Air play gives audio from itunes (sometimes) but not browser

Apple TV used to work fine from all devices on all apps/browsers. Now I get video but not audio from my Firefox browser via Air Play & if the settings are just right then I can get audio from iTunes ONLY. HELP!

UPDATE:
Well, the nice folks at AJA were kind enough to send another card out.
It just arrived today. I swapped it out with the older card, and then - - - - - the problems still persist.
The computer revved up into turbo mode, and there are still a few glitchy things happening with some basic functions in OSX. (I even did a re-install before putting the new card in).
Checked / updated the firmware / etc.
Starting to think this is a MAC issue, but dont' know how to proceed.
Thanks so much for the help already, but I'd sure love to see this problem resolved once and for all somehow...
Ideas?

Apple TV buffers air play movie rented from iTunes and downloaded on iPad.

When I download rented movie from iTunes to iPad and then air play to Apple TV the AppleTV buffers for 30-45 min as if it is trying to re-download the rented move. It use to start instantly with a complete status bar.

Was an internet connection available?
I'm not sure I would ever play a rented movie by mirroring from an iPad as mirroring is lossy and reduces quality.
It may actually not work via mirroring.

How to delete items from itunes library but not from computer

I was wondering if there is a way to remove items from my itunes library but still keep them on my computer in case I want to put them back in the library later. For instance, I bought the first season of Desperate Housewives, which takes up about 4.5 GB, and since I have the 30 GB ipod and lots of personally ripped DVDs, I'm running out of room. But it seems a waste to trash the files, since I paid for the show. I know I should back up the files to an external source anyway, and I've done that with my purchased music, but I don't have a DVD burner, and I'm not sure how many CDs it would take to back up the show. And I don't want to manually update the ipod because I think it's much easier to just plug it in and let it do its thing. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Go to that File(s) and right-Click to Remove; then it will ask you if you want to send it to the Recyle bin or Keep Files on your computer; Say Keep Files on your computer and should be fine.

Yes, I had read about converting too..but...isn't it true that then you have TWO files of the same song...consequently twice as much space is taken up for the same song (one in the AAC format and one in the mp3 format)? It just seems to me that this adds unneccessary time (to make the conversion) and wasted space (2 files now instead of one). I guess to each their own, but it sure seems preferable to me to purchase right off the bat an mp3 file which does not need any conversion. And, isn't it also true that in the default Apple format, maybe it isn't "protected" per se...but I was certain I read that you could only use the file on 5 computers for personal use only...there certainly aren't any restrictions like that on mp3. I was only asking because I have accumulated funds in my itunes account and since I have many apps, I was just wondering if someone could convince me why I would want to purchase music from iTunes. ITunes is playing the audio on my movies but not the video.

I have the latest version of iTunes along with Windows 8 and for some reason iTunes will not play the video part of my movies, just the audio. The screen appears as black when I try.

Which encoding is used on that site?
*Firefox > Web Developer > Character Encoding
*View > Character Encoding
For me the windows-1252 encoding is selected.

I see/play TV Shows in iTunes view but not on iPhone

When I connect my iPhone4S to my MBAir and view the iPhone's files (via iTunes) I see that there are 37 "TV Shows" listed. I can even click the play button and they play (in iTunes, on my computer). My iPhone shows (at the bottom of the iTunes window) that it thinks it has a lot of "Video" (over 3.5 gb) stored on it. However, when I fire up the "Video" app on the phone itself there are NO videos.
Sync doesn't help since these videos are not on my MBAir -- they are only (now) on the iPhone.
Am I using the wrong app to view them? How can I get to them on my iPhone, to watch them there?

At the AT&T store. Tried using iCloud but only 120 songs were transferred and when I access my iTunes account now it only shows 120 and not the 450 anymore that I purchased on my old phone. Tried to sync again from the phone to iTunes and it still not working.

All the music from iTunes Store aren't protected. You can search the web for a site that sells protected music.

The tracks labeled "karaoke" in the iTunes Store are only instrumental backing tracks; they are not actual karaoke tracks. They do not have lyrics, and cannot be burned to the usual CD+G format that a karaoke machine will accept.
