Air play is not working on my iPad like it did before

When I try to mirror with the new apple tv 3 with my Ipad2 it sometimes comes up and then freezes and noticed its shutting off air play most of the time but when it doesnt it freeze on my screen with the box where u turn the mirror on then turns off????

Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first.

After installing of Maverick the connection with Apple tv is not possible. All other devices, i-phone 5 and i-pad, are working.

I have never liked using Network Manager with Oracle. If you use traditional ifup, you can use SCPM and have different profiles. The first 2 things I do during an install of Suse Linux that will have Oracle 10g is disable Network Manager and disable IPv6. Go to /etc/hosts and remove all entries that have the IPv6 addresses. The 10g OC4J applications from database and application servers have problems with IPv6 addressing. Make note of your current DNS addresses and your route before reconfiguring to ifup. Use route -n to get the router address if you do not already know it. It is the gateway with values. It is also a good idea to configure your wired ethernet device to start on boot up, then you can ping your hostname whether or not your cable becomes disconnected, i.e. still access dbconsole with the router down.

First, be sure that the contacts on the devices are in the "icloud" section and not the "On my iPhone" (or iPad) section of the contact listings/groups.
Missing contacts:
Here's a test to perform - using a computer's browser, log into icloud.com and go to the Contacts page. If most of them are gone, then they are gone.
If they show up, then the problem is that your device is not connecting to the Contacts database on icloud.
On the device, go to Settings>icloud. Be sure icloud is on and using the right ID. If not, scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Delete Account - this just disconnects the device from that account, no data is lost. Then log back in using the correct ID. ALSO - be sure the Contacts are turned on (on the same screen).
Note: Contacts are not part of an iCloud backup, since they are part of contacts database on iCloud's servers. So performing a restore will not help.
Contacts are gone from icloud.com.
Then they have been deleted. There are many reasons for this. One possibility is that someone else is using the same iCloud account (family member, etc.) and they deleted contacts, thinking they did want them on THEIR device. How to get them back? Unfortunately, an iCloud backup does not include any of the sync databases, like contacts, notes, calendars, reminders, etc. because the data is already stored in these databases. Your only hope for restoring the data is if you had that data on a computer (like a mac's Contacts, Calendars, etc.) and that data was backed up using whatever backup software you typically use (e.g. Time Machine on a mac). Just restore the data files back to the computer. Other than that, I'm afraid the data is gone.

Farm Heroes will not work on my iPad since I update the game.I could play just fine before I updated it on May 1st. I was up to level 120. I have tried everything,restarting iPad, uninstalling and reinstalling Farm Heroes,uninstalling all other games, and even did a reset on my iPad. The game will not stay on. I can sign in to Facebook but if I click Play it will shut off before or right after my first move.And always starts on level 1.I wish I could undo the uplate.....

MSO - Auto play do not work

I have a problem with an old app (single-edition) that I need to update.
The Auto-Play is not working for two MSO I have. I saw few days ago that this was a bug with DPS and iOS 8, but I just read that now it's fixed:

The problem is, I had 3 articles that did not work before this bug was fixed. I did update my articles and now, only one is okay. II have the same problem with the other two articles.
What I got is an auto-play slideshow with two object states.

Hi, Nathan. I'm new to this post, but am having a similar issue. I do have Adobe Content Viewer v32.3, so it doesn't sound like that is the problem. I have a 5-state autoplay MSO that works perfectly in the desktop viewer, but won't play on the iPad. It originally existed in a v32 folio, but I created a v26 version just to test it; however, that doesn't work, either. I thought it was possible that it's too large (it was entirely vector made up of a lot of people icons that eventually fill the entire "page"), so I tried creating it using low-res JPGs. Still won't work. The odd thing is, there is another autoplay MSO in a separate article in the v32 folio that works without a hitch.

FaceTime not working on supervised iPads

Hello,
I have set up some iPad Airs for work using the Apple Configurator (ver 1.4.3). In the profile that I created, under 'Restrictions' I enabled both 'Allow Use of Camera' and 'Allow FaceTime,' however the FaceTime app is not working on the iPads. I get an error that says 'Account Restriction This iPad is restricted from creating FaceTime accounts.'
What gives? Can anyone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?

It sounds like you are having a problem with the WiFi link(s). For each iPad, unplug the WiFi router for a few seconds. Then reset the iPad's network. Go to Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings. You will need to reconnect the iPad to WiFi. (If both iPads use the same WiFi router, you only need to unplug it once.)

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Are you using the Sky Go app to try and watch it ? If so are you logged in with your Sky account ?
If you are using the app then you could try closing the app completely and see if it works when you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Sky Go 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Sky Go app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
