AIF in Ehp4 - E-Rec

Dear Members,
Is it possible to use AIF (Adobe Interactive Form) instead of smartforms (Correspondence or Data Overview) in eREC Ehp4?
I don't find anything about using AIF in Ehp4 E-Rec here http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/en/b0/8af9114b224e4a9fab63ee633ffe1d/frameset.htm . However, I could see 31 forms in u2018SFPu2019 transaction if I search 'HRRCF'.

Hello Naddy,
first of all i think there is a difference between Adobe Forms and Adobe Interactive Forms. Adobe Forms are available for data overviews since release 600 anything. The interactive forms are used in the MSS scenario for requesting a requisition delivered with EhP3.
So far I have seen no difference the T77S0 switch RECFA DATAO. It has still the same description as in EhP3 that it is only used for data overviews and the classes for sending correspondences still contain the following comment lines:
* For now, Adobe Forms will not be used in correspondence at all - sf_adobe is always blank! (JDH)
* read adobe switch from t77s0
* CALL METHOD me->get_dataoverview_format
* IMPORTING
* p_gsval = lv_gsval.
*changes to due to new functionality of individual correspondence
What changes is that the old version of changing the complete corresponcence in an editor is no longer available. There is only the letter section solution from EhP4 on. The TextEdit to change the letter section is now replaced by a kind of editor which at least allows some formatting but not much. A BAdI gives a bit of influence ho the formatting is mapped into the Smartfarm Style but so far I had no time to check the real potential of this.

E-rec Ehp4 , Cretae requistion page is not working

Hi All
After upgrading EHP4, most of the cases we are getting error "You are not authorized to execute this application".
1)Recruiter > Requisition > Create /create by position/Candidate search > you are not authorized to execute this application occurs
2)Recruiter > Personal settings > Internal error
I am using the new ehp4 role but still it is not working .
Please let me know how you resolved this issue.

HCM_ERC_SES_1- E-rec search
HCM_MSS_ERC_CI_1- MSS
HCM_ASR_CI_1- Hr administrartive
HCM_ASR_CI_2-Hr administrartive
We have assigned the following roles to the recuriter -SAP_RCF_REC_ADMIN_ERC_CI_2 ,SAP_RCF_RECRUITER_ERC_CI_2 , RCF_MANAGER .
When we go to portal -1)Recruiter > Requisition > Create /create by position/Candidate search > it give error - you are not authorized to execute this application .
I tried same from sicf -services(erc_a_req_mgmt) it give the same error.
Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

E-rec 600 EHP4 implementation without EP

Dear All,
I would like to know the feasibility of implementing e-rec 600 ehp4 without EP. I understand from one of the sap notes that, EP is a prerequisite.
If it possible, please share the approach on high level.

Hello Rao,
With out EP also you can implement E-rec SP04. However you will loose from MSS related fucntionality. You can embed the e-rec links in to share point and provide signle sign on access to recruiters and manager. Please see below link for more details. Let me know if you have any questions.

Error while creating Vacancy requisition object (NB) after upgrading EHP4

Hi All,
We had alreay E-Rec system with EHP2 and using last 1 year. Now based on Client requirement, we have upgrdaed to EHP4. After completing EHP4 upgradation, we are getting error while creating vacancy requisition object after all level of approval.
Can any body help how to resolve this issue?

Download Business Package for Recruiter 1.41 but available till 1.40 E-rec

Hi,
I have to deploy E-rec packages on Portal, our backend is SAP ECC ehp4 with SP 20.
As per recommendation, Business Package for
Recruiting Administrator 1.41 and Business Package for
Recruiter 1.41 needs to deployed to get E-rec functionality, but on service market place under
Portal content folder packages are avalable till 1.40 instead of 1.41.
Request to tell where is the path from where we can download 1.41 packages.
2)I want to clarify one more thing that SAP E-Recruiting (EA-ER) needs to add on
to get E-rec functionality in Backend(ECC EHP4).

Recruiter 1.41 and add-on is also required SAP E-Recruiting (PA-ER) in Backend(ECC EHP4) as ERECRUIT
package is already there with SP 6.

E-recruiting under MSS create requisition request EHP4

Dear Team,
We are facing the following problem.
when manager with the role (SAP_RCF_MANAGER) is trying to create the requisition request in back end it is always showing no data available (select employee->select processes). Edit button has been disabled due to "no data available" error.
System details backend EHP4
service pack 13 EAHR 604
in our system we do not have manager groupings related nodes as it is EHP4.

How to - E-Recruiting ALE-integration step-by-step (EhP4)

Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me the step-by-step guideline to perform the ALE initial run from SAP HCM to E-Recruiting using transaction PFAL (RHALEINI)??
We are implementing E-Recruiting stand-alone constellation: separate ECC instance integrated with E-Rec via ALE/RFC, enhancement package 4.
We've done some try-outs in the new version, but we lack the certainty that we've done things right.
Please do not refer to note 997181 since it does not explain the details on how to run the initial load. It explains adequately how to set-up the config and very basically how to run PFAL on page 2 (scen. I2-A) and page 4 (up to rel. 6.03)... But it's not sufficient in my opinion... We've done exactly the same...
So what I'm interested in is the right sequence of runs and the selection screen values.
We also have quite a few SLG1 errors which are unclear. Some suggest as if the processing occurs simultaneously (parallel) and blocks the asynchronous processes... Is there a certain number we should enter in the field "number of objects per process"? It's defaulted on 200...
Can anyone shed some light on the best-practice how to run this transaction?

E-rec performance issues - Candidate Assignements tab is taking longer time

Hello,
We have some serious performance issues with candidate assignments in e-rec system. For the first time if you access a requisition with 60 candidates assigned, its taking more than 3 min to load. If you access again then its taking less than 30 sec.I understand this could be because of the memory cache. My questions are below.
1) Does it take more than 3 min to load 60 candidates your system?
2) Is there a way to improve performance with memory cache settings?
3) Are there any ideas to improve the performance of the candidates assignements page?
We are in e-rec EHP4 system.

Hi,
perhaps as an overall comment on this topic. There are performance issues in e-recruiting. There have been some improvements, Ryan named some of them. As the KW is one of the bottle necks changing to SES search may help as no more XML documents for indexing are stored which reduces the overall amount. In addition there is a note which splits the KW in a part used for indexing and a part for unstructured documents.
Unfortunately overall it are valueable improvements but the problems will not be fully solved even if applying all. The best solution is still having an eye on data groth. This leads together technical, business and legal issues. Many countries have restrictions on the duration you can keep the data. By deleting data in time you can heavily reduce data grotth. Furthermore check with the business responsible if 50 MB attachments for each candidate really contributes to the process and the hiring decision. I know HR departments who insist that every candidate uploads the last 3-4 school reports even if he is 20 years into his job. Is this really necessary? Same issue is with the number of candidacies on a requisition / application group. I have seen recruiters reusing the same requisition every six months when they need a new intern for a department and then complaining that the system is to slow with >1000 candidacies on the requisition. Of course it would be great if the application could handle this easily but as it is not this way using this system as it is meant can help a lot.

BAPI Error message in WDA using AIF

I am working on Custom WDA using AIF to create Purchase Requisitions.
I am calling the BAPIs - 'BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE' and 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT' using CALL FUNCTION.
I passed the item values to zitab and called the function module.

I need to update 5 custom fields in the CI_EBANDB include in the EBAN table. I am using the EXTENSIONIN parameter.

E-Rec ,Candidate Appears twice in fast search

We are using Standalone E-rec system EHp4 , Done with all the ALE Related configuration for Data Transfer b/t ECC to E-rec System , While Running PFAL(RHALEINI) for the first with the object type 'P' we missed to update the infotype 0006 , subtype 1 , we ran the PFAL for the object type 'P' for all the employee in Insert mode , we uploaded again infotype 0006 subtype 0001 in ECC system and Ran the PFAL again with the object type 'P' in insert mode for all the Employees .
After that to synchronize the data we ran Report HRALXSYNC in e-rec system , furher moving on we check the candidates in the Fast search application , there i can able to find two record for each internal candidate , but when we check the Relationship CP-P , CP-BP, CP-US all exists only one .
further to confirm this i Ran the PFAL for only one employee with insert mode , and again i could be find 3 entries in the fast search , increased by one .

If you are sure this problem will not occur again in the future, then you can run the standard webdynpro application DELETE_EXTERNAL_CANDIDATE in e-Recruiting system to get rid of the duplicate candidates....
This application will delete the candidate completely from the system, including all the CP and BP objects and relations.

Where to see approved VR for Recruiter to proceed further in EHP4 and SP4

Hi All,
We had implemeneted E-Rec system ECC 6.0. with EHP2. Now we had upgraded to EHP4. We have 3 levels of approval while creating vacancy requistion (VR). Absolutely there is no change after EHP4 applied and we are able to create VR successfully. But now problem is that where to see approved requisition details under Recruiter to proceed fyrther i.e job posting, candidate shortlisting and alll....
In EHP2 approved VR was available under recruiter > maintain requisition. But in EHP4, we are not able to see approved VR under recruiter role after all level of approval.
Are we missing somethins or we are refering wrong place?
Can anybody guide how to see approved VR details for Recruiter to proceed further?

Thanks for your response. Actually we have separate system for E-Rec set up because of concurrent employment activation.
We have developed vacancy requisition (VR) form in PCR and 3 levels of approvals are there which is happening via workflow. After upgrading EHP4, we are able to use same VR form (under MSS), workflow and able to process 3 levels of approval. After approval, VR object (NB) has been created in E-Rec system. Then we need to process under recruiter for job posting and candidate search and all. But we are not able to find approved requisition details under recruiter.
There are two roles for Recruiter in EHP4 named E-Rec admin and Recruiter.
1. Can you please guide where exactly we can see approved requisition details under recruiter for job posting,candidate selection and all? Do we need to do something?
2. After upgrading EHP4, most of the cases we are getting error "You are not authorized to execute this application". Are we doing something wrong? For exa:-
a) Recruiter > work overview > error
b) Recruiter > Requisition > Create /create by position/Candidate search > you are not authorized to execute this application occurs
c)Recruiter > Personal settings > Internal error
d)E-Recruiting admin > Services > delete registration /delete external candidate > Internal error
e)E-Recruiting admin > Central system administrator > Requisition management > authorization error and many....
3. However we are able to see approved VR under E-Recruiting administrator > adjust support team. But while clicking on any VR, we are getting below error.
"There is no iView available for system "SAP_ERP_TalentManagement": object "requisition". For more information, contact your administrator"
Can you please guide what we are doing wrong?

Succession Planning EHP4 data model, only STVN or backend?

Hi Guys
I'm currently investigating Succession Planning, and I have a few questions that I need confirmed or elaborated.
Running Succession planning with the newest data model, it can only be performed through STVN (Nakisa) or SAP Backend (HRTMC_PPOM, and related transactions)? Succession Planning in SAP Portal is only supported through the old e-Rec data model?

Hi Jan:
First off, as of EHP4, Succession Planning has been completely extracted from e-Recruiting. They are two completely different pieces of functionality with completely different data models.
You can run a completely functional Succession Planning implementation without Nakisa. It will be A LOT less pretty as HRTMC_PPOM is much less attractive than STVN Succession Planning, but the great majority of Talent Management functionality in EHP4 is SAP delivered (as opposed to Nakisa delivered).

EREC: EHP4 - Create Requisition (Authorization)

Hello to all,
in our new EHP4 System we are getting everytime the error "You are not authorized to execute this application" when we want to create a new requisition in portal.
Where we get the message:
1) Erecruiting Administrator > Requisition Management > "You are not authorized to execute this application"
2) Recruiter > Requisitions > Create or create by position > "You are not authorized to execute this application"
3) Recruiter > Candidates > Candidate search > "You are not authorized to execute this application"
In SICF - default_host > sap > bc > webdynpro > sap   we have activated all Services like ERC_A_*
In SFW5 - we have activated HCM_ERC_CI_1;HCM_ERC_CI_2; HCM_ERC_CI_3
Using the new roles SAP_RCF_RECRUITER_ERC_CI_2 (Recruiter) and      SAP_RCF_REC_ADMIN_ERC_CI_2 (Rec Admin)
ERECRUIT Version 604 Level 8
But with all these definitions it is still not working
Can anybody help on this problem.

I found the reason for that authorization problem, I have to create an Business Partner
for each user in eRec.
That I have done with the program hr_sync_person or report hralxsync (both do the same).
Prerequisition, the integration between Organizational Management and SAP Business Partner must be active.
Have a look in: SAP HelpPortal unter http://help.sap.com -> Documentation -> mySAP ERP -> mySAP ERP 2005 -> Integration zum SAP-Geschäftspartner.
Change System Switch T77S0:   HRALX/HRAC, HRALX/OBPON, HRALX/PBHR
