Agree to terms & conditions option in pdf form

Hi, I'll start by giving you some background to the job.
I have created a layout using inDesign CS5 and imported it into Acrobat Pro 9. I have then used 'form editing' to produce a form that can be filled in and the FDF data emailed back when a 'send' button is clicked. All works fine!
The client has now asked if it is possible to have a way of agreeing to their terms and conditions before the data is emailed back.
I am hoping to do one of the following this to achieve this:
A popup window that comes up when the 'send' button is pressed that the customer will have to agree to before the FDF data can be emailed back.
The 'send' button is greyed out until a box it ticked agreeing to the T&Cs, similar to those you find on many websites.
I've searched the web and found nothing. Does anyone know if this is something that can be done?
Many thanks
James

  • How to provide terms & conditions option while installing an AIR application

    Hi
    I have an AIR application which is developed using flex SDK. I have got an requirement that when the user tries to install the AIR application, I need to display the terms & conditions details. If the user accepts the terms & conditions, it need to be install the application. Is it possible to do?
    And also i need to set the expiration date (i.e. trial period) so the application gets expired on the specified date in the user's machine. I am not sure whether these two things are possible? Please advice.
    Thanks

    Hi Douglas,
    Thanks very much (and to Chris) for getting back to me.
    I attached a zip file that is a small 'hello world' AIR application that I
    compiled using FlashBuilder 4, configured to use the 4.1 sdk. I also
    attached the self-signed certificate I used when exporting the release
    build. The password for this is dogdish. This application gives the error
    messages I indicated in my post when attempting to install on the Mac where
    the AIR runtime is not yet installed.
    We recently upgraded from FlexBuilder 3 to FlashBuilder 4, which I believe
    is when this issue started. I followed the instructions for doing a side-car
    installation and had no problems with either Mac or Windows when using
    FlexBuilder 3.
    Thanks for any help you can provide!

  • Problems with agreeing to "Terms & conditions have changed"

    I cann't update my apps because of the change in the terms and conditions. In the relevant screen there isn't any place to click for confirmation!!! How can I solve this problem?

    If you are doing this from your iPhone, you may not get a button that will allow you to accept (even after scrolling through the 54 pages...ugh!) You might try this...
    I just talked to Tech Support and after a whole slew of restoring and other nonsense, a higher level tech guy had me go through iTunes and download a free app. I was able to approve the T&C on my iMac. From this point, he had me download a free app from my iPhone. I didn't have any problem from this point on.

  • HT4623 Went thro upgrading process for my mini ipad from version iOS 6 to iOS 7.At the end came to Terms & Condition section which prompted options "Agree" or "Disagree" at the bottom but on touching "Agree" there is no response at all & the ipad is unres

    Tried to upgrade my mini iPad from its  original iOS 6 version to iOS 7. All nearly completed but I can't get past the "iCloud Terms & Conditions" & "Privacy Policy" page as prompting to "Agree" or even "Disagree" at the bottom of the page does not let the iPad progress (or even backtrack) to any other display!
    I can actually see the GHOST PAGE titled "Find My iPad in iOS 7" concealed partially below the "Terms & Conditions" page.
    Since touch-prompting "Agree" on "Tems & Conditions" page failed to get any response,I also tried prompting "Disagree" in the hope that the upgrading would cancel or withdraw so as to go back to a perfectly working order version iOS 6 as before but unfortunately NOTHING AT ALL is happening & the iPad has become totally unresponsive.  Can anyone please guide me as to how to Restore my iPad to its working state as before?

    Try reset iPad and continue with update.
    Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
    Note: Data will not be affected.

  • Agree to terms and conditions check box

    I am using a checkbox for users to indicate that they agree to the forms terms and conditions. On Submit how can I validate that the box was checked and if not block the Submit process from completing until the checkbox is selected.

    Make the submit button presence 'hidden', add a second button that performs the check box validation and if the validation succeeds, call 'click' on the submit button.
    // form1.page1.subform1.callSubmitBtn::click - (JavaScript, client)
    if (form1.page1.subform1.cb.rawValue == "0") {
       xfa.host.messageBox("Please agree to terms and conditions.","Agree",0);
    else {
       form1.page1.subform1.submitBtn.execEvent("click");

  • PDF form text fields' options change when opened in READER on a MAC.

    I created a PDF form using Adobe X PRO. All fields are UNCHECKED for Property/Options/ "scroll long text". I save and distribute the form as a "reader extended pdf/enable additional features" so it can be saved and returned using READER.
    When a Mac user opens the extended form in Adobe READER, ALL the text fields change to scroll. When he returns the completed form to me, every text field, even signature and date fields, are changed to scroll text.
    What is happening in the transition from PC to MAC?

    Preview is the default PDF viewer on the Mac. It should never be used with PDF forms. Just let them know that they should use Adobe Reader. Provide a link or URL where it can be downloaded and let them know that it's free.
    There are things you can do so that it doesn't work in Preview, but it involves some scripting. If interested in this approach, post again.

  • No options under the distribute tab to copy url link or embed a fillable PDF form

    I Have a paid basic account is not giving me the option to under the  distribute tab to copy url link or embed a fillable PDF form? Simply put it doesn't show up for an option. I want to embed the form into my website but the embed feature is not showing up? Please help I have been at this all day.

    Based on your answer above, it sounds like you uploaded the file to your website, as opposed to the function being available from formscentral.
    If you have downloaded the file from Acrobat Pro then uploaded it to a website and had the upload pinned to a download button, then that is going to be a function of your website. Your workaround has nothing to do with formscentral itself.
    You essentially uploaded the file to your website, then made it a downloadable file. The reason it is opening in your browser is because you have the Adobe Reader/Acrobat plug-in for your browser. It's not actually "embedded". If you uninstalled all of your adobe plug-ins, then it would open Reader or Acrobat, not in the browser. The reason it only opens in Safari is likely due to the fact that you only have the Adobe Reader/Acrobat plug-in enabled for Safari, and it is disabled for the other browsers.
    I hope this makes sense!

  • Node Conditions in PDF form

    HI All,
    Please read the question carefully before responding.
    We have a Z version of MEDRUCK_PO which the customer has asked us to change. Currently he can use a free text delivery address in Ariba which will then be passed to the PO in SAP ECC.
    The problem is that certain POs are will default to SAP delivery addresses (managed by Plant). We then have an issue where we can have two addresses on a line item. Confusing for the Vendor!
    This should be easily solved by conditioning the address at the line item. However the text-id is in another node (TEXTS) and because of this it cannot be used as a conditioning variable. The same goes for any other TEXT variables.
    Does anyone have a clever way of getting around this problem?
    Thanks in advance.
    Alistair

    It the person who filled it in probably used Preview, which corrupts PDF forms in a number of ways. To make the data visible in the fields, open the form in Acrobat, export the form data to an FDF file, and import the FDF file that you saved.
