Agreements / Contracts

Hello All
Do we have a comprehensive agreement or a contract management functionality in any of the SAP components
SAP ERP
SAP CRM
SAP TPM
pl do provide a link which would give an overview on the Business benefits perspective:-
JS

Contract Management is a part of the solution mySAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM). SAP released this functionality generally within the SRM 3.0 u2013 4.0 releases. This solution is definitely newer compared to the core operational procurement solution (EBP).

  • Outline Agreement (Contract) data does not match with EKPO table.

    Hi,
I have created a outline agreement(Contract) with net price as 100 / 1 Kg. But when I go to EKPO table in front of Net Price it is reflecting net price as 1 / 1 Kg. So it shows that it is dividing the net price by 100 in Table EKPO. This is happening with the currencies which are maintained in T Code OY04 (Currencies like JPY, CLP, ESP, ITL) with decimals as 0.
Rest all curriencies which have not maintained in OY04, there is no problem in EKPO as the data matches with Outline Agreement Net Price.
Request you to please provide the input to resolve the same.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Neeraj Singh

    Hi Neeraj Singh,
The value of data stored in EKPO depends on the decimal places defined
for the currency. In standard the decimal places is taken as 2 . Therefore the value will be
the same as order price if the currency is defined for two decimal
    places ( default is 2 ).
However, if the decimal places for JPY is defined as zero the table
will show a value of price /100. If you choose a currency with
3 decimal places the value in the table will be price * 10 and so on.
    Example:
Currency                          Decimal places      Order price      Value in EKPO
    SGD                                               2               2000               2000
    NLG                                               2               2000               2000
    JPY                                               0               2000               20
    KWD (Kuwati Dinar)                     3               2000               20000
    ITL                                                 0               2000               20
All currencies that do not have any decimal places at all
    (TCURX-CURRDEC = 0) must have EKPO-NETPR multiplied by 100.
Please check SAP notes which may be of help to understand this issue 53206 and 137626
The issue you reported in not an error but standard.  I hope this information is of help.

  • Difference between Scheduling Agreement & Contract

    Hi Friends,
What is the difference between Scheduling Agreement & Contract? Please explain with examples.
    Thanks & Regards
    Saeed Arif

    Hi,
Contract: is an agreement between the company & sold-to-party (customer)
It is of 2 types Quantity Contract & Value Contract. Every contract has a validity period. In quantity contract you have an agreement about the quantity to be sold to customer and you can have special prices for the contracts. In general any customer enters into contract for a price benefit and from company's prospective it will assure the company that customer would not go to competitor.
It is created in SAP using VA41. Every contract has a contract no and when ever customer wants material he will create a sales order (called Release Order) and it is created with ref to contract no. all the release orders are updated in contract document flow. with in the contract validity period customer can create a no of release orders till the target contract value is reached. if the target value is reached you can extend the contract or close it as per your requirement.
Scheduling agreement: is also a contract between company and sol-to-party. the difference here is in scheduling agreement customer will tell in contract itself what product he wants, what quantity he wants and when the delivery is to be made. so in scheduling agreement only you have schedule lines created and when the delivery dates is reached you can directly create a delivery with ref to contract and no separate sales order (release orders) are required for this type of contracts.

    Abhee.

  • Centrally agreed contract and MRP settings

does MRP consider the centrally agreed contracts during its run (specifically as plants are not assigned in the centrally agreed contract).
So when MRP is run at plant level - is it possible to consider the centrally agreed contract, or in other words, will MRP let you know from which contract (if centrally) to order the quantity
Thanks a lot for ur time

Yes, MRP consider the centrally contract as long as you mantained in the source list

  • Change line item in PR, PO, Sch agreement, contract to trigger workflow.

    Hi.
The requirement is whenever there is a change in a line item. The workflow is to trigger. When I use the events:
    SIGNIFICANLYCHANGED IN BUS2009
CHANGED IN BUS2012 (ENTRY MAINTAINED IN SWEC)
Z_CHANGE IN BUS2013 (ENTRY MAINTAINED IN SWEC)
CHANGED IN BUS2014 (ENTRY MAINTAINED IN SWEC)
The problem with the above events is that, right after the event "RELEASESTEPCREATED" the above events get triggered automatically. My requirement is that, it should get triggered only on line item changes (new version of the purchasing document is created).
Thanks and expecting a reply soon..
    Sukumar.

    Hi Vinoth,
I did the same thing but a bit differently.
i used the code as below.
DATA: container like table of swr_cont with header line, xeban like table of  ueban with header line, xebkn like table of uebkn with header line, yeban like table of  ueban with header line, yebkn like table of  uebkn with header line, object_key type swr_struct-object_key, item_numc type numc05.
select * into corresponding fields of table xeban from eban where banfn = number and bnfpo = item.
select * into corresponding fields of table xebkn from ebkn where banfn = number and bnfpo = item.
    yeban = xeban.
    yebkn = xebkn.
    read table xeban index 1.
    xeban-kz = 'U'.
    xeban-banpr = '08'.
    modify xeban index 1.
    CALL FUNCTION 'ME_UPDATE_REQUISITION'
    TABLES
    xeban = xeban
    xebkn = xebkn
    yeban = yeban
    yebkn = yebkn.
This solved the issue as far as PR is concerned. I need to update PROCSTAT in EKKO for PO, scheduling agreements and contracts.
    Let me know about this.
    Thanks,
    Sukumar.

  • Global Outline Agreement (Contract Create in Backend System)

    Hi All
We are trying to create contract in backend system automatically. We have implemented the following two BADI.
    BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS (SRM 5.0)
    BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE (SRM 5.0)
But they are not getting triggered, when the contract is created. Just for the sake of confirming this, We put some logic for inserting an entry in the custom table if at the BADI is trigerred. But after the creation of contract there is no entry found in the custome table, hence I believe that the BADI is not getting trigerred.
    My requirement are
    1)  I want this BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE to be triggerred when I click the "Release" button in "Global Outline Agreement".
    2) Pointers how this can be debugged when releasing the outline agreement
Any help to solve this/ some useful pointer would be highly appreciated.
Note: I have checked these but did not help much,

    Hi Bala,
    Please see the note
Note 646903 - Global outline agreement: Tips and tricks.
This contains details of debugging the GOA transfer BADI.
Actually you need to make a variable X while starting debugging and then only BADI get trigerred.
This will solve your issue as debugging seems to be only way for your issue.

  • What is service agreement , -contract, -quotation and confirmation

what is service agreement and service level agreement?
what is service contract and service contract quotation?
what is service order and service order quotation?
    what is service confirmation?
can anybody explain me these all
    regards,
    izaz

<b>> what is service agreement and service level  agreement?</b>
A service agreement is a business transaction that defines the products and the pricing conditions that are covered under the service contract. A service contract or a service contract quotation  could be the follow  up document to a service agreement.
A service level  agreement defines the maximum level of service that could be available to a customer. The two profiles that are used to define SLA are response profile(maximum time taken to respond to a compliant) and service profile(time taken to solve the issue)
<b>> what is service contract and service contract  quotation?</b>
A service  contract is a business transaction that  is an  agreement which define services offered for a particular period to a customer. It will lists the customers' products covered under the contract and also pricing conditions for each product.
A service contract is a follow up document of the service contract quotation.
The service contract quotation is a business transaction that is intially sent to the customer which defines what services could be offered to him, the prices and the products covered under these. if the customer agrees, a contract could be created else there could be further negotiations.
<b> what is service order and service order quotation</b>
A Service order quotation is an offer to the customer with conditions for the performance of a service/delivery of spare parts. It also states prices for the work involved. Once the customer has accepted it becomes a service order by copy control/follow-up.
it is different from a service contract because it is not a long term agreement, just one time offer.
    <b>> what is service confirmation?</b>
A service confirmation is a business transaction that is used to confirm all the service parts, expenses, spare parts, and tools used while performing a service. It is also used to enter the actual time spent in doing the work. All these  can be used to create a billing document for the customer.
A service confirmation is a follow up document of a service process. (not necessary). All the items in the service process are automatically copied to the service confirmation. the service employee will select the ones used and a bill is created for the customer based on these items in the confirmation.
hope this helps. reward with points.

  • Outline agreements(contracts) - consignment

    Hello Experts!
I have following problem and need your help. I have run the report ME80RN (General Analysis of Purchasing documents) for quantity contracts. We have normal and consignment contracts.
Is there any chance that the report shows the values for the consignment contracts as well? Atm the reports shows just 0`s. I know that the prices are in the info records but we would like to know what the expected spend will be.
    Thanks for your help.

Excactly. I get the Net Order Values for normal contracts. For consignment contracts there is only a 0.00 in the Net Order Value column for each contract position.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Planned delivery time in purchase agreement (contract)

    Hello,
When I create a material contract for a material master without an existing info record, the system leaves the field "planned delivery time" blank. When there is already an inforecord for the material, the system copies the planned delivery time from the inforecord in the contract.
Can anybody explain why? And how to prevent this?
    Thanks,
    Isabel

    Hi,
If you enter planned delivery time in Info record, it automatically copied to contract.  Make the planned delivery time in info record as blank.  Or you can remove the planned delivery time in Contract when creating it

  • Copy partners in agreement contract

    Hi !
I am trying to copy partners from a purchasing organization to another one in agreement (ME32K).
I manage to do it quite easily using transaction, but I can't find any FM that works ...
I have tried BAPI_CONTRACT_CHANGE, but I cannot find purchase organization level in the partners table.
I have tried MM_PDATE_PARTNERS & MM_COPY_PARTNERS. Those FM do not send back any error, but nothing is done in the DB and my agreement is not modified.
Any help would be welcome !
    Tanks,
    Yann

As I got no answer, I finally decided to do a call transaction on ME32K.
