Air extension in CS6 on Windows 8 can't find java runtime
I loaded the air extension to Dreamweaver CS6 running on Windows 8. The AIR commands show up in menus but when I try to use them I get a message to load java runtime environment 1.5.0 or later. Java 1.7.25 is installed on my machine. Any ideas?
Found an answer. A friend who has Java experience updated the PATH on my machine and now it runs just fine. The details of how to do it are beyond my comprehension.

Somebody has some suggestion ???There is a file in ORACLE_HOME /oracle.swd.jre /bin/native-threads/ java
the program is looking for ORACLE_HOME /oracle.swd.jre /bin/native-threads/ jre
I have not figured out the solution but I hope this information helps for some senior oracle users out there. -
I need MS office for Chinese online banking. The Apple website says the Air can use the latest MS Office if it has a 32bit processor, but the tech specs dont say which Airs have a 32bit processor. Where can I find out?

Thanks, but the website says I need a 32 bit processor so presumably a 64 bit processor is no good? Or can a 64 bit automatically do everything a 32 bit one can do?
Where is the link that says you need a 32 bit processor? On my MBA, in the past I've ran both Office for Mac and Windows 7 (MS Office) via Parallels (Bootcamp does the same thing). I chose installing Windows 7 in the 32 bit mode ONLY because I have a couple of other legacy Windows programs that only run in 32 bit mode. -
Windows Vista can't find the Firefox.exe program on my machine but it is right there in program files. Windows won't run it. After clicking on the short cut icon and after a delay I get an error message saying that windows can't find it. What can I do to fix this problem?
Hey merodi,
I dont fully understand your problem here,
1. Did your computer shut down or 'die' or did you save and then you cant find it?
2. Have you tried looking in spotlight (little magnifying glass up the corner)
3. Have you tried opening the program again? In word and pages, if the program exited forcefully, opening it again will restore the document. -
I need to go back to Firefox 3.5-3.6 because 90% of my extension do not work. Where can I find the download to Firefox 3.5-3.6? Thank you for the link.

Hello everyone, I just installed Windows 7 - 64 bit. Supposedly the driver for the HP Officejet 5510 will install automatically in Windows 7 when connected via a USB, which is not happening.
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01796879&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&os=4063&product=311...
I am getting the message that Windows 7 can't find the driver. I don´t understand why?
My Windows Update is set to automatic.
I see the device under printers. But when I click on it it says driver missing.
Is there any solution? Possibility to get the driver some other way? Unfortunately HP doesn't provide a download on their website.
Can anyone help me, pleease?
HonzaI have the same problem. I spent all this money to get more features, not less so Windows 7 should run all of my XP stuff. Now I see that my HP Officejet 5510 all-in-one won't scan and I can't save in pdf format. C'mon HP....give us a driver! If I wind up having to buy another printer, I swear it won't be an HP if I get abandoned on this one. And I'll also switch vendors for all of the printers I'm responsible for replacing at work too.

My hard drive crashed on my desktop. I need to reload my CS6 software. Where can I find a download link? I use to be able to download it at work . . . I work at FedEx Office.
Thanks,
AudreyYou can download the trial from the Adobe site https://www.adobe.com/products/cs6.html and activate it with your serial number.
Alternatively you can download it directly (without any download manager) from http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html - make sure you follow the Very Important Instructions before proceeding to the download. -

Thanks,I really don't quite follow what your problem is But:
Are you sure it's { the script } is not looking for JAVA_HOME environmental Variable?
You could try: Control Panel - System - Advanced - Environment Variables
and see if it has an Entry for "JAVA_HOME"
if it does ensure it is pointing to the correct directory:
ie the one that has the directories bin, jre, lib
in it. for me that is C:\Java\jdk1.5
for you it's probaly C:\Java1-5-05 or whatever
If it doesn't add a new entry for it.
in my case:
JAVA_HOME C:\Java\jdk1.5
Normally I just double click on those .exe's and they install fine......... -

I can't find it on my imac. I searched for it in the finder.
It should be in /System/Library/Frameworks/

/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/
and

How can i find java preferences on MAC 10.8.2
I recently upgraded to the new Mountain Lion OS X 10.8.2 but I can't find Java preferences anymore. I need to go onto an online banking page but it needs me to adjust some settings through Java Preferences, kindly please inform where can I get to the Java Preferences page?
The last Java update disabled Java plug-in and removed Java Preferences.app from your Utilities folder.
You can re-enable Java by follwing this support article
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5559
Or, you can update to Oracle's Java 7 here

Where can I find Java 1.5 ?
The tools are launched over the network via the WebStart application that is part of the Java 1.5 installation. You have to download Java 1.5 (JRE 5.0 or J2SEE 5.0)from the Sun Developer Network (WebStart is included).
> Thanks a lot. But I can not find Java 1.5
Ah. Sun's marketing gremlins strike again. Java 1.5 and Java SE 5 are the same product.
