I've just tried to run an air app on iOS 6 but all the vistual elements doesn't render properly, e.g. the tab view cannot render tab icons/tab bar, the action bar cannot render anything at all plus all other components...
Please let me know if you have any idea about that.

Firstly the GPU issue has been fixed but the autoOrients property is still not working with the latest "AIR SDK 3.3.0.3690 SDK + iOS 6 Beta 2 SDK" on an iPhone 4S with iOS 6 Beta.
I cannot use this combination below, except I take out the second line:

I have seen some similar topics matching my issue so I decided to post my case also on your forum. Would appreciate a lot if anyone could please help. Recently I bought new computer with Windows 8 (Lenovo PC). When I try to access Control Panel I get windows
error message with red circle icon and ''X'' inside. The content of error message is ''26EE0668-A00A-44D7-9371-BEB064C98683'' and under this id is the sentence in our ''nonenglish'' language so I will try my best to translate as good as possible, it is: ''Assignment
of User Accounts Names and security IDs weren't done''.
Please note, EXTREMLY IMPORTANT: I am 100% sure when this problem occurred and I am at least 95% sure what caused the problem. I decided to set up the windows 8 logon password - the password
which is asked right before windows 8's start screen occurs and right before windows desktop with icons and taskbar occurs. I wanted to have one so I didn't have much troubles setting it up but later I didn't like it due to reasons that are offtopic to this
question. So I decided to delete it but I didn't know how to do that - researched a lot of instructions and nothing helped. So it seems like I completely damaged my own top priority (admin) user account with something I shouldn't have done.
Also please note: I have already said this problem is in my case surely linked to corrupted user account ID. I think (however here I am
not that sure anymore as I was what I was typing in previous paragraph) I even know which exact step of procedure of my work (trying to figure out how to delete logon password so it would go right
to the start menu page and then to desktop with icons). I clicked on win keyboard key + r to come into ''Run'' and typed there ''netplwiz'' because according to some instructions I found I thought I would be able to delete password logon request there.
In this window I am referring to, I then deleted the only and only entry in the tab Users under ''Users Of This Computer''. Shouldn't have done that. Button ''add'' is still there and ISN'T even grayed out but doesn't respond when i click it (see latest
consequence in ''Consequences'' part of my message below). I then saw that my user account id is somewhere and somehow (not sure where exactly I was) recognized which means it still exist but it is completely corrupted. I then found information online I could
make new user account name and copy data there but I am searching for DIFFERENT solution that would fix the problem.
Here are few consequences of this problem (same problem in safemode):
- I cannot access Control Panel via right hand taskbar menu because it is showing the error message (see second paragraph of this message after the first one ''hello all'')
- via same right hand taskbar via Search, I can access Control Panel BUT I cannot click ANYTHING there
- 90% of programs don't even run including ALL (EXCEPT ccleaner) tools that are anyhow related to ''nasty'' files cleaning, such as pc health advisor, malwarebytes,...
- Norton isn't responding. Doesn't report any windows when i download something with answer whether or not file is safe.
- at least half of programs, when i try to run them, aren't responding (freezes)
- cannot do ''sfc /scannow'' in cmd because it says im not administrator but i am
- many buttons, when trying to click them, don't even ''respond'' and many more consequences.
I am VERY new with Windows 8, very very new. And even further - my windows 8 isn't in english so I would appreciate if you could provide very detailed steps how to obtain something in order to click/type it.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

Other people have also posted recently about being asked the questions despite it not being the first purchase on the computer or device.
If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57

If this is an Alienware system, the most likely culprit is the Bigfoot Networks LSP as per the following document:
Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store
Head to the Downloads and Drivers page at Dell for your particular model of Alienware. Look for available updates for your BigFoot networking device. If you update those drivers, does that give you back your Store access?

TS4036 I haven't used my ipad for several weeks and now it is locked and displaying 'This ipad hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks. Backups happen when this ipad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi'. I cannot do anything at all.

After the terrible trouble even getting Premiere to launch because of it's seriously annoying habit of trying to load every single VST plugin it finds including stuff I just do not - ever - want to use in Premiere & finding I have no choice, yet still have other stuff I would like to use unavailable because of some arbitrary limitation - the complete lack of a plugin manager is a scandal. If Premiere would load just it's own stuff by default and allow me to choose what I want to use (as Adobe's AUDIO application does, so why the VIDEO one cannot do the same is beyond my understanding).
Sorry for the rant - half of this might be why things are not working in the first place.
During initial launch, I get repeated crashes, vanishing to desktop, plugins that are authorized telling me they are "No Valid License Detected", iLOK keys vanishing (PPro tells me I have no iLOK, yet I do & they work in all other apps).
Then I get to a stable workspace - hurrah. Problems over.
Er, no.
I try to export a simple DV AVI file.
AME now starts to load lots of pointless plugins (WHY?) and crashes repeatedly. When it does (AFter 6 crashes) start, it then proceeds to tell me that it cannot read from the source file, and export stops.
What do I have to do to make this work??
CS3 is fine - for the moment - as I have not yet allowed CS4 to update itself due to other massive issues on a different machine with 4.01 killing a working 4.0 install.
Someone please help!!

My Toshiba satellite cannot load anything at all

my laptop is Toshiba L755-16H, windows 8.1 update
All what I get now is   the first screen of “Toshiba Leaading Innovation” and “H2O bios” then the logo of windows 8 (4 blue quartered window) then black screen with flashing cursor and the mouse arrow, and it keeps like that.
The details as follows:
it was working normally until certain critical update is installed from Windows update, then it refuses to load windows at all and gives error message.
1-      in the beginning i tried to get into recovery options> advanced options> repair start up> but no benefit.
2-      then i tried system restore> it failed and no benefit.
3-      then system refresh> but i have windows 8 dvd not 8.1 so it said not suitable cd
4-      then i searched the internet to enable safe mood and entered the following command in command prompt:
“bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy” (no quotes)

and I could get into safe mood and tried to do system restore but it failed also.
After that I couldn’t boot the computer at all or even get into the system BIOS setup with F2 or F8 or F12.
Also I tried to enter the dvd of the Laptop Recovery or the dvd of windows 8 but the they spins for little seconds and nothing happens although I am sure the dvd rom is the first in booting sequence, (but the dvd rom sometimes fails to read some disks)
I tried to disconnect the power supply and remove the battery then press the power button for 2 minutes > but no benefit.
I tried to press 0 (zero) with the power button on starting up and keep pressing zero to go to factory settings but no benefit.
Please Help me . The computer is completely useless and I can’t get into any options at all. What can I do?????

HT1695 New iPhone 5 -only able to get wifi when sitting next to router. My old 3GS with iOS 5.1 works fine all over house. Any ideas on how I can get my new iPhone 5 to work as well as old 3GS?

I just got my new iPhone 5 yesterday. I'm having difficulty maintaining a wifi connection. I can get reception when I'm sitting next to router but I get a short distance away and I get the message 'unable to connect to network'. My old iPhone 3GS works fine at same places where new iPhone 5 won't connect. I still am using ios 5.1 on 3GS. I've turned off my old phone to make sure it isn't causing some type of interference and also switched off the cellular network to try to force it into wifi mode but without any success. I don't think it's my router since my old 3GS is working fine. Anybody have any further thoughts? Thanks

There are some low-profile slots though 1 of them are occupied by the firewire card: 1 low-profile PCI, 2 low-profile PCI Express x16, 1 low-profile PCI Express x1
We actually purchased 13 of these computers for video editing, so I really hope it is possible to fix this without buying 13 low-profile graphics adapters. What gets to me is the fact that it does work when I disable the driver. (!) Shold therefore be doable to make a driver/update that works :-(
Any ideas? Or, in worst case, anyone know about a low-profile graphics card that works?

I downloaded the 4.2 upgrade for iphone thinking I would be able to print from my HP Officejet Pro 8500 Premier All-In-One A909n. I have upgraded the HP firmware. I have turned my printer on and off. I get an error message that says "No printer found." I am not able to contact HP due to my warranty being expired--even though I bought the extended warranty from the store. Please help. Thanks!

Air-Play functionality on IOS 8

Can you tell me, is it possible to revert from IOS 8.1.3 back to IOS 7 ?
With IOS 7 it was possible to stream a movie on the iphone and play it through the apple TV. Once playing, you could then come out of the browser and leave it playing while you used other apps.
The Air play functionality with IOS 8 is primitive in comparison ! Often, only the sound casts to the TV and if you do get the picture cast too, if you come out of the browser to read a text or such, it stops playing.
Please tell me there is a way to revert to IOS 7 ?
IOS 8 has ruined the Apple TV experience when used in conjunction with iphone!

Thanks for your reply. Having already done a little digging, it appears I am not alone.
With IOS 7, when you played a video in the browser there was a button in the bottom right window which gave you the option to play it on Apple TV. This button has now been removed and you must bring up the menu first. Select apple TV, then drop down the menu again. Seems like a step backwards having to perform a number of additional steps to perform the same function. Particularly when it appears to cause problems playing content.
I am blaming IOS 8 as there were never any problems with IOS 7. Now there are numerous issues with it.
