Aio remote and hp7525

iPhone and iPad apps can't find printer on wifi LAN. Can print from other computers on the network via wifi connection. iPad and iPhone can are on the network. Have done all the HP troubleshooting steps.

Hi rlindsay,
Thank you for being a member of the HP Support Forums.  I see that you are unable to find your Photosmart 7525 printer with the HP AiO Printer Remote app.
I have included the HP All-in-One Printer Remote Mobile App FAQ document.  One of the questions is “Why can’t my mobile device find a printer on my wireless network?”.  It will walk you through several things to check so your mobile device can find the printer.
If the above document doesn’t help, please try uninstalling and then reinstalling the app.
Please let me know how it goes.

  • Using AiO Remote and HP ePrint to remotly control printer

    Hi,
With ePrint Home and Biz and the previous version of the AIO remote app, I was able to control the scanner and printer as long as I remained connected to the Internet.  In other words, I did not have to be within reach of the wireless network at home to be use the wireless features of the HP Office Jet Pro 8600.   I cannot find the way to scan or copy any documenta even if not at home.   All these could be done if there was someone at home who would be able to place the documents on the glass.
Is this feature available the HP connect and current ePrint?
    Thank you,
    Alvaro A.

    Hello traveler021,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
Regarding your question about the AiO Remote app and ePrint when trying to scan or copy with the Officejet 8600, you have to be on the same WiFi network.
The AiO Remote app does not allow you to control scanning or copying over the Internet. I do apologize for being the bearer of bad news, but this is not available without being on the same network.

  • AiO Remote and LaserJet

I have a HP LaserJet CM1415fnw and the firmware is 20131028.
It prints perfectly from my PC Windows 7(64bit) and quarter size from my Ipad iOS 7.0.6.
If I use HP ePrint it prints but I get a dirty shadow repeat 56mm down the page for the bottom half of the sheet which is unacceptable.
I would like to use AiO Remote but the program cannot find my printer which is connected to my router by an ethernet cable any ideas would be appreciated?

    Hello kingfishers,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you are trying to print to your Laserjet CM1415fnw printer. You indicated you have a couple of different issues; printing from iPad is smaller than from your computer, you have print quality issues when using ePrint, and the AiO app doesn't find your printer.
To better assist you, would you please provide some further information:
    1)       When trying to print from your iPad are you using Apple's AirPrint feature or the HP ePrint app? Are you trying to print a photo from your iPad when your documents seems to shrink to roughly 1/4 the size?
    2)      Are you getting the "dirty shadow" when you print the same document from your computer? Are you emailing the document to the printer or are you using the HP ePrint app?
    3)      You indicated that your printer is plugged into your router using an ethernet cable which would be why the HP All-in-One Printer Remote app cannot find it.  I've included The Printer Does Not Support Ethernet (Wired) and Wireless Network Connections at the Same Time for your reference.

  • IPad app AiO Remote

I scanned document with IPad app AiO Remote and HP printer.
App created .pdf file 306 Mb in documents folder on my iPad Air iOS 8
When I tried to open document in AiO Remote, I receive error:
Not enough memory to complete operation.
And then .pdf preview window showed error
    The operation couldn't be completed.
    NSURLERRORDOMAIN error -999
Is there any way to save my scanned .pdf document and what is this error means?
Is this some restriction about size of scanned document in AiO a Remote? Or just a bug?

    Hello @Justromagod ,
    Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand that you are getting error messages when trying to use the AIO remote app.
    I would like to help.
I get the 'Not enough memory to complete operation' message tells me that you might be running out of room on the iPad.
Also, the -999 error usually  means: another request is made before the previous request is completed.
You could uninstall, then reinstall the app.

  • Aio remote can't find printer

I have a HP Envy 4507. My AiO Remote app can't find it. This is not a compatibility issue as I have been selling 4507's which I demonstrate by connecting to them. I originally was able to connect on the one at home but not lately. I keep on seeing the one from work. HP ePrint sees the home one fine. I have reinstalled AiO Remote and now it cannot see any printers, no matter how I try to connect. Tried ip address, direct (which was working before) and through wireless router which worked when I first set it up.

    Hi,
Thinsg to quickly check would that there has been no recent  wifi password changes - if there has been any, they password would need to be re-entered into both the mobile device and printer.
Another quick thing to try is restarting the mobile device - this sometimes helps re-establish the  connection.

  • HP AiO Remote app will not recognize scan and copy function of HP Envy 120

Good morning! HP AiO Remote App is installed on my iPad4 and in the same WiFi network with my HP Envy 120 printer. The printer is recognized by the app and marked with a green led. When I tap on scan or copy in the app menu, it tells me that these functions were available in the app only for printers which provide these features. But HP Envy 120 has both scanner and copier. And last time it worked. Some idea what could have happened here? Thanks. UJ

Hi UJKarl, welcome to the HP Forums. You should be able to scan from the HP AIO Remote App on your Envy 120 printer. You probably just need to power cycle the printer, iPad and router to regain proper function.
Turn off your printer with the power button. Power down the iPad by holding the sleep button down until you get the option to 'slide to power off'. Then disconnect the power cord to your router and count to about 10, and then plug it back in. Once the router comes back online, turn the printer on. When the printer comes back online (blue wi-fi light stops blinking), then power the iPad back up. Try again, and it should work.
Let me know how it turns out.

  • HP AIO Remote shows wireless printer offline when it is online and can print to it.

HP AIO Remote installed on my Windows 8.1 Yoga 2 shows my wireless printer is offline, when it is online and I can print to it wirelessly.  How can I get it to recognize my wireless printer is online wirelessly?  AIO Remote will only recognize the printer is online when the USB in connected to the Yoga 2.

    Hi rpmcintyre,
Thank you for the additional information.  I apologize for misunderstanding. I just want to confirm that the HP AiO app that you downloaded onto your Windows 8.1 computer is showing your printer as offline when you are able to print wirelessly to the printer.
I have two different documents for you.  The first one is How to Use the HP AiO Remote App for Windows 8.  It has a FAQ section at the bottom of the document with trouble shooting steps.  I have also included the Supported Printers for the HP Scan and Capture App.
If the above documents don’t assist you, would you please let me know which make/model/product number of HP printer that you have? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?

  • HP LaserJet Pro M177fw and AIO Remote App

Will HP AIO App remote supports HP LaserJet Pro M177fw Multifunction Printer later.
Or is there any other way to control the printer to scan without going back to my computer?

    @Ashley8
With regards to the no support of the AiO remote app and the m177, this is only on the iOS and android app.
You will need to use your desktop/computer as your go to scan for the m177.

  • AIO Remote

Can you tell me why I can use HP e-print on my Ipad but my C4385 is not compatible with AIO remote. My Ipad has no problem finding and printing on my C4385 using HP e-print. However AIO can not find my printer. Every other scan and print app that I have tested has no problem finding my C4385. How is it that this HP software can't find one of its Owen. The printer is connected through the same network as my Ipad.
    Thanks !

    Hi Florami,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that the HP All-in-One Printer Remote app is not scanning from your Photosmart C4385 printer.
I have included a document about which printers support the various HP Cloud services. Your printer is not a supported printer for the AiO app.

  • Printer app (hp aio remote)

When I want to print from the app I choose photos
and the I get all my photos but I get the oldest ones
first and I have to scroll all the way to the bottom
to get the newest photos. I have ca 3000 photos
so it's boring to have to scoll down every time.
In the photo file on ipad/iphone you get
    the newest photoes first.
Is it possible to get the newest photos first in
the Printer app (hp aio remote)?

    Hi @Johannesnorway,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you would like to change the sort order of your photos in the HP All-in-One Printer Remote app.
There currently is not a way to change the sort order. I have included the HP ePrintCenter Submit New Idea page if you choose to submit your idea.

  • HP AiO remote doesn't recognize 3rd party toner as compatible in LaserJet M1217nfw MFP

    Hi,
I have a HP Envy 17 running Windows 8.1, a MacBook Air, an iPhone and a HP LaserJet M1217nfw MFP.  I recently replaced the toner with a 3rd party replacement cartridge and while the printer does give me a "supply memory error" I am still able to print just fine from the Mac and my phone.  I am unable however to print from my Envy.  The HP All-in-One Remote app in Windows 8 gives me an "incompatible cartridge" message and says there are no solutions availble.  Is there a work-around to this?
I am not very good at Windows 8....
    Thanks

    Hi Thaddeus,
Although the printer may resoponse to some commands, a supply memory error is an error state about the used cartridge.
Due the error message on the screen the HP AIO Remote recognize the cartridge as incompatible, that cannot be bypassed
with any settings, resolving the issue which cause the error message is the only key to resolve a such.
If the HP AiO Remote fails to print in such condition the only solution is to fully resolve the condition by following the steps listed in my previous post.

  • Hp aio remote app on iPhone won't scan to my hp photosmart 7515

hp aio remote app "there was a problem during scanning. check scanner and try again" when using hp photosmart 7515 however this is a new issue the app scanning worked before. Also I can no longer print or scan unless at home and connected to my network

    Hello @mbranch37,
    Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand that you are having a problem with the AIO app, as well as what sounds like a web services issue.
    I would like to help.
Before working with the app, I would like to make sure the printer is fine.
On the front panel of your printer touch the Web Services icon. (also known as the ePrint button)
If you get a server connection error, I would set a manual DNS.
The following post by happytohelp01, has instructions for setting the manual DNS.
If for some reason the printers email or ePrint address has changed, you will have to set it up again.
If the email is the same and you do not get any error messages, try cycling your network.
Turn off the printer and other network devices.
Unplug the power to your router for at least a minute.
Plug the power cord back into the router.
Turn on all your network devices.
Wait until the blue wireless light on your printer stops blinking.

  • AIO remote does not find my printer

I changed Internet providers a few months ago. I have not been able to print from my iPhone or iPad since then. AIO remote does not find my printer at all.

    Hi,
Both AirPrint and the HP AIO Remote app relies on Multicasting, a such have to be supported and enabled by your router.
Some routers support a such by default, some require settings changes and some do not support Multicasting which required for a such.
Please clarify your router brand and model to better understand any possible steps to try.
