AGR_1016: More than one profile linked to a role

Hi,
We have a role wich contains several profiles in table AGR_1016. The name of such profiles are sequential number based on the original profile (XXXXXX1, XXXXXX2, XXXXX3 etc).
Why is the reason for having many profiles linked to a unique role? Which action in the system generated the different entries in table AGR_1016?
We do know that the princial / original profile is inserted once we generate the role in PFCG. But what about the sequential entries?

Yes this is possible with large roles. When the number of authorizations exceeds a set number , profile generator will create additional profiles. You will notice that there is a sequential number at the end of the profile name for the additional roles.
Maximum no. of profile that can be assigned is 312.
Max of 150 auth can fit into a profile. if there are more than 150 auth, an additional profile is generated. It has the same profile name (first 10 charaters) last digits are used as counter (0 to 99)

Users have more than one profile for the same role

As I said in my earlier post I'm rather new to SAP.
I'm doing now the security audit of my SAP system. In particular, I'm checking whether business users have access to DEBUG functionality.
I have run report 'Users by complex selection criteria' and found certain number of such users. Then I looked further and discover that all these users have role X assigned to them. The profile P2 of the role X displayed in PFCG has DEBUG functionality deactivated. After second look I discovered that all these users have earlier profile P1 for the same role X assigned to these users. This profile P1 contains the functionality in question.
I solved the issue by revoking the role X from the users and assigning it again. Both P1 and P2 profiles were removed from the users and only P2 was reassigned again.
I used to think that role may have only the profile that is displayed in PFCG? Also, I used to think that if the role profie is regenerated the newly generated profile automatically replace the old one assigned to users. Am I wrong?

In simple and short ..
Role contains authorization objects..
Maximum limit of authorization objects for a role is 150 .
So a role can accommodate 150 authorization objects.
New Profile ABC is created , when ever you create a new role. 1-1 relation.
But if a role has more than 150 authorization objects .. then automatically a new profile ABC01 will be created and it will also be aligned to that role .
if role has 400 auth objects, then profiles will be ABC ,ABC01 ,and ABC02

Email links do NOT open if Firefox more than one profile

Using OpenSUSE 12.2. If I have more than one profile for Firefox, say Profile1="default", and Profile2="mywife" then links in Thunderbird won't open in Firefox 18 or 19 when Firefox is Default Browser. However if I erase one of the profiles (any one of them) then Firefox starts behaving normally.
Other browsers, Chromium or Chrome do handle thunderbird links appropiately.
I have seen that many people seem to have a similar problem. I am writing this hoping it could help developers to eliminate the bug.

Thank you very much, cor-el, but no, my command-line looks this simple: "firefox -P default" or "firefox -P AnaMaria" (that's my wife's). In past times when I clicked on a link in Thunderbird (using 2 firefox profiles) firefox ProfileManager window would pop up. But now it doesn't appear any more. Firefox just starts with one of the profiles. Some times it starts with a completely new profile. It is baffling!...

Can you have more than one profile open at once in FF 4?

I'm having problems with Profiles but if I can't have more than one profile open at once then I guess that's why.

Thanks, but I just found out about Tab Groups and I think I'll stick with them as they seem to be designed to solve my problem in an economical way. If I'm wrong please let me know!

More than one web link in a Business Event

Hi SAP experts,
Having created a web link in a business event I was very pleased with myself. Now I find that I would like to add up to two more (different) web links for the same Business Event. There does not seem to be an obvious option to do this. I have tried the route of Create->Create Attachment and Create->Create External Document. These actions subsequently apear in the Attachments List but are not visible to users in the Employee Self Service.
The SAP manual hints that more than one web link should be possible (it refers to 'web links' several times). However in the manual I have, there is no guidance on how to make multiple web links in a Business Event.
Is it possible? What's happening with the 'Attachments' that have been created? Should all the desired documents to be viewed be bundled into one document and then given the one, allowable web link? Is this the thickest question asked on this forum?

Yes, of course - that's the whole point, to provide syncing of data such as calendars, contacts and email between computers and iOS devices. Having got iCloud up and running on one computer, simply sign all other devices in at System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud with the same login. (Lion 10.7.2 and iOS5 are the minimum requirements.)

Can I create more than one URL link in a single Flash (SWF) file?

I created a simple SWF slideshow in Flash with 5 slides. I was able to link one URL to the whole file by adding an alpha button.
What I can't figure out is how to add a URL link to each slide. The SWF file i sused on a website and I would like to be able to click on a particular slide as it is playing to go the a site or page that applies to that slide.

You cannot duplicate instance names or function names, so you'll need to create unique names for each one that behaves differently. So you can only have one function named "mouseClick"... if you want to have another function to link somewhere else you need to create a new name for that function ("mouseClick2" would work)
There are alternate approaches, but for now this will be the easiest for you to deal with.

Can I have more than one profile on my iTunes account?

My wife and I share our iTunes account because we share our home computer. Our problem lies in each of us having separate devices, I have an iPhone5, she has an iPad. How can we each have individual gamecenter accounts? It's become an issue now, because we both can't play Clumsy Ninja because we have the same profile.

You will need seperate AppleIDs to do that, but Game Center and other functions requiring AppleIDs can be signed into seperately (i.e. you can continue using the same ID for itunes and app store purposes, but different IDs for Game Center, icloud, etc.).

More than one profile opens slows down machine

Hi, I have a strange problem that has only started in the last month or so.
Firstly - Mac Pro, 2008, ATY,RadeonX1900 512mb, 9mb Ram, 2 x 2TB HD, 1 x 1TB, 1 x 750, 2TB HD's are new and have fitted to improve speed as only have 10g free before and assumed that was problem, also increased Ram from 5mb to 9mb. Machine had been running very slowly but upgrades have dealt with it on the whole.
Overall speed of machine is great with single profie open, AVIs play fine and dont see the spinning wheel
The moment both profiles are logged in then AVI's keep freezing, irrespective of playing software and spinning wheel appears when trying to load web etc, these are just a few examples of slowdown. The only way I can unfreeze AVIs is to drag the mouse into the corner that I have set to show all windows, this also makes the web pages load and gets rid of spinning wheel.

Clone the system to your fastest drive, and partition the drive to a 300-400GB partition for the OS, and forget the rest of the drive.
Boot drive should be OS and apps and just mini home folder
all the data, media, etc should reside on other drives
some would raid0 the 2 x 2TB for a large fast media volume
Ideal in boot drive would be 120GB SSD, or for same $$ even a huge 2-3TB drive using 1/4 of its capacity.
(ps: dust on the X1900? pull it out regularly? run smcfancontrol 2.2.x to boost air flow and cooling / an ATI 5770 is a nice replacement upgrade too)
And on FBDIMMs: 4 x 2GB or 4 x 4GB are the best ideal in memory bandwidth and performance, not 6 dimms, and if you use 8 DIMMs then 8 x 2GB

Why can't I have more than one iTunes linked t my iPod

I have Macs for years, all sorts, I currently actively use, iMac g417,iMac g5 20, iMac intel 24. G4 Mac Mini,Intel Mac Mini, G5 tower, G4 Tower, powerbook g4 and mac book. Yes I know but I work from home with Mac all day...
I have thousands of songs, all legal, I'm old and have huge CD collection.. I have them spread around the Macs.
I want to add different playlist from different iTunes to my iPod, just want to drag and drop. Don't care about iTunes store, my CD, my Macs, My iTunes, My Ipod, Not pirating any thing here, WHY CAN I NOT SIMLY DO THIS. I'm forced to go with another player that does not have these retrictions

Hi Dean, I have no problems using my iPod simultaneously with my notebook and desktop (iBook G4 & iMac G5). All you need to do is un-check the "sync" iPod with iTunes box, or check manually manage music... whatever it is. As long as you are manually managing everything, it should not give you any problems. You can drag and drop to your heart's content! A few notes: MP3 CD's... are amazing, because you don't actually have to import them to your computer, you can just drag and drop the tunes onto your iPod. It might be to your advantage to back up your music libraries on MP3 CD's, the initial process is slightly tedious, but well worth it because you can always create CD's in the future if necessary and free up GB of your hard drive (I'm sure you already thought of this though, you sound pretty savvy.) The ONLY problem I do encounter is sometimes the iTunes on my G5 will just close on me. The trick is to only MANAGE the music from the initial iTunes regardless of where you ADD music from... if that makes sense. P.S. I am using the newest iPod Video 80GB, I don't know if that will make a difference or not, but both my sisters have different Nano's and they work the same way that mine does.

Can I install more than one configurator profile

I want to develop 3 or maybe 4 layers of iPad iOS8 restrictions & Passcode rules.
For example ALL iPads will have enforced Passcode rules, but only SOME iPads ill require content filtering & SOME require Control centre in lock mode.
The actual working groups of iPads require a lot more complicated set of config elements - above is only an example.
I'd like to create & install different profiles & INSTALL MORE THAN ONE PROFILE.
I have tested this on a few iPads & it seems to work.
My question is - Is this the recommended way / is there a problem if i install more that one profile ?

We install many configuration profiles on each of our devices. We only use one payload per configuration profile so that we can be very granular with our configurations. What I don't know is what would happen if you installed 2 configuration profiles with conflicting restrictions (i.e. one configuration profile allows Messages, and another does not allow Messages). We just make sure we install only one restrictions configuration profile, and then a bunch of other configuration profiles (mail and calendar settings, web clips, WiFi profiles, etc) on each device.

As I travel around the world I want to install a VPN ( my companies uses a VPN but it is only for work) so I can visit blocked sites. When I install the VPN it want to change the profile. Can I have more than one profile on the iPad or will the VPN overwrite the Lotus Notes profile?

More than one Facebook profile in iPhoto?

I was wondering if it's possible to have more than one Facebook profile linked with iPhoto 11. I can't seem to find any information on it anywhere. If it's not possible then the family friendly aspect of iLife is somewhat lacking if you can only have one Facebook profile in there to share photos.

You could create a new user account on your Mac and link that account's library to a different Facebook profile - I think. And use fast user switching to quickly and easily change accounts on the Mac. I don't do Facebook so am guessing here.
