use location services for. I mean it doesn't list any of the apps that aren't the factory presets. How can I turn on location services for these apps?
or settings/general/restrictions then under privacy tap on location services. scroll down and it will list apps and whether this service is on/off for particular apps

I uploaded music in the match and when i want to play it in my phone, some of the tracks appear blocked (blanked) and a few not. When I'm connected in a wi fi spot, I can play all of the tracks. Help please.
Hi,
You need a wifi connection to stream. Previously played tracks appear in a temporary cache which allows them to be played again when yOu have no wifi..
You can either predownload selected tracks or use cellular data.

Movie 11 will not play any of the projects I have created over the past several months. It will play iMovie events. Anyone else having this problem? Please help - Thanks

I just got back from the Apple Store for the second visit with the Mac Genius to try to resolve the problem.
First visit we trashed the iMovie 11 application and reinstalled iMovie and ran a software update. Upon relaunching we were pleased that all projects and events ran perfectly from both the HD and the Drobo.
After lugging my 27" iMac back home and restarting it the same problem appeared. I returned to the Apple store for a second visit. This time I left the iMac at the store overnight. The apple service guys were able to duplicate the problem and wiped my hard drive. There appears to be a bug with iMovie 11 (not confirmed) and an elevated report was submitted to Apple engineers.
I am leaving my "old" projects and events on the external drive unless I need to import them. I am not going to restore from back up and will use a "clean" version of iMovie11. No guarantees the problem won't come back. This issue consumed a TON of my time.... hopefully Apple can fix iMove11. -
"All of the playlists for updating no longer exist"???!!
I created a few new playlists and deleted an old one in iTunes, and then when I plugged in my mini to update I get the message:
Songs on the iPod Kellee's iPod cannot be updated because all of the playlists for updating no longer exist"

Why do people delete playlists?? Seems like you have the same problem someone I tried to help has. She got the exact same error message when she deleted a playlist. If I were you I would have shifted some songs around, changed the name of the playlist to something else but NOT deleted the playlist. I don't think you can get the same playlist back once you delete it. Question is why is your iPod not recognizing your new playlists and it's requesting to update the playlist you already deleted?? I'm afraid I can't help you but maybe someone else can. I just wanted to say this. -

So you have business contacts that were lost... do you not have these on a Database in some shape or form? Sounds like you need to invest in a RAID1 backup setup for your computer so you dont have this issue in the future.
As for repairing your problem, sounds like you are going to need to start from scratch at this point or if the data is still on your phone look into a program that can take the information from the phone onto iTunes. -
I followed all of the directions after seeing that my laptop flashed the folder with the question mark. But when I went to disk utility to repair/ verify issues w/ start up disk it would not allow me to. The buttons to repair and modify we're there but they were grey and couldn't be pressed.
Were you trying to repair the disk you were booted from? You can't do that - you need to boot from your install disk, and choose 'Disk Utility' from the 'install' menu.
