AIA - (Siebel to BRM --- Update Account Status)

Hello all guys
I am new in the AIA and Siebel and BRM world
I am in a project in which i need to integrate the customer management module using AIA between Siebem and BRM.
I have read the document named "Order to Bill 2.5 Implementation Guide" and it was really usefull. Somehow, i need more detail information about the
"update account status integration"
Could you please tell me where can i find more information related to it???
I have searched in the web but i can not find it...
All I have is this "The update account status integration flow (used in conjunction with Collection Management process), which updates the account status from Siebel CRM to Oracle BRM", but my partners tell the that the update should be done from BRM to Siebel.
I really hope you can help me guys...

Hi,
Account updation should happens from Siebel CRM to Oracle BRM(like any changes in contact,address,billing profile) in O2B PIP
But Account status updation should happen from BRM to CRM and it comes as par of collections management AABC PIP
For example if the credit limit of the customer(Account) exceeds above certain limit then BRM will send alert to siebel
or if the customer has not paid the bill and diue has been completed,In this scenarios BRM can send alerts to Siebel system to change the Account Status from Active to Inactive as BRM is the master for billing.

  • OIM 9.1 DB Recon Changes Locked Account status in OIM back to Provisioned

    I have a scheduled task that runs the OIM DBAccessReconTask but am seeing some unexpected behavior. Here are the steps to produce the error:
    1. Provision a DB account to a user in OIM (this creates an account in the target database and the account shows in the user's resource profile with a status of "Provisioned")
    2. Disable the DB account in OIM from the User's Resource profile screen (this successfully disables the account in the database and changes the account status to "Disabled")
    3. Run the DBAccessReconTask
    4. After the DBAccessRecon task completes the status of the DB account in the database is still disabled but in OIM on the user's resource profile screen it is marked as "Provisioned"
    I did not expect this to be changed to provisioned in OIM since it is disabled in the database. Has anyone seen similar issues when running the DBAccessReconTask or know a way to fix this?

    Thanks for the reply. Originally I thought your solution would work but after analyzing it closer there is a more fundamental problem we are having with the DBReconTask. We only want the reconciliation to take place going from OIM to the database and not vice versa (i.e. changes to an account in OIM should be pushed to the database but not from the database to OIM). However, currently if a change is made in the database (a role is added, the profile is changed, etc...) and the DBReconTask is run then it will be updated in OIM. Do you know how this can be achieved? These are the properties we currently use when creating the task:

    More then likely, it's an authorization hold verifying your account status since you updated your billing information. That money should be credited back to your account within 24 to 48 hours.

    I have iPhone 5s. I have account info to  my Facebook app. I know I can update my status "via iOS" with a picture.
    My question is:
    How can I update my status ONLY "via iOS" without having to upload a picture.
    When I had my iPhone 4s I used to do it sliding down my notification bar up top. Is there a a way to get that feature again? Or is there specific steps I have to do to get that feature again?

    When I'm on my own page there is a selection to Write Post near the top. When I'm on my newsfeed there is an Update Status section in the upper left corner.

  • Error- Update Bdoc status failed- R3AD_Accounting

    Hi ,
    We are trying to replicate service order from CRM to r/3, after saving a service order in SMW01 it shows error "No r/3 upload"
    In SMQ2 there is a queue R3AD_Accounting with status SYSFAIL stuck with the error message "Update BDoc status failed - BDoc not found"
    In R3AC1 the object Accounting does not have any entries for tables or initial flow context.
    Please let me know where we can maintain the entries for this Adapter object-Accounting.

    Try releasing the queue, might be a temporary problem.
    If not, check out the lockings in transactions sm13 (or sm12: I'm not sure).

    Check and maintain the following settings:
    All accounts the system finds in the SD sales order must be supplied with an existing commitment item.
    The funds center and the funds must either be entered in the account assignment panel of the SD sales order or they must be derived.
    For detail refer SAP Note 418471 - V1331 (Item & does not exist) / Funds Management.

  • EMAIL AND CALENDAR ACCOUNT STATUS ISSUE / BUG OS 10.3.1

    I found an issue / bug which is really frustrating me!
    Phone:      Blackberry Q10 (SQN100-3)
    OS:           10.3.1.1565
    Mail:          IMAP
    Calendar:  Google Calendar
    Last week I updated my BB Q10 to the new officially released OS 10.3.1
    Today I noticed that the connection info / status for email accounts and calendars (Settings > Accounts) wasn’t indication correctly.
    In the Accounts menu it shows “E-mail” below the name of my email account and “Calendar” below my calendar account to indicate that my Q10 is connected to these accounts. But when I turn airplane-mode on it still shows E-mail and Calendar without being connected to any of these accounts.
    Strangely when I turn on my phone while in airplane-mode the Accounts menu shows “E-mail” for my email account and “No Connection” for my calendar account, obviously without being connected to my email account. But when I turn of airplane-mode I receive emails and new appointments but the Accounts status for calendar still shows “No Connection”.
    Apparently the account status is not updated while using my phone, it shows the status at startup. This is very annoying and I am unable to check whether I am connected or not to my email and calendar while not in airplane-mode.
    In OS 10.2.1 the account status worked correctly and was updated (connected / no connection) while using my phone.
    Anybody else with the same problem?
    Is this already a known issue / bug?
    Anyone an idea how to solve this issue?

    I would simply delete both accounts (email and calendar) then readd them.

    I get the below error while updating the Outline Account Dim.This error occurs only when updating account dim. It does not happen with other dimensions. So it doesn't seem to be the connection being down. If we recycle the analytics server. But we are not able to find out the actual cause for this issue.
    Error message:
    Cannot build dimension. Analytic Server Error(1042017): Network error: The client or server timed out waiting to receive data using TCP/IP. Check network connections. Increase the NetRetryCount and/or NetDelay values in the ESSBASE.CFG file. Update this file on both client and server. Restart the client and try again
    Additional information
    Account is defined as dense dimesion with 1800 level 0 members. We are updating this using rules file.

    There is probably something in your dim build source file that Essbase doesn't like and isn't giving you a good error message. Did this dim build work in the past and you recently added something to it?
    Try excluding certain columns like member properties and data storage just to see if you can get the members to load. Then slowly bring back in the other columns to see if you find the one that has the problem. Similarly try keeping all the columns but just try loading one record and see if it succeeds, this will help you start to narrow down if it is a load rule or source issue. Other option is to create a new load rule, perhaps there is something wrong with the one you are using.
    Unfortunately there is no magic bullet here, you just have to work through small samples to try and isolate what the problem is.

  • Error while updating the status record of IDOC in SAP

    I am facing this problem. I have done outbound processing and IDOC was sent successfully from SAP to EDI system and it was processed in EDI and now EDI system wants to send the status back to SAP with a status message and the status number that we are using is '24' and we have mapped all the fields in the status table EDIDS and made sure that EDI system sends all those and I think Counter field can not be determined by EDI system so EDI system used the counter '1' since it can not determine how many counters are already there in SAP and unless we pass the value to this counter field we were getting the error. After passing all the values the status of the IDOC is updated with the status '00' instead of '24' and we do not know why it is happened and I would like to know how SAP converts the status record that is received from the EDI system.
    Please let me know how the status record will be translated into SAP from EDI system and I ahve followed basically EDIDS structure and the IDOC status is updating in SAP but with wrong status number and the alignemnt also missing in SAP fields like if I give some text in the EDI it is splitting and storing in 2 fields.
    Please help me in this and I think I have explained the problem in a detail manner.

    Thanks for the reply and my question is since EDI system is able to send the status back to SAP from EDI system and only problem is it is updatinf the status wrong and I have checked the EDIDS table also and the entry is creating with another counter and please confirm me that it is because of EDI does not support the status record update so that I can confirm to the client that there is nothing wrong in the way SAP functions and EDI system can not update the status code in the SAP.

    If the field they are updating is in the same object it shouldn't be an issue. If another object needs to be updated then the workflow won't work.
    Integration events can be used for this. generate a event and have a external process poll the integration event queue for new events. when received, it can do whatever is necessary via web services.

  • Account Status Report

    I use the Account Status Report pretty frequently but I want to add criteria. I want to just have the customers with a balance due of less than $1.00.
    Is there any way of doing it within the application? If not where is the script that creates the report, I would like to tweak it.

    1. one solution will be customize the report to add filter.
    2. If you have Discoverer, then you can create your own query using EUL and Business Areas.
    3. If you are on 11.10 version, another option is display account status report's output in new report using xml publisher and putting filter condition on that.
    For me, it seem it is very small changes in report, should not take 2-3 days by an IT resource, thanks

    If your requirement is to set the check the HTS field in the material master, you can make the field as Mandatory without which the  Material cant be saved
    You can make this field mandatory in OMS9 transaction code with field status as 89 and the field is MARC-STAWN

    I am using status_update FM in sales order user exit MV45AFZZ in a perform routine for updating user status in line item for sales order. There are 4 custom statuses created for the sales order line item. 1,2 3, and 4 by configuration. My job is to select one of those based on user selection.
    Scenario: During change order process using  VA02, I have to change the existing status to a third status when user selects the second one. That is for example, in VA02, user selects status 4 from previous status 3, and save, I have to make the status 4 inactive and save the new status 2 instead of 3 though user selected 3. How do I achieve this.?  ????Any programming example is really appreciated. Thanks!!!
    I am right now using STATUS_READ and reading the existing status 4. Then making it inactive using status_update FM. And updating the new status 2 as active one and 3 as inactive again. Two inactive updates and one active update is throwing an update termination error while saving the sales order.
    Any help is really appreciated.

    Hi ricky,
    For saving any changes you need to have a Z-table.
    In programs we can't store the user selection. In your case you can create a z-table and store the status there and delete the last status. The process would be faster as you will always have one record in the table.
    . One more advantage is you can even track the changes through the Z-table(User who is changing it.)
