AIDE....QUALITE D'IMAGE !!!!

Bonsoir à tous,
Je voudrais savoir comment faire pour avoir une qualité exceptionnel comme sur les photos des appareils présenté sur le site Apple (pour iPad,iPhone,iPod & MacBook Pro). Car quand je prends des photos ou des videos, la qualité d'image n'est pas très présente à mon goût, elle est plutôt faible ce qui me dérange beaucoup car je vois plusieurs photos de personnes qui prennent des photos avec leurs iPhone ou le reste des produits proposé et ils obtiennent une qualité très net.

Sinon concernant votre problème de booléen, il faudrait nous attacher un screenshot ou mieux encore votre vi afin de reproduire votre problème. Quelle est votre version de LV ? L'implémentation logicielle consisterait à utiliser des noeuds de propriété, aussi voici quelques liens intéressants :

Images out of focus?

I've been using ACDSee as a photo viewer/organzer and linking to photoshop for editing. I recently upgraded to cs5 photoshp and finally decided to try Bridge since I figured the integration would be better and figured bridge would be using the same monitor calibration profile as photoshop.
So it's a nice program, BUT - all my images (preview/slideshow) are out of focus (or low resolution/quality). I searched for settings everywhere in the preferences, even turning on/off software rendering, with no apparent affect. They're sharp in photoshop and every other photo viewer I've ever tried, so I figured I was missing something really obvious. I called adobe support and installed their "desktop sharing" software. The rep then had me reset bridge to all defaults, open an image, then open the same image in photoshop AND acdsee. He verified that the image in Bridge was not as sharp as both photoshop and acdsee. He explained that bridge didn't use the same imaging technology as photoshop (really) and that bridge was intended as a front end to photoshop to aid in selecting images for later editing.
I explained that as a photographer I couldn't use bridge to select images for editing if I couldn't tell WHICH ONES WERE IN FOCUS (emphasis mine). I'd have to load them all into photoshop to determine that, so what use was bridge? He said he was going to check on that and left the call for a while, then came back and reiterated that he was correct...that bridge wasn't meant for the quality of viewing I was looking for. He said he would suggest that as a future enhancement. I said that didn't make much sense since I must be living on another planet if no one else has ever complained about this since the initial release of bridge way back when. He politely laughed.
So I'm completely mystified...is that actually correct?...That the images viewed in bridge are presented in a lower image quality than photoshop??? (or even ACDSee??). I like the program and its interface, but I can't use it if I can't even determine which images are in focus. PLEASE tell me the support rep was inadequately trained...
I'm running windows 7 64 bit...in case it matters my graphics adapter is composed of dual nvidia GeForce 8800gtx cards with basically default settings, using the latest nvidia drivers (which were just updated last month to specifically support the video hardware utilization of CS5).

Ahh, I see another idiot has been suckered in by the business model of Adobe Inc. When I first purchased CS4 I had many, many problems with Photoshop, Bridge and InDesign. It is these three programs I utilize the most with a little of Dreamweaver and even less of Illustrator. After nearly a week spent both online and on the telephone we came to the conclusion that some hidden software code that entegrated the suite, and which each software package shared to some unknown degree, did not like my NVidia GeForce 9800GT video card.
After a two step process of testing updated drivers from NVidia and totally reformatting my entire computer the various graphics card problems were not resolved. Did you notice that I had to reformat my entire hard drive? That entailed a week of installing each and every program (over 40 of 'em) and locating and updating all the various drivers for some fairly mundane attached cards and equipment. The problems with Adobe were not resolved. Not one!
The problem I had with Bridge CS4 was similar to yours and still on occasion occurs. The displaying of thumbnails as extremely low resolution blobs of pixels. The solution is not related to the preferences but more to the handling of pixels between Adobe's graphics display code and how it interfaces with my NVidia display adapter. I have seen similar problems with other iterations of the NVidia display adapter. As you have seen Adobe's motto seems to be: We are God and everyone must bow to us. In the industry the proper manner is for the display adapter manufactuer to create the various operating system drivers and for the software developers to properly hook to those drivers. Adobe does not follow this standardized method of hardware to software integration.
The one way I have found that seems to work on my WinXP Pro SP3 Core 2 Duo with 4 gigabytes of memory is as follows. Under the Tools menu should be a Cache submenu which contains a purge "your folder." Purge the folder and let the computer rebuild it. Do not do anything while it is rebuilding the cache. And I mean nothing! At least on my system it seems that my switching to some other program in the middle of the cache building (which contains the thumbnails) upsets Bridge which does not like not having full unfettered access to the graphics card or its drivers during the cache building.
Perhaps this works with CS5 or not. I do not plan on upgrading to CS5 for Adobe to laugh at my needs! Why pay them my hard earned money for them to tell me to go pound sand and that I am on my own resources. I have never been able to fully utilize Photoshop CS4 and still constantly use PS7 and PS CS2. And the corrupting of files by InDesign CS4 with no method of repairing the files makes the usage of this program laudable to a book creator. Creative Suite 2 appears to be the last fully stable software package released by Adobe. At least none of the files created by InDesign CS2 end up being recreated.
Do yourself a favor and do not attempt to create a web gallery via Bridge. There are free and shareware programs out there that handle the task much more adroitly than it does. JAlbum is a good one. Bridge's Web Gallery could have been a God send to those needing such functions. However, if you look at the coding within the templates they were each generated by a third or fourth party enterprise and the ability to manipulate them is entirely out of the reach of even the most accomplished HTML coder. And Dreamweaver laughs at the template files—not understanding the concepts used to build or enact them. And I have to yet to find any tutorials on how to create a set of files to be used as my own web gallery template.
One of the most frustrating aspects is that the majority of hard core Web Gallery programs now utilize XML files significantly. Bridge does not allow you to generate such a file containing the full spectrum of available tags that an image file can contain. Adobe's adherence to metadata standards is a very good one but the usage of the intereactivity between the various packages and external software packages is non-existent. Bridge's scripts, which would be used to create a XML file, are, in this writer's opinion, as useless as crayons are to a digital artist. And with no third party individual willing to tackle them from the perspective of true usability, this will continue to be an issue.
The one saving grace of Bridge in CS2 and CS4 is the ability to embed generated metadata into the image file itself. I strongly stress the embedding of metadata into the file as the tools that can be used in Bridge to ease the task are well thought out and simple to integrate into a digital workflow. For a photographer, or a digital archivist, simply create a temporary metadata file from information entered into one file, and copy the same information to an entire directory of files. I have used this on directories containing up to 2,000 files and it worked without a flaw. External pony files are too easy to get lost and thus there goes your carefully crafted metadata compilation.
Once you do get Bridge working correctly you will soon find it replacing your Windows file manager or a third party graphical broswer. I cannot comment on the Mac but what I have seen demonstrated on the Mac is almost as useful as Bridge. When working in either InDesign or Photoshop (ver. 7, CS2 or CS4) I have Bridge up and running. I do not allow Bridge to automatically load with the operating system, preferring instead to load it when needed, as I have seen instances where it causes problems.
And yes, I both love and hate Adobe. They got me addicted to Photoshop and InDesign and keep me stringing along with promises of a greater higher. I leave my Illustrator tasks to CorelDraw which is far, far friendlier and easier to use for vector images. A vector program with no real-world scaling?

[CS4-CS5] Importing anchored objects into a table

Hi,
do you know if is it possible to import a table in ID through an XML file positioning an image (as an anchored object) within a cell?
I'm currently importing a table but it looks to me like it's not possible to add images...
I tried with this XML:

Can;t read a .dmg created by disk utility

I am looking for help to get a restore from a .dmg from an external usb drive and restore to my macbook. The backup was taken from disk utility running on Snow Leopard.
Over the weekend I needed to update my macbook and install windows using the bootdisk application. I ran bootdisk and got an error telling me there was a problem with the partitions and instructing me to take a backup; fix the partition and then restore. Foolishly I took a disk image copy and not time machine.
Having fixed the disk I went to restore the image from the drive but got a message saying it could be restore as an “imagescan” has not been performed. I ran the scan image for restore from the disk utility and got a message that states unable to scan (broken pipe).
When I try and mount the image I get a I/O error and it will not open. If I run First aid on the image it say it is fixed!!!
Doe anyone know how to overcome this error? Is there a tool I can use to fix the images??

And in the future, don't trust your files to one single backup, much less a backup on a disk image file. When you erased the hard drive, the backup became the original, but any slight bit of corruption in a disk image can destroy the whole thing, making this a very risky thing. You should always have *at least two* backups!

Tables with varying columns imported from XML

Hi,
I have an XML file for a product catalog. Each product has Name, SKU, Image, Description and a Table with some data in it. Each table is different is size, varying number of columns and rows.
I have anchored objects for some of the elements like Image or SKU in my template.
When I load the XML I check 'Clone repeating elements' upon import so I can maintain the various anchored frames for my elements. However it breaks the tables. It appears that each new table is trying to copy the previous table's exact number of rows and columns. If I uncheck this option then I get the tables in right but I lose the rest of the formatting.
Any idea how I can handle this?

We had the same problem doing a table of data that had varying columns and rows. For us, this was handled by adding table information such as cell width and cellstyle on the incoming XML (generated through a backend system that was also gathering the data into XML files, through using xml templates). We found that placeholder tables were not an option if you wanted the columns to be flexible, so instead the tables were being built by the XML.
If you are not using a backend system or don't have a way to customize the incoming data, I think you may be able to use XSLT as an intermediate way to apply more information to the XML (cell widths, etc) I am copying dummy tables below to show how the XML we used looked coming into the Indesign document. This code would all be contained within opening and closing "Root" tags in the XML. There are 3 separate tables (one called Summary, one actually called Table and one called Legend), each with its own cell widths and number of rows. The data container holds all tables, and a table growing in length will push the next table down on the page (or to the next page).
Note that each table has a different tag (name), but is described as a table through the information contained in its opening tag's attributes. We also used both namespaces (4.0 and 5.0) to take advantage of cellstyle as well as pstyle tags in the table body, allowing each cell and copy block to be styled differently when needed.

Dynamic date in Digital Signature

I am looking for a method to add a custom dynamic date field in a digital signature or modify the location and format of the Date field that is already included in the Digital ID Appearance. We are not interested in using a dynamic stamp, if we can avoid it. We are interested in the extra layer of security that the "Sign & Certify" process provides.
We have a signature box on a Construction Title Sheet that has the Date field below the Signature field and I have the custom image created and would like to add a dynamic date that is applied when I sign the document. I tried a javascript in the same method that you would use in a dynamic stamp but it is not working.
Can anyone lend some assistance?

No, I am not adding blank signature fields to a PDF. Well.. at least, that wasn't what I was intending when I posed the question.
I have a PDF that is created using a piece of CADD software that is the Title Sheet to a set of plans. Right now, all of the information on that title sheet is filled out using the CADD software. Project title, contract number, milepoint limits, table of contents, Federal Aid number, an image showing a general location of the project on a map, etc... Once that PDF is created, we want to be able to distribute it to up to 12 people for Digital Signatures. Not knowing the exact difference between a Certifying Signature and Approval Signature, we want to be able to use the Sign & Certify process, NOT the Custom Stamp.
I was hoping there would not be a need for the designers/engineers to have to manually add the Date and Signature fields for each of the 12 blocks for every title sheet they create (some might have to create up to 8 or 10 different title sheets with differing information a month).
The other route we could go would be a drastic change to how we create the Title Sheets. We would almost have to turn it into a form and enter the information on the title sheet in Adobe as opposed to using our CADD program to complete the information. The "background" image would be the title sheet with a whole bunch of fields that need to be filled out, along with image fields and signature fields that automatically fill specific date fields, similar to another post I was reading earlier today. That change in business practice would be hard to force these people to accept, I'm afraid.
So, what I was hoping for was to use the Sign & Certify > Place Signature process and have them place a custom signature file using their Digital ID and have that file contain a dynamic date field that is automatically populated similar to how a dynamic stamp in the Commenting tools work.
It doesn't seem like that is possible though, unfortunately.
By the way, I really appreciate the time you are taking to help me through this.

Viewing IBR converted files in other than Content server

Hi,
If any image which is converted using Inbound refinery can be seen in content server with different renditions. But I am not able to see the same in Webcenter Spaces using Document Explorer.
Is there any possible way for users to download different renditions/ different types of qualities of image in Spaces. Please let me know if this is possible in any other taksflow/ in Webcenter Portal.

To be able to get specific renditions of images on another application , you will have to use the entire url for the item along with the Rendition to be specified .
For eg :
http://hostname:port/cs/idcplg?IdcService=GET_FILE&dDocName=<content id>&dID=<dID>&RevisionSelectionMethod=specific&Rendition=Thumbnail&allowInterrupt=1

Personnalisation objet face avant

J'aimerais personnaliser une commande à l'aide de 3 images qui me definissent la position commutateur soit 0 ,1 ou 2. J'ai réussi à l'utiliser comme indicateur en utilisant un menu d'image déroulant mais je n'y arrive pas lorsqu'il s'agit de l'utiliser en commande. Je suis alors obligé de commander mes commutateur par le biais de vumètre et les images me permettent alors simplement de visualiser...
Serait-il possible d'intégrer ces images dans le vumètre pour la commande ?
Les images sont en pièces jointes ainsi que l'état actuel de ma face-avant, cela vous permettra de mieux comprendre l'idée.

Ci-joint un exemple utilisant une CommandeX (Bouton rotatif suporposé sur un menu déroulant image). je n'ai jamais eu l'ocasion d'utiliser les commandeX, donc j'ai profité de ton poste pour tester la chose .
En gros, le bouton retatif (invisible) permet de sélectionner la position et le menu image permet d'afficher l'image correpondante.

Développer avec Muse dans un site web existant

Muse posséde de vraies qualité de mise en page que je voudrais pouvoir utiliser pour créer des éléments de site qui aprés exportation en html pourraient s'intégrer dans un site existant (Développé avec Dreamweaver).
Mes premiers essais me font penser que globalement il n'y a que peu de problémes.
Je crée un composant avec muse (page entrée, pages de texte, diaporama...appelé: "composant .muse"). Je stocke "composant .muse", tel quel, dans le site existant. Je l'exporte en html : "composant-html", il crée un fichier qui se place dans le site existant au même niveau que le "composant .muse".
Jusque là tout semble fonctionner, je peux modifier "composant .muse" et l'exporter en html il remplace automatiquement "composant-html".
Quelques difficultés apparaissent quand je veux tirer des liens:
1) Liens du site existant vers "composant-html" (crée avec Muse). je passe dans Dreamweaver je tire le ou les liens du site vers le bon élément .html dans le fichier "composant-html"
Je peux dans Muse mettre à jour "composant .muse" et l'exporter à nouveau sans casser les liens existants
2) Liens de "composant .muse" vers le site existant. Le système de définition des hyperliens dans Muse ne permet de créer des liens qu'à l'intérieur de "composant .muse" et pas vers un fichier extérieur. J'ai contourné le problème en allant chercher l'adresse du lien
"composant-html" > vers le Site existant avec Dreamweaver.
J'insére cette adresse dans l'hyperlien correspondant de "composant .muse". J'exporte en html vers "composant-html".
Désormais le lien fonctionne dans Dreamweaver.
Ce qui est intéressant c'est que je peux modifier "composant .muse" (tant que cela ne touche pas le lien) et l'exporter à nouveau dans
"composant-html". Le lien fonctionne toujours dans Dreamweaver.
Je suis un peu surpris, de part sa simplicité, de n'avoir lu nulle part une description d'une telle application de Muse.
Y a til un problème de faisabilité que je n'ai pas détecté. Adobe envisage t elle de gommer les quelques obstacles qui permettrait de développer dans Muse et d'exporter dans un site existant ?

Je reconnais que ma question traite d'une façon d'utiliser Muse qui n'est pas dans le manuel Adobe et qu'elle a pu vous paraître étrange.
Je pensais que ce serait tout naturellement Mr Frank Payen qui répondrait sur cette façon d'utiliser Muse et que peut être il aurait une idée sur ce qu'en pense Adobe.

Image aide contextuelle

Bonjour je souhaiterais savoir s'il existe une fonctionalité Labview permettant de capturer automatiquement l'aide contextuelle d'un vi sou forme d'une image ou d'un autre format. Je voudrais documenter un projet et plutôt que de faire des impressions écrans de l'aide contextuelle. je voudrais utiliser cette fonctionalité Labview si elle existe (noeud de propriété, méthode, ou vi tout fait).

que ma pagination a conservé les attributs d'une page pair (numérotation à gauche) alors qu'elle est passée impaire.
J'aurai considéré comme normal que mon ancienne p.28 se soit déplacée en page impaire avec le bloc texte bien placé ET avec les attributs de page (liés au gabarit, tels que pagination, filets, bas de page roulants) modifiés automatiquement. Or il n'en est rien.
Tu me demandais des éclaircissements par rapport à "J'importe mes gabarits dans le document au fur et à mesure de la construction du livre et je libère les éléments de gabarit afin de pouvoir couler le texte et disposer l'icono. Lorsque c'est fait, je ne retourne pas dans le mode page d'InDesign. J'attaque la page suivante." Voici, plus en détails ce que je fais au moment où je monte une nouvelle page. Mes gabarits ont été préparé en amont.
J'ajoute une page au document (ex : une page de texte)
je lui confère le gabarit qui va avec (ex : C-présentation ch1, cf plus haut)
je libère les éléments de gabarits pour pouvoir couler le texte et disposer les images.
quand ma page est finie je recommence l'étape 1.
Est-ce que c'est à l'étape 3 que je me plante ?
Est-ce qu'il y aurait d'autres explications à ce malheureux schmilblick ?

Mixing Image Qualities in a PDF

I have a document I created in InDesign.
I and I would like to export for viewing on the web.
My problem is, when I export it using the standard preset, the images I want to be sharp are blurry.
When I export it for High Res Print, the 52 page file becomes 18 Megs vs 1 Meg.
Is there are way I can change lower the quality on certain images, and raise them on others?
I was also thinking of exporting it page by page, selecting different presets depending on how quality important each image is. And then combining it at the end.
Does anyone know the best way to approach this is, or should I just bite the bullet and force the visitor to download the 18meg file to view the document.

InDesign doesn't have an option at the export stage to choose different image resolutions for each frame in the layout, but it doesn't upsample - so if you switch out your high-res images for low-res copies (i.e. copy and replace the original image files on disc) you can control the process that way.
Acrobat can resample images via the Save As > Optimized PDF dialog, but it applies the reductions to the entire file.
