.aip filters not loading with Illustrator 10

I have a recuring problem that my 'Art On Path.aip' and my 'Scatter Brush Tool.aip' do not load or are read by Illustrator 10 during it's start up.
I have tried un-installing everything Abode and re-installing it, I've tried replacing files from another computer but everything is to no avail.
I require Illustrator 10 as it's the only version that exports to .cgm so it is invaluable to my job so upgrading is not an option.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Program was unlaunched and so inactive, I moved the 'Required' folder and launched Illustrator, error message popped up that with a list of aip filters not loaded. I shut Illustrator down and placed the 'Required' folder back into it's original place, relaunched Illustrator but it returned with my original message that 'Art On Path.aip' and my 'Scatter Brush Tool.aip' were not loaded.
When I un-installed all my Adobe products I did clean out my registery with a registry cleaner with a computer reboot throughout the un-installing and subsequent re-installation process. The only thing I haven't loaded is my Acrobat Exchange & Distiller asyet.
Frustrating ...

Pdf/x-4 2010 pdf preset made via Indesign not compatible with Illustrator?

Hello all
I am working with a digital printing company and want to create a pdf preset that they can distribute to their customers to help make sure pdfs are properly made for their workflow. We've tested pdf/x-4 on their equipment and want to make that standard the base for their preset.
I made a preset in IndesignCC which shows up and is accessible in InDesignCC and PhotoshopCC, but is not accessible in IllustratorCC. It does not show up in the presets list in the "save as... pdf" dialogue. It does show up in the Edit>Adobe PDF Presets function though.
When I attempt to load the .joboptions file into Illustrator via that Adobe PDF Presets function I get the error "The preset is not recognized as a valid .joboptions file."
I noticed that IllustratorCC is using the pdf/x-4 (2008) standard, while InDesignCC is using the pdf/x-4 (2010).
Is IllustratorCC not yet compatible with the 2010 standard? If not, this is a serious wrench in the pdf preset workflow that allows the applications to share .joboptions files amongt themselves.
Any thoughts or help solving the problem of sharing that InDesign Generated preset with Illustrator would be much appreciated.

Hi jdanek, thanks for replying. PDF/x-4 supports transparency natively, supports multiple color spaces (this allows the vendor's rips to handle color conversion), and is an excellent option for their PDF print engine workflow. They want a custom variety that sets the resolution, bleed, etc. to give to their customers.
I did resolve the issue by making a new preset in Illustrator. That one is also available in InDesign and Photoshop but still, I'm curious as to why the InDesign-made preset is not compatible with Illustrator.

I have restored
I have backuped
I have erased all content
I have rebooted
I have DFUed.
I have also the same issue with iTunes on pc, with -50 error.
Is this an apple server error?!

Thom_d, you mean your 4s work smoothly? my 4s also 32gb look to be more laggy especially playing asphalt8, infinity blade2, etc... the graphic will stop for few second while you racing.. Are you sure you didn't encounter this kind of problem? About battery life, it only last for 5hours without 3g services(only using wifi). Pretty shock saw what you mention above.

What OS version are you using?
What are the full specs. of the AV file, that is not Importing with Audio?
What Project did you set up, at New Project?
Exactly what steps were used to Import that AV file?
Did you allow adequate time for PrE 12 to Conform the Audio portion of your file?

Photoshop CS5 does not load with Lion upgrade

The pop-up note says java runtime is needed but internet connection is not detectable. Diagnostics say internet connections exists. CS5 operated well on Snow Leopard for my intel i-mac. Any ideas why CS5 applications will not load on Lion OS?

Hi, Have you tried to manually download it from the Apple Support Page?
If that didn't work, have you tried to download it on another computer and transfer it and install it?
I've found an KB article from Adobe that lists known issues with Adobe products on Mac OS 10.7 Lion.

Filters not working with Tomcat 5

Hi,
I've attempted to implement a filter in my JSP program. Below is the web.xml I'm using and the filter implementation.
The problem is doFilter simply isn't being called. init is called because when I do an ant reload it print my error into the log but doPost never prints anything anywhere. Please help!!! I'm completely foxed.
I thought it might be something to do with the FilterConfig as I don't understand how its set or called but as I don't understand, I don't know?

First of all this is not correct:

Also note that with this mapping configured onlt Servlets/JSPs called using the URL <your_domain>/<your_context>/Controller will be called.
Any other urls will not be subject to the filter.
I don't know all there is to know about filters, but I would be concerned that maybe your connection object is not thread safe being defined in the scope that it is.

Garageband 3.01 will not load with System 10.4.4,5 or 6

I upgraded to system 10.4.4 (then .5 and .6) on my 17in POWERBOOK 1.67. What a mistake. Not only does Garageband 3.0 or 3.0.1 not load but the Help feature in every program crashes whenver I try to use it. The BACKUP application for my .mac account also just spins the beachball and quits. I have repaired permissions, rebooted in SAFE mode, tunrned off Log-in items: all to no avail. Any suggestions as to why this systme upgrade screws up several APPLE applications?

Thanks for your suggesitons. Unfortunately none of them solved the problem so I went back to the starting line and reinstalled the original system 10.4 then upgraded to 10.3.9 and then reinstalled Garageband from iLife 06. The application opened. Unfortunately some websites on Safari do not open as usual so it is another round of troubleshooting. Tiger has bitten me once too often. sigh

Hi Paul,
i would suggest using single user mode.
Restart your computer. When the screen goes black,
hold down the "apple" key and the "S" key until you
get a black screen with white letters. When the
prompt shows up, type this exactly:
/sbin/fsck -fy
Notice the space before the -fy.
If this doesn't work, you should boot from your
system install CD/DVD or most recent OS install
CD/DVD and run Disk Utility to repair the disk and
repair the permissions.

Images not loading with ML

Pretty much trouble free with the upgrade except for a couple of issues:
1. Images on Safari are not loading on a lot of webpages ... getting the deadly blue box instead.
2. MBA is extremely slow to start up or shut down. Prior to ML my MBA started and shut down within seconds now it's taking as much as a couple of minutes. Its acting like it has a HD.

Try a different Airport Channel.
Open AirPort Utility, located in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on a computer using Mac OS X.
Select the device you’re setting up, and then click Manual Setup. Enter the base station password if necessary
Click AirPort in the toolbar, and then click Wireless.
Choose a new channel from the Channel pop-up menu.
If that doesn't help, go to /Library/Preferences. Move all the files in the System Configuration folder to the Trash, restart your Mac.

Fash Images will not load with Firefox

Currently Flash images will not auto load with Firefox on my mac 10.4. All flash images show with an arrow I must click to make them appear every time I visit a page.
I do have the most updated version of Flash (10.2.152.33). I have checked their site for all troubleshooting possibilities as well as the FF forum & nothing has made these images auto load. I do have load Images automatically in my Preferences: Content. This is only happening with Firefox & not all browsers.
I do remember having to add some Security: Install Add-On Exceptions a few updates back in FF back when I had this problem. Adding them fixed the problem, however the next update made the issue reoccur. I've looked for additional exceptions & possibilities to include & found nothing. My current list of add on exceptions include: addons.mozilla.org, getpersonas.com, & update.mozilla.org. Removing these does not fix the problem & re-entering them does not fix the problem. All flash images still show as arrows that must be clicked to load to view for my Firefox browser only. This does not occur in any other browser.

alright. I've found that Firefox has a Flashblock setting & I have found a way to disable it if I customize & add an icon to my toolbar however I would like to learn how to change that setting without having to add that icon. Where in the settings does it allow me to change/adjust the flashblock?

ATI Catalyst Control Center is not loading with the latest drivers. Help!!!

I have installed latest ATI drivers from Lenovo 8.712. After that ATI Catalyst Control Center is not loading. The icon is present, when I click display properties. But when I click it, nothing happens. How can I downgrade to the previous version?
And another question: I have a docking station and 2 monitors. One of the monitors with DVI connection is working fine. Is there any way to disable laptop screen and enable second monitor through analog D-SUB.

Audio data not loading with certain clips. Premiere Pro CC 2014, using .mts files

When I open a project, sometimes a clip will not load its audio data. In the photo I've attached, you can see the video clip on the right has the waveforms showing up, but not for the clip on the left. Rendering does nothing, I've tried clearing Premiere's cache, and I've signed out and back into Creative Cloud as I saw in another forum post with no success...any suggestions?

Right clicking, and selecting "make offline" then re-linking the media seems to work. Thanks! Just weird how this happens sporadically with different clips in different projects when I open them.

Page data does not load with goButton? (new window of identical page)

Hi guys. I ran into a problem. Essentially, I need to print a .jsff page but before I do, I have to alter its format a little bit. The solution I decided to use was to create a new .jspx page containing almost the exact same content. I even copied the data bindings and everything. Finally, I created a goButton on my original page like so:

Hi guys. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. I finally got a working solution, something totally different from the suggestions.
My goal was to print a .jsff page nicely. But before I could do that, I needed to modify some data on the page. I also wanted to do this in as few clicks as possible. I tried the goButton technique but the binding data would not load. I couldnt figure out why.
Nonetheless, I finally managed to make my own version (albeit, not that neat!). I accomplished this by essentially making a template which automatically opens in showprintablebehavior format. I tried to follow a bunch of online tutorials/blogs but nothing worked for me. Here are the steps I used:
1) Creating a new .jspx page.
2) Copy the entire source of the .jsff page (the one which needs to be printed) into our new template .jspx page. (do have to modify the beginning parts by adding <af:document> <af:form> etc)
3) Create a pageDef for the template page and copy the entire pageDef as well (do have to change the name of the pagedef)
4) Modify your print template to your liking.
5) Add a taskflow rule that links the original .jsff page to the new template page
6) Add a commandButton on the original .jsff page which opens this printing page in a new window (remember to use "dialog:....."). Here is mine:

What this does is when you click on the command button to open the printer template, our template page opens but as it opens, it automatically sets focus to the printer button using the document tag. The printer button has a listener which activates when it receives focus (in our case, as soon as the page loads). This listener invokes the javascript method, which progamatically clicks the printer button and closes this window. What your left with is a printer friendly page of your modified page!
All the data is present there too!

Adobe photoshop elements 8 and premier elements 8 will not load with security numbers.

purchase HP computer in 2011. hard drive crashed. replaced for free by HP.
but software never reloaded on computer.
computer now works and I cannot load adobe software that was never used.
Office did load with help of computer geek today.

Go into the program files (program files(x86) for a 64-bit system), find the Elements 8 folder and within that Plug-ins>ImportModules and delete the Adobe TWAIN plugin. (You may have trouble scanning directly into the editor after doing this)

Btyahoo homepage not loading with Safari on iPad

Safari will not load my Bt Yahoo homepage, all other web page load ok.

On further investigation it seems that BT is changing servers this month (October 2013) from Yahoo to BT's own. This means that the BT/Yahoo page will dissapear altogether. The BT help desk does not give you this information. all they tell you that it is either a fault on the iPad or Safari. The BTYahoo home page is loading OK on the iMac at the moment but I suppose we will be loosing that soon.
