AIM Voice issue

I have K7N420 Pro MB
Maxtor 80G HD
256MB RAM
AMD 1800+ CPU
ACER CD burner
350W Ps
Using on-board NIC, Sound, Video.
External WebSTAR Cablemodem w/NAT Firewall, DHCP
AIM chat works but AIM voice does not.
I can record and play back using my microphone and speakers attached to the audio connectors on the rear of the computer.
Even setting computer on DMZ in Cablemodem, AIM voice does not work.
Is there anything in MB drivers set that is incompatable with AIM Voice?
Has anybody had success using AIM voice with this MB? :(

This issue occurs because Advanced Integration Module (AIM)-Cisco Unity Express (CUE) has run out of space. The problem centers around the clean up procedures that run on the module. This process is not running properly, so the module is not cleaning up the database and logs file as expected.To resolve this issue, clean the disk first. This defect applies to CUE versions 2.0.1 and 2.1.1. For a permanent solution, upgrade the CUE version to 2.1.2

    omg.. okay.. i thought about going to Costco and buying a Jawbone just to test it out.. but sounds like you guys have tried w/multiple bluetooth devices and it's not helping any .. what's even more sad is you've also stated you've exchanged your phones and it still doesn't get any better. i was hoping an exchange would help~i have read some ppl's stories that they exchanged their phone and their bluetooth problems got resolved (one guy even reporting ,w/a pic to show, being ~40ft away w/no issues!).. i get about 20ft and my bluetooth just straight up disconnects!
    but this is the crazy story:: im having a unique issue in my kitchen (which is very very small!).. i put my phone on the dining table and walk 4ft to the sink and ppl say i sound robotic, like the Transformers talk in the movie.. but if i walk elsewhere (not into the kitchen), it seems to work ok. now i have a Nextel phone too.. i can repeat what i do and not have any robotic sounds.. i have never had any problems using my bluetooth with my Nextel or my iPhone 3G, never ever-ever!! whut the heCKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!

    from today morning, the sound is not working means voice is coming only on speaker even with hands free.
    but without handsfree voice is not coming.

    I have called to my Operator Orange IL. The told me turn off my mobile for 3 minutes to reset my network connection, they did some with my sim remotely and then turn on, in additional a got a call from Nokia Care Point Israel, they told me to call after 1 week to check the FW again, bacause they just get the FW and do some tests on it.

  • 4.3 Upgrade S Voice Issues

    With the 4.3 upgrade, the SVoice recognition and audibility is terrible. The previous voice was pleasant sounding and very understandable, but the new voice sounds nasally and is difficult to understand. It also does not recognize my commands as well, and often replies that it can't find a network connection. Is there a way to get the previous SVoice back? Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

    I'm also having this along with many other issues brought on by the 4.3 update. Unfortunately, there are no announcments for a fix to these issues. There are many frustrated users out there experiencing much worse (including myself). See below for a short list of 4.3 issues:
    Major issues in new Android 4.3 update for Galaxy S III:-
    - Wake up lag (Sometimes it takes a few seconds to wake the device from standby and sometimes a few minutes)
    - Random Freezing
    - Huge battery drain
    - Bluetooth Audio issues during playback in car
    - Stuttering music playback with stock Samsung music app
    - Device freezes as soon a call is received (Black screen issue)
    - Poor RAM management (very difficult to multitask)
    - Wi-Fi issues

    I'm using cisco3825 as a voice gateway with concerto dialer software for outbound dialing for a call center.Agents are facing voice problems :like they can hear the customer but customer can't hear them.But it's not for all the agents at a time.
    I tried out and found some logic.Dsp resources which are using g711ulaw tx is 0, so voice no transmit.However no issue with g729r8 codecs
    Attaching my voice cofig and output.
    Is there any way only g729 codec use no g711 ???I'v tried several options but still not found any solution.

    Are you using CCM or CCME? Or other Switch?
    Which IOS you are using?
    So when you only use G711 you experience this problem?
    Let me know so we can narrow down the issue.

    My laptop Probook 4540S core i5 , 6 GB ram ddr3 , HD 750 GB , visual card 2 GB Radeon , Windwos 7 ultimate 32 Bit Service Pack 1  .
    My problem is the voice is too low at any vedio/audio player otherwise  all the drivers installed correctlly so i can't recognize the problem and the solution .

  • Aim login issue

    When I start iChat, it is fine. After a minute it freaks out, logs out, and trries to log in again so quick, that it gives me this message "you have attempted to login too often in too short a time. Wait a few minutes and try again" When I try again about half an hour later it does the same thing. I had been working before (has been fine for the past year), and just started.
    It happens on my intel and my g3. It doesn't happen in Adium, and I would use that, but i prefer iChat.

    Start with going to iChat > Preferences > Accounts > Security and checking all your Buddies have not been Added to the Block List.
    Next delete com.apple.ichat.AIM.plist and restart iChat.

  • Nokia C3 - Voice Issue

    I bought a Nokia C3, last month and after 2 days of Purchase, I'm having problem with it's Voice clarity. Echo is there and a lot of distrubance was also there. I got it repaired through Nokia Care, but even after that, the Echo problem has not been solved yet. Some other people who are using Nokia C3, told that, even they are having the Same Problem. Kindly advice what has to be done .

    Do you use a bluetooth handsfree or other bluetooth device? If yes, does this echo effect start after disconnected from the bluetooth handsfree and using the standard phone mic/speaker? Does the echo only exist on the caller's line (you don't have it, only the caller say there is a terrible echo on line) or if also you have the echo does the other person has a similar phone?
    I have a possible explanation that the echo effect is somehow relating with handsfree devices and appears after disconnected from the device. But it is possible that also something else start it.
    I have noticed that the only ways to stop the echo is either:
    1) Reconnect the handsfree device then the echo voice is gone and the caller can continue speaking even if you later disconnect the handsfree during the same call.
    2) Re-boot the phone and call back. It does not help to call back but you have to shut down the phone before calling back.
    The same echo problem seems to appear in C5 and E5 and maybe also E7. I quess that it might be software bug because it always stops after rebooting and also trying to use a handsfree for a while helps.

    I have a 6500 slide and have been told that you can set the phone to voice the name of a person calling you (if they are in you contact list)
    Can anyone advise how I switch this option on

  • Voice Memos Issue - 3GS

    I have an iPhone 3GS and I've had it for about a month.
    I have a band and we rehearse in a small storage space. I'd like to use my iPhone to record our rehearsals for when we come up with something good.
    Our first rehearsal, everything worked fine (though the recording sounds quite bad since the phone was being overloaded the whole time - but an overloaded recording is better than no recording). But tonight something weird happened. I noticed that Voice Memo stopped recording in the middle of us playing. I tried recording after that and the volume meter was not going up. I tried turning off the iPhone and turning it back on but it kept going in and out of whether it was picking up sound or not. The room was very loud the whole time, so it's impossible that the meter was reacting correctly. I checked the recordings and some parts have audio and some parts are just blank.
    I also noticed that sometimes when I was holding the phone it worked, but when ti set it down on my guitar case, the needle stopped moving.
    It was like if you have a bad audio cable or something. The sound just pops in and out - that's how the meter was reacting tonight, even after restarting the iPhone.
    What could be the issue? Is Voice Memo a buggy app, or is my iPhone defective? I've made a couple calls since the rehearsal, and there were no voice issues, so I know the mic is not broken or at least completely broken.

    I also have this problem on my 3G running os 3.1.3
    Any third party app or voice memo doesn't get any audio from the mic (apart from a wierd spike if you blow directly into it) but using the phone app, the voice comes through perfectly.
    It there a separate protocol being used by the phone app and other apps?
    If it helps, I noticed the problem in EXACTLY the same way (ie, recording a band practice, where one of the recordings just trailed off).
    The microphone has been intermittent ever since.
    As far as I can tell, this is not a very common problem, but I have seen a few other posts on another topic with this problem.
    Hopefully it will be resolved in OS 4, as the standard 3 steps didnt work.

  • I wish Digital Voice Support would resolve my issue.

    So I have had an ongoing Digital Voice issue for a month now, I have had several conversations, several trouble tickets opened and they have been closed and the issue is still not resolved. I spend over $200.00 a month for this triple play and all of a sudden I can't access Digital Voice, I can't block numbers, I can't turn on Do Not Disturb nothing. So I added a topic on here earlier to vent my frustration.
    I wonder why Verizon can monitor these boards quickly but can't resolve easy issue as quick. Perhaps they should hire QUALIFIED Technical Reps, rather then these people that have names you can't pronounce, when you call you are on hold for atleast an hour, when 90% of the time you are blindly transfered into another queue where you have another hour long wait. I have reviewed many posts on here so I am just one of many that find that the technical support is lacking at best.
    Does anyone have a email or telephone number to a Supervisor at Verizon? Maybe if I can contact a supervisor rather than a glorified operator I may get this frustrating issue resolved once and for all.....

  • Ichat AV to Trillian Pro via AIM - success!

    Just wanted to add my .02 to the discussion.
    I've been fiddling with various video chat clients for days to try and make voice/video calls to family using a PC in Nebraska from our home in CA. I think i've tried just about every one of them, with wildly varying levels of success. Most of them just can't deliver the framerate and overall quality of the Ichat/AIM combo.
    I've been lucky in that i'm able to test the software with a PC laptop and my Imac G5 both webcam equipped (quickcam express on the pc, isight on the mac). The connection is made via my airport extreme base by both systems over the AIM service. Mac firewall is OFF, PC firewall is allowing AIM and Trillian ports. I've found that once a connection is made, it's extremely reliable - no drops, very good framerates. But - when the service doesn't want to connect, it just doesn't want to connect.
    However when testing I sometimes can't initiate reliably from the PC side either. That's not to say that it won't work - it does, and it works quite well from both sides when the service decides to work. I can sometimes go for hours with no luck starting the attempt on either side. Then the next day - no problems at all. This must be an AIM transport issue and not system dependant.
    I ran into a period of good success last night, and immediately called our family in Nebraska to start up a Trillian Pro to Ichat AV chat - and it worked flawlessly - PC user was able to resize the chat window all the way up to full screen, and video and audio were as clear as you would expect from a mid-range PC webcam.
    When not working, I get the same old "Cliff did not respond" message and an error on the PC side as well.
    When working, everything starts as it should, and Trillian Pro allows the PC user to re-size the video window all the way up to full screen...with a very Ichat AV-like Pic in Pic display.
    The newest AIM client does tend to work more often - and I still encounter the problem of the PC user being able to succesfully start a chat while the mac user is not. At times though, it will work flawlessly.
    All in all, it works just about as reliably as i'd expect it would. This is a free implementation of something corporations pay thousands of dollars in equipment and multiple ISDN lines to do.

    Well, I have to say how frustrating the last few days have been.
    My relatives in NE that I mentioned in the first post had a computer problem (windows xp....go figure) and had to reformat/reinstall.
    Of course, this has completely hosed trillian pro.
    I walked them through the setup process on the phone and we are now unable to start a video chat in either direction.
    We ended up falling back to a PC laptop and Yahoo IM on a PC in my home - which, wouldn't you know it, works flawlessly with video/voice chat! How about that...
    Please apple - make this work reliably. This is really ridiculous.
    Go with MSN or Yahoo and make this work. Heck...stick with AIM and make this work.
    I bought a $150 firewire webcam for this and it's extremely dissapointing.
    I appreciate the noble efforts of Ralph Johns and everyone else who are documenting the troubleshooting steps - but let me tell you - i've got the most generic brown-bag apple setup you could imagine - Imac G5, Airport Extreme, really, really dumb RCS 425 cable modem and the Isight firewire camera - and it simply doesn't work.
    I have changed/opened ports, turned my mac firewall off, had the PC user turn their firewall off, followed all of the steps mentioned in the various problem threads - Folks, it just DOESN'T work.
    Period.

  • IChat no longer connects AIM

    Have been using iChat (w/ my AIM account) with no problem until today.  The only thing different is that I downloaded the new version of iTunes, in prep for downloading IO5 for my iPhone (have NOT downloaded IO5 yet).  After the restart, iChat ceased to work - it will not connect.  Have not seen anyone else with this issue nor did I see any AIM-specific issues when I searched... so...  any thoughts?

    If you still want to use you can change the server to slogin.oscar.aol.com with port 443 and check SSL. Seems to work for me.
