As far as I can tell the issue is fairly explanatory. You are overriding the Font Name for Helvetica somewhere. Are you perhaps using a plist with font overrides?

three of my apps on my ipad keep crashing i just went to bed nd the next morning i went to use one them and it kept crashing i restarted my ipad i deleted and redownloaded the apps i updated my ipad and those three apps are still crashin. i think its something wrong with my ipad but idk what

Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

My iPad keeps crashing when I try to access Google Adwords? It crashes on Safari and Chrome?

If things doesn't improve, try (A) and (B)
    (A) Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.
    (B) Reset all settings
    Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings will be reset.

  • HT4623 Whydoes my IPad keep crashing and restsarting following IOS7 update? Jim

    Why
does my IPad keep crashing and restsarting following IOS7 update?

Immediately after installing iOS 7, my sister’s iPad 2 started crashing during ALL apps and restarting. She couldn’t go for longer than 10 seconds without a crash.
Took it to Apple Store and they did everything to try to fix it, and nothing worked, including:
Erase all content and settings and restore from back-up.
Erase all software and firmware, set up as new, did NOT restore back-up, and install iOS 7.
It kept crashing. So it was an internal problem with the iPad that wouldn’t work with iOS 7.
Her iPad 2 was out of warranty, but because of the software issue making it impossible for the device to work, they gave her a new one! Installed iOS 7 at the store (were there for 4 hours!) and the new one is working fine.

  • My ipad keeps crashing.

My iPad keeps crashing. I open up an app, and it shuts down back to the start screen. Not completely shutting down, just back to main screen.
I went into Apple store yesterday, and they did a restore, but not a complete one???  It is still doing it today.  I have backed up, and stored all of my pics on my laptop.  What to do from here?
    Pls help
    Thanks in advance

They told me it was a minor restore and not the larger one. I don't know exactly what that means. I don't think it was back to factory settings.  What hurdles will I have after that happens?  Anything should I prepare for?
Also, he told me since I backed up, if there an issue, I ay backed the issue, and therefore not eliminate it.
    Does that make sense?

My iPad keeps crashing when I try to watch video clips on facebook

    Hi, Keithrfrommelksham.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I would need clarification on if your iPad is restarting or the Facebook application closes to provided a better answer.  However, try going through the troubleshooting steps of the article below.  If the Facebook application closes and continues to do so upon going through these steps, you may have to reach out to the developer of the application.

  • TS3274 My iPad keeps crashing.

My iPad keeps crashing. Sometimes when I'm in safari or app the screen returns to the home screen for no apparent reason. A couple of times it even shut down completely. Any suggestions on what I can do to prevent this from happening?

    1. Close all inactive apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two and tap the minus sign to close app.
    2. Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple Logo

  • Pages on iPad keeps crashing

Recently (might be since the last update?) Pages app on my iPad keeps crashing druing basic operations on tables. It is impossible to work with. My iPad software is up to date. I tried deleting Pages and re-downloading it. The problem persists.
Also, how stupid is it, that I cannot get in touch with Apple regarding support for their own app which I bought three months ago, just because my iPad warranty has expired? I paid for the app seperatly after all, a long time after I bought my iPad...

By troubleshooting I've noticed the same issue and found my way to your post. There is a bug with tables. Using tables is an essential function of word processing for many people. This bug is crippling the app near unusable.
I was about to uninstall and reinstall to see if it fixes the problem, and I thank you for telling the community it does not. It multiplicatively saves everyone time.

  • IPad keeps crashing on all apps...safari, games, weather

iPad keeps crashing on all apps,,safari, games, weather,. After opening something about a minute it crashes. Very frustrating. Anyone with the same problem?

Well, what Nick wrote won't solve the issue. In fact, nowhere in the Apple discussion forums would you find the right answer; and I can guarantee, no Apple rep will be able to tell you what the issue is. Except me of course. Now that the self-boast is over, here's how to solve the problem once and for all (guaranteed zero crashes post this).
The basic crashing problem occurs because iPad 2 has an operating system that unfortunately opens up all apps automatically (unless instructed not to) and keeps them on the standby mode. This, combined with the fact that the iPad 2 does not have unlimited RAM (and neither does it have an intelligent process to use the hard disk when the RAM runs out), would lead to almost all iPad 2 units to crash, but only when users have loaded more number of apps than the RAM can handle.
There are three methods to resolve this issue for users (for developers and Apple tech personnel, the solutions are given later; you can contact me for the ex gratia OS source code updation to resolve this issue in case you wish):
SOLUTIONS FOR NEW USERS (warning: experienced users may find these instructions drawling out):
    1. The first method involves five concurrent steps, which I'll describe as 1a to 1e. Of course, this can be done in a shorter way, but I guess for people not conversant with shortcuts, this is better.
1a: Go to Settings > General > and switch on the "Multi tasking gestures" tab.
1b. Go to the home screen (by clicking on the Home Screen button on the iPad screen) and swipe four fingers from the bottom of the screen upwards. Do this once or twice and you'll suddenly see a new bench pop up below that contains many applications. These are the applications that are running on a stand by mode and eating up your RAM. Optimally, all of these should have been shut and only those which are being used by you should have been open. Anyway, move to 1c.
1c. On any of the app icons that you see on this new bench, keep a finger for a few seconds. Now lift your finger. You'll see all icons on the new bench start shaking - and they will additionally have a "-" sign too on their left. Click on this "-" sign and close all applications on the new bottom bench. Return to the Home Screen (click on the button on the iPad screen).
1d. The apps on the Home Screen are allocated the maximum RAM by the new OS. So, shift all downloaded apps away from the home screen into the subsequent pages. In other words, leave only the original Apple supplied apps (like Settings, Safari etc) on the main first page of the Home Screen. How does one shift other apps to subseqent pages? On any of the apps on the main Home Screen, keep a finger for a few seconds. Lift it the finger for god's sake :) Again, all icons will start shaking and will get a "x" sign on their top. DO NOT touch that "x" sign, which of course, is for deleting the app altogether. Rather, on any one of the non-original Apple apps that are present on the Home Screen, just  place your finger and without lifting the finger, slide the app to the top right corner of the screen and keep it there. You'll notice that the app suddenly gets shifted into the next page. Return to the Home Screen; repeat the process till "all" non original apps are shifted out.
1e. You can starrt working in peace right from this moment onwards without the ipad crashing. Just keep checking from time to time, how many apps are on standby (swipe four fingers upwards at any time on the iPad) and ensure that those that you are not using are closed.
1e rejoinder: Impotant instruction: NEVER work on your iPad2 while it is being recharged. The RAM gets screwed as in some iPads, there is no protective interface provided to insulate the CPU from the electrical currents. In fact, switch off your iPad while it is being recharged.
    SOLUTIONS FOR APPLE STAFF:
    1. Diret users to this thread.
    2. Offer users an upgraded RAM.
    3. Provide a protective interface to the CPU and RAM boxes from the electric charge.
    4. Recode the new OS (no need to copy what Vista does; just advise the OS to use the hard disk intelligently when app uage exceeds RAM; or do what Blackberry does - advice the users through a warning message to close down extra apps)
There you all go. (pardon the spelling mistakes; this was entered through a speech recognition sw)

  • Every since i updated to ios 5 my ipad keeps crashing

Since I updated to ios 5 my ipad keeps crashing. All you see is the Apple logo on the screen and thats as far as it goes. The only way to fix it is to restore it. Any suggestions?

Since iOS 5 has been available since September, I wonder why this is starting now ...
Anyway, which iPad version do you have ... the original one?  How did you load iOS 5 -- through iTunes?  On which operating system - windows or Mac?
Do you have an iPad backup?  Then yes, you should restore and reinstate the backup for starters.

    Try to reset the device:
    Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
    1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
    2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
    3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
