Air 3.9 will support OSX 10.9. How about Flash Builder?

Currently, only Java 1.6 is supported in FB 4.7.
Although most of the features work with Java 7, some, like the iOS packager, don't.
It would also be nice if several bugs were fixed too.
Are there any plans for updates to FB 4.7 in the near future (or ever)?

Update to Apache Flex 4.10 and AIR 3.8, they will work just fine with Java 7.

Yes Flash is no longer supported in the browser...   I am a Flash Developer and I think this is a good thing. I personally believe that Browsers in general on mobile devices will die a slow death.
Have you tried using them ... no matter what device you choose and how good the browser is, the experience is horrendous. Flash running in the browser on a smartphone is painful.
Browsers will be replaced by apps.
Let me give you an example.
I was upgrading the OS on my daughters iPod Touch Devices and noticed that their Safari Browser was in a folder called "Junk" along with the compassVoice MemosNews Stand, Stocks, etc.
I asked them "Why is your browser in a folder labeled Junk and how do you find anything online? "

Unlocked iPhones will not work on CDMA.
The device must be purchased via Sprint, Verizon, or directly from Apple for use on either Verizon or Sprints network. There may be other CDMA carriers at this time, I'm not 100% certain. The device cannot be taken from one CDMA network to another.

Verizion Support is Killing Me - How about U?

Have you noticed that Verizon offers no Email Support? Effectively, VZ is deliberately stopping you and I from lodging a dispute; be it a dispute about billing, service, or termination!
So if you have a Billing query you hafta just suck-it in and wait 20+ mins on the phone for a CSR. I've tried to hang on twice now and given up each time. And it ****** me off because, I'm wanting to get VZ to stop miss-charging me, and to bill me fairly. IAs a result, I can't simply pay a smaller amount of the invoice and email a dispute for not paying the full amount.
I guess this no-email-complaints approach helps VZ avoid lawsuits, as there is no written record of a dispute. Similarly, their no-email-feedback shows that they don't care about getting positive or negative customer feedback. The only company I know of which started this trend is Microsoft - in its early days - before it built a large corporate User base. After that, it started charging for Support services. And we all know what that did to MS' reputation.
I'd be interested to hear anyone else's take on this energy-sapping, time-wasting VZ phone-only Support service. Maybe I'm just too cynical, and have misread VZ's service culture completely ?????????????

You are right, VZW generally does not let their employees to communicate customer disputes via emails. Anything written may be construed as interpretation of company's policy and could be potentially used against the company. Unfortunately or fortunately the only way to litigate is to file a claim with AAA ( American Arbitration Association) VZW clearly set forth the procedure in their customer agreement. Many monetary disputes cannot be resolved on customer service level because lower tiers reps have very little authority to adjust your bill. VZW has very solid corporate logistics in place, so trying to appeal to logic and common sense in corporate environment doesn't work in many cases. Don't get mad. Do EXACTLY what VZW want you to do in case of dispute. File a notice of dispute as outlined in customer agreement. AAA is known not to be very pro-consumer however if your case has merit you have a very good chance to win plus if you retain a lawyer you will get reimbursed for all of your expenses. Big corps hate to loose arbitrations with their own customers for many different reasons. The other very good reason for them to settle with you before it even goes to arbitration, is that you will have to keep the terms of your settlement confidential. Technically they can get away with a lot of things and just settle in your favor( because you are happened to be that annoying customer) without anyone knowing about it. Since not that many people are willing to go all the way, its just dollars and sense approach for a company to figure out how to squeeze a customer without killing profit, which is an ultimate goal for any company.
On the good note, In my personal experience, shortly after filing a notice of dispute I received a phone call from VZW rep offering help to resolve the issue. To my biggest surprise my 2 months long dispute has been resolved by few clicks of a button on the other side of the wire. Good Luck

Maybe you could help me out here as I’ve search the web and Adobe forum but could not find any answer.
I just installed Flash Builder 4.6 (after uninstalling 4.5.1), now when I run my app, the adl.exe crashes (error details below). I thought because I have an app that was created with 4.5, but then I created a new app with this version and it still crash. I have Windows 7 64-bit PC.

How to update the AIR included in Flash Builder SDK?

So, the Flash Builder SDK comes with a version of AIR, which it uses when you package a mobile app for iOS (Android mobile apps are run with the AIR that's downloaded from the Marketplace)... On my Windows machine, this "built-in" copy of AIR is located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4.6\sdks\4.6.0\runtimes\" unless I'm mistaken.
I'm pretty sure that it does not automatically update itself -- and I'm equally certain that it's a pretty old version of AIR, because it's the one that was included with the 4.6 SDK which was released 8 months ago...
So how do I update this version of AIR that's built into the Flash Builder SDK?

Oops -- never mind... Didn't realize there was a separate AIR SDK that you could download -- I thought it was integrated into the Flex SDK, and since there hasn't been a new Flex SDK since 4.6, I thought I had to somehow grab pieces and parts of AIR to update this manually...
But grabbing the AIR SDK from http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.html did the trick... Just unzipped that into the sdks\4.6.0 folder and was done... Sweet...

When Flash Builder 4.6 for PHP is released will it support AIR 3.2 ???

We've all been waiting a long time since last November's Private Beta of Flash Builder 4.6 which was released shortly thereafter, for the Flash Builder 4.6 for PHP version.
However, Flash Builder 4.6 for PHP (The one with Zend Studio included in it) is scheduled for 2012 - Q1 release, meaning?
I guess, at the latest March 31st.
This is significant, because AIR 3.2 is Great, but it will Live or Die based on what happens, I believe, in the next year, the new demo with the 2 geniuses at Adobe, Lee Brimelow and Thibault Imbert, which essentially ARE the driving intellectual force behind AIR, make me feel more comfortable than the management at Adobe,

There's another thing, there are a ton of job offerings for iOS 5 or Android Java, but no AIR (very few and the damage control fromthe eff'ed up press release is still meandering).
Adobe needs to compliment its consumer base and developer base, with a Developer Network for Corporate integration so there are contracts out there for us who live between our dream ideas and meals, by doing contracting work, and it'd be nice to do it in Flash Builder 4.6 instead of taking on an iOS 5 or Android Java or PhoneGap project. I worked it out in the end - I had to uninstall FB4.5 and reboot. Why couldn't the installation say so instead of just crashing? The Mid-2007 model didn't come out until June 2007, so you must have bought an earlier model. It won't run Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8.x), but it might run Lion (10.7.x) if you can get hold of a copy, depending on which earlier model it is.
Lion requires at least a Intel Core 2 Duo processor. The first MacBook Pros came out in January 2006, but they had "Core Duo" processors (no "2"). The Core 2 Duo MacBook Pros came out in October 2006. You could have bought either in March 2007.
