AIR installer download fails with MacOS

Hi
I have put my AIR-installer to my web-server (http://www.prepress.fi/eDocManager_e/update/eDocManager.air)
It doesn´t work if I just click the link in web-browser. I have to compress installer to ZIP-package, user has to decompress it then. I would like to make it work directly... it should be possible, I have used links to AIR-installer elsewhere.... what I´m doing wrong?
I have also problems with auto-update... but i have Flex SDK 3.5 in use and I heard there´s some bug that has something to do with update process... I tried to download SDK 3.5a but site was down few minutes age... I´ll re-try later...

Have you set the mime type for AIR on your web server?

Hi All, anyone with this problem with Acrobat Pro XI, IM USING MAC, also Yosemite if that helps.
Also Adobe CC, BASICALLY IT just quit and i had to uninstall, re install, and I get this

Same problem. Creative Cloud subscriber running Mac 10.10.2 on iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014). All apps work fine EXCEPT for Adobe Acrobat XI. I have tried 100 times and 100 solutions. NOTHING works.

Abobe CCP installer packages failing with DW040 errors

At my company, we are running into problems with some Creative Cloud installer packages for Mac created with CCP, some of the time.
When installing the package locally from the desktop, the Installer.app fails with this message:
'Install Failed' UI displayed message:'The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.'
An example of the Adobe Setup Error.log is attached. It includes:
ERROR: DW040: The product "{C3409B0A-ACE8-11E2-9ED3-A79B9175A9A8}" is not installed. Cannot proceed with the uninstall
Please search the above error/warning string(s) to find when the error occurred.
These errors resulted in installer Exit Code mentioned below.
Exit Code: 33 - The product is not installed, cannot uninstall.
Please see specific errors and warnings for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DW040 ...
Similar messages with other product IDs occur appear in the log.
The package that I’m having this issue with was built with the following components:
Bridge CC
InCopy CC
InDesign CC
Illustrator CC
Photoshop CC
Is anyone familiar with this error and is there a way to resolve?

I am getting below ERROR while downloading the SCCM 2012 R2 prerequisite files. I have tried running the setupdl.exe command several times, everytime it proceeds with downloading 1 file and then fails with the same error.

ERROR: WinHttpReceiveResponse failed 80072ee2
ERROR: Download() failed with 0x80072EE2
Have already checked the proxy but this is still the same.

0x80072EE2 = "The operation timed out"
There is no way to know why from the downloading side why it timed out. "Something" between the "downloader" and the Microsoft source is getting in the way of the communication and preventing the response from reaching the downloader.
If you have a proxy, that is a likely culprit, but it could certainly be other things. You'll need to do some investigation and discovery -- you may even have to communicate with the network folks or folks responsible for the proxy.

Adobe AIR Installer - Hybrid - fails to launch on MAC

We have an AIR application to be delivered as a hybrid DVD
The AIR is deployed as a bundled runtime installer.
The issue is after burning the DVD as a hybrid, the Adobe AIR Installer does not launch.
We are using toast to burn the hybrid DVD
Has anybody encountered a aimilar issue

I've tried using the Leopard Disk Utility to burn a CD-R from a .dmg and a .cdr (using various options like compressed, read only ,etc.) based on the same directory that the USB installers are copied from (USB installers of AIR app + Sidecar works on Windows/Mac and Linux after installing AIR separately). I can't get those disks read on a Vista or an XP (SP 3) machine. Nothing comes up in the CD/DVD drive. If I use wodim in Ubuntu Linux (installed on a partition on a G4 Powerbook, old, I know) the installer CD works on Mac but it's not readable on WinXp or Vista.
I've also tried to copy the .cdr created on a Mac and rename it to .iso, moved it over to a Windows machine and tried burning it with 2 different software (will try Nero next) and it fails to write from the mac-originated .iso. Windows always seems to butcher the Mac-based installer .app files because it thinks they are folders so I have been unable to create a Data CD directly from the file structure on Windows.
I'd love a bullet-proof way to burn a CD that would work on Windows and Mac (and Linux would be a plus).

TS1424 Song download fails with "stopped error # 100000 "

Error occurred when download a Wierd Al song. It continues to download, over 30 times. And I have gone to the Available downloads area, and it still fails. with error message "stopped error #10000. I have been charged for the song. but can't play it. HELP

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one.
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not downloading properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

Flash CS6 AIR error: CreateWinProcess failed with error 2. The system cannot find the file specified

I created an AIR application in Adobe Flash CS6, but when I test, debug or publish it, an error always occured.
CreateWinProcess failed with error 2. The system cannot find the file specified.
When I clicked OK, Flash suddenly stops responding, so I need to end the process using Task Manager.
I created a blank FLA document and tested and published it, everything's fine there. It was exported properly. But when I do it with the AIR app, Flash can't even start exporting the SWF of the AIP app, and instead gave me the error.
I speculate that there is something wrong with the Java command line stuff Flash is doing behind the curtain. I tried using ADL myself and get the AIR app working fine.
I also found out that Flash has its own JRE installed, so I don't have to bother the JRE used by my computer.
Is there any way to fix this? Thanks in advance. Have a nice day!

It happens when trying to test, debug, or publish air applications (AIR 2.5 – AIR 3.4 , desktop, android, iOS)

Used macbook air, trouble downloading iphoto with my apple id

I bought a used macbook air and want to download iphoto, but it was downloaded previously with a different apple id by the previous owner. It says I must purchase again with my id but I can't find the purchase option anywhere in the app store. It only says "accept" where it would normally say the price.

Since you bought this second hand, you will now have to contact iTS to sort out the problem. Only they can unadopt the ownership.

Downloads failing with the latest update

I cannot access my scripts with the new update. It locks up both the desktop application or the browser and I get the download fail warning.

I use Mac, Snow Leopard latest update, Safari.
Yes I am able to sign in on both the browser and the desktop app. I can access the project panel.
The problem is when I try to open a script. It start normally and then the apps locks up and I have to force quit it. It does the same thing with the browser except it unlocks itself with the message from Adobe Story that the download has failed.

Export Air file is failing with no results or messages

Hello all,
I don't know if I am just being stupid, as what I am doing should be simple, but maybe I am. I am using the Burrito Preview, and I have an air app that I am trying to do a release export build to produce an AIR file from. However, when I do the release export build wizard, I get no output. I follow all of the steps of the output, and if I navigate to the folder I can watch the swf and air get created, along with a .tmp file. However, when the export completes, Flash Builder deletes these files AND the folder that they were supposed to be exported to. Thank goodness I was just trying to output to the standard bin-release not somewhere else. Has anyone else seen this problem? I looked through the log file and it doesn't seem to be appending anything to the file after I attempt a release. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The problem seems to be the verbosity level of the compiler and incorrect Application Descriptor file content (which Burrito generates)
I started compiling the app using the command line (amxmlc and adt) and got various error messages.
These errors where not reported during a regular build/test inside Burrito and are introdcued with Buritto/SDK 4.5.
These where some of the issues with my project:
1) c:\PATH\TO\PROJECT\App.xml: error 303: Icon icons/appIcon_32.png is missing from package (manual addition to the App Descriptor file)
2) c:\PATH\TO\PROJECT\App.xml(11): error 105: application.initialWindow.content contains an invalid value (generated on project creation in Burrito)
3) c:\PATH\TO\PROJECT\App.xml(29): error 103: application.autoOrients is an unexpected element/attribute
4) c:\PATH\TO\PROJECT\App.xml(30): error 103: application.fullScreen is an unexpected element/attribute
5) c:\PATH\TO\PROJECT\App.xml(31): error 103: application.visible is an unexpected element/attribute
6) undefined property: var appXML:XML = NativeApplication.nativeApplication.applicationDescriptor;
Error 2: Change the line: <content>[This value will be overwritten by Flash Builder in the output app.xml]</content>
With: <content>YourApp.swf</content>
Error 6:
Apparently NativeApplication.nativeApplication.applicationDescriptor is not available in Hero ?
Commenting out the offending lines solved the problems, the command line build succeeded and starting the build from Burrito worked also flawlessly

AIR App Update fails with ApplicationUpdater (IOErrorEvent 2032)

I hope somebody can help me with this issue as I'm completely clueless of what could be the problem...
I've integrated the AIR ApplicationUpdater into my app and doing update tests but they fail if I download the update for my app and then press "Install" so that the app exits and tries to install the update. there I get the following message:
Sorry, an error has occured.
The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author.
If I postpone the update install until the app is restarted, all works fine. This happens on Windows 7 as well as on Mac OSX. And I tried it too with uninstalling both AIR and my app and re-install it all freshly but this didn't help.
Here's part of the install log I'm getting:

So I downloaded the installer with the link you provide below.
Not happening.
That installer loads into my downloads folder, I open it, click on the installer, enter my admin password, click “yes”_ it opens and the installation bar pops up_ and then it just stops!
When I come out the window a prompt pops up and tells me the installations failed.
This is driving me crazy!
Any more ideas?

ConfigMgr 2012 Agent Installation permanently failed with Error 1603

We have some clients, where the agent must be reinstalled. But it fails permanently with Error 1603. I have tried the following steps allready:
Delete the CCMSETUP and CCM Folder and start from scratch
Repair WMI by deleting root\ccm
Recreated the WMI Repository
Register all *.dll and *.mof in WBEM
Cleaned up with the ccmclean Tool
We use SCCM 2012 SP1 CU3
The error happens on Vista and Windows 7
From the logs, it looks that something went wrong with the ccmexec service, but I'm not sure. In the Eventlogs are some entries from the Search Service that the Service unexpectly stopped. But not much more.

CCMClean.exe is not supported for ConfigMgr 2012, but I guess that you know that :)
Have you tried 'ccmsetup.exe /uninstall', wait for it to complete and then install again?
