Aif_ogl.dll file missing

aif_ogl.dll file missing in photoshop element 8
I have my serial number and everything but this message keeps coming up.
Is there anyway to fix this or to  reload photoshop elements 8 ?

The driver for Adobe Image Foundation should be in the following location (Program Files on Windows 32 bit).
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 8
If you can’t find it in the Photoshop Elements 8 folder, have you deleted it by mistake? Try looking in the recycle bin and if it’s there, highlight the file and click “Restore this item”

  • HT1923 I have iTunes installed on a PC running Windows 7. When I downloaded an iTunes update, iTunes wouldn't open, and diplayed a "system error" message: MSVC80.dll file missing. Does this indicate a Windows 7 problem? Is it fixable?

Unable to open iTunes on PC running Windows 7. Error message: MSVC80.dll missing. ITunes had been working normally until I downloaded an update, and the error message appeared.

    Hello bhillblom,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with installing the latest iTunes update.  I recommend following the steps below:
    Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
    Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
    Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
    Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
    Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.
When you get to the step to uninstall iTunes, it is important to uninstall iTunes and the related components in the order listed in the link for that step.

  • MSVCR80.dll file missing (after latest iTunes update).  Unable to reinstall iTunes either.  Fixes?

After installing the latest iTunes update, I am unable to open iTunes (The program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer).  Plugging in my iDevices won't prompt iTunes to open, either (they are viewed only as mass storage devices).  I attempted to reinstall iTunes, but recieved an error message that said I had insufficient rights to install (I am an administrator).  Is anyone else having similar problems?  Is there a way to fix it that won't include uninstalling the current version of iTunes?  Don't want to lose all my files!  Thanks for a rapid response, Community.  I appreciate all the help I can get.

    Hi bookishwench,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.  This article has steps you can take for the error you're seeing:

  • "I/O Error when Saving Document"; "PreflightLib.dll file missing or corrupt"

These error messages are received when trying to Save the document.  The document has Typewriter entries and added/replaced pages.  I have done this action almost every day for the past year without any problems.  Now it occurs on 2 different computers.  I have cleaned my registry and searched to see if I deleted or moved the ".dll" file - no luck.  What to do?  Work depends on the Acrobat program.  Please Help.

    Hi dhults,
Please follow these steps to manually re-register PreflightLib.dll file through command prompt:
    Click the Start button.
Type "command" in the search box... DO NOT hit ENTER yet!
While holding CTRL-Shift on your keyboard, hit ENTER.
You will be prompted with a permission dialog box.
    Click Yes.
    Type the following command: regsvr32 /u PreflightLib.dll.
Hit ENTER. This will UN-REGISTER your file.
    Type the following command: regsvr32 /i PreflightLib.dll.
Hit ENTER. This will RE-REGISTER your file.
    Close the command prompt window.
Re-start the program associated with PreflightLib.dll error.
If still an error occurs, then you may need to repair Acrobat. For that, go to Help menu and click 'Repair Acrobat Installation'.
I hope this will help you.

  • Lync 2013 installation problem - dll file missing

    Hi,
I've encountered this problem with Lync 2013 installation on 2 different computers.
    Error message:
    "perfboost.exe - System Error
The program can't start because appvisvsubsystems32.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
The first time i got this error was while installing Lync 2013 (32-bit ver.) for a user with an E1 Office 365 plan and an Office 2013 Home and Business suite installed (32-bit version) on a 64-bit Win 7 Pro machine. The installation completed despite the
error message but Lync could not connect to the server saying that "the server for
domain.eu cannot be found". I tried the manual configuration with the same result. I'm confident it's not a DNS problem as other users within the same domain are using Lync 2013 with no connectivity issues.
The second time I got the error was when installing Lync 2013 on a new machine, also with Office 2013 H&B 32-bit and Lync 2013 32-bit downloaded from the user's Office 365 account (also plan E1). The installation also completed but I had no problems
logging the user in (it's another user, same domain)
Anyone has a clue about this? Should I install the 64-bit Lync version instead? Would it conflict with the 32-bit Office 2013?
    Thanks.
    Luka

  • I am Using Itunes For Windows and have my entire music library synced on the laptop. When i tried upgrading to the new version i am getting a system error "MSVCR80.dll file missing". My itunes refuses to open.I have many playlists and songs which i want

    1. how Do I solve this issue.
    2. How do I ensure that i do not lose my playlists along with the songs.
    3. What is the procedure needed to be followed.

Ok, I had a glitch, forced to restart, and lost my train of thought.
Reinstalling iTunes should fix the major issue that might have gone wrong, perhaps your explaination points will disappear and everything will be peachy again.
But if they don't, you can open the XML file in iTunes Folder using a Text edit program to see what the common pathname is to the iTunes Music folder or where your content is located.
If you moved the itunes folder, it needs to go back.
I can't  download iTunes to my Vista virtual machine to test it out right now because iTunes is down, so I can't verify the pathname, perhaps your issue and the iTunes being down are related somehow?
You don't want to import all your music again, but it's a option, but you lose all your playlists, that's what I'm trying to recover.
If oyu don't have a whole lot of playlists, then simply select all the explaimation point music and delete, select File from the menu and import your itunes folder again.

  • "xpcom.dll" file missing in Safari preventing browser from working

I cannot get Safari to work on my Windows 7 anymore. It started after the last upgrade to 5.1.7.
I have since then continously been receiving an error message every time I try to access settings.
I uninstalled the upgraded version and downgraded to an earlier Safari version. That gave me even more errors.
The browser is now uninstalled and I thought I ask for assistance before downloading it again... Grateful for any tips or advise.
I have read about this issue on other forums and walls, but so far, none of the offered solutions there is working in my case.
    Thanks in advance for reading!

I have the same issue with Safari, but with mp3 files not playing using a HTML5 player on my website. I have hotlink protection enabled and the audio plays on every other browser except Safari, so there's seems to be a problem playing any videos or mp3 files when hotlink protection is enabled.

  • After a notice of update, I was unable to use iTunes. It said I had a missing dll file and a Windows error 7. I removed iTunes and tried to reinstall. I selected the download items off the apple site. It says thank you but still not there.

Having problems downloading iTunes. After an update notice, I was unable to open iTunes. I de-installed and attempted to reinstall it and it still won't open.
The first error duirn the update was a dll file missing, then a Windows error 7. The screen on the Apple site say  Thank you for downloading, but still not there.

A msi file is short for microsoft installer.  It normally is for installation, removal, and maintenance for a program. So iTunes.msi would be used for the updating of the program.  For some reason it isnt finding this so we can't update, install, or remove it.
From what I have seen windows installer cleanup utility solved related problems before.
I found this forum about removing and installing a new iTunes.  It was about someone who was trying to isntall iTunes, and was looking for msi file and asked for help.   Using this should allow you to be able to install iTunes.  It won't give you the msi file but will allow you to isntall iTunes over again.
    This was what was said.
Another option in case you can't get an msi. (Or even if you can ... the msi's mentioned in the messages may be damaged rather than missing.)
Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeks are worth checking.)
After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Restart the PC, and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

  • HT201210 I installed latest iTunes software on my Windows 7 PC, and now I keep getting error messages. Mainly one stating that MSVCR80.dll is missing. Where do I get this file from?

I installed the latest iTunes software on my Dell Windows 7 PC. Durring installation, when it got to the "Starting Services" part, I got an error message:
    iTunes
Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Devices) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient priveleges to start system services.
    Abort    Retry   Ignore
    "Ignore" was highlighted.
I tried "Retry" but same message kept coming up, so I tried "Ignore"
Install completed. But when I tried to start iTunes, I got message:
    "iTunes.exe
The program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
    Followed by the message:
"iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126)."
I have tried the install procedure (after uninstalling iTunes) several times with the same results. Where do I get the file MSVCR80.dll? How do I get past this?

  • Error message on Windows 2000 startup, "Tcmsvr.dll, File is missing"

We get the same error messages three times on Windows 2000 startup on some of our companys computers: "Tcmsvr.dll, File is missing". The computers are Tecra s1 models.
Which Toshiba driver is this related to?

I have checked the Toshiba driver page and it seems that the common modules for Tecra S1 are not available.
Anyway, the Tcmsvr.dll file could be also a part of Toshiba console. Its very difficult to detect it.
The Toshiba console is available on the driver page.
    It's worth a try.

  • Just started getting an APS Daemon.exe-System Error saying my MSVCR80.dll file is missing.  I tried to reinstall itunes, but got another error message.  Anyone having this problem or know how to fix it?

Just last 2 days started getting an APS Daemon.exe-System Error saying my MSVCR80.dll file is missing when booting up my PC with Windows 7.  I tried to reinstall itunes, but got another error message.  Anyone having this problem or know how to fix it?
I now see the message from tt2 and will try that.  Thanks!

  • HT1925 I am having an issue with loading Itunes. I receive a missing dll file notice. Then another error message. I have reinstalled Windows & still get the error. I did not get the error until I recently did an ITunes update.

I am having an issue with ITunes after a recent ITunes update. I can not open ITunes, I get a message missing MSVCR80.dll file, Then an error 7 message. I have redone the OS for Windows 7 and restarted the computer. I keep getting the errors.

    Do the following:
Uninstall from Windows the following five programs: iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour and Apple Application Support. You do this from an applet in Control Panel called Programs & Features (in Windows 8, 7, or Vista) or Add or Remove Programs (in Windows XP).
Download the latest version of iTunes from Apple and note the location you're saving it to so you can find it once it's done.
Run the iTunes installation as an administrator, just Right click iTunes installer and Run as Administrator.

  • I have windows 8, 64 bit.  I am trying to install ITunes 64 bit installer, but keep getting an error message that says a .DLL file is missing.  How can I fix this?

After installing, whenever i try to open the application, it keeps popping up that some or the other .dll file is missing.
When I install that particular .dll file and then again try to re open, it says that someother file is missing. It keeps
    coming all the time.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
