Air print IOS 8 for sure

It's most certainly an IOS 8 problem. My son has an ipad mini. For some reason we can't update that to IOS 8. That's going to be another phone call to Apple. Any way, I could print from his iPad, But not mine which is running IOS 8. I can also print from my iMac. So frustrating!

For some reason it seems that the iOS 8 is causing problems for the iPad's when it comes to air printing. It will search for printers but it does not seem to find any printers.

Actually that solution will work on any Wondows computer, not just laptops as long as you have a wireless network.

Im on my schools wifi and I can usually print through wifi using my laptop. Can i do the same through iPad? Im not sure if its an air printer or not but everything is through wifi.

I would recommend downloading the HP ePrint Home & Biz app from the Apple App Store. You should be able to print to your printer from inside the app. As of right now, there is no update for your printer to allow AirPrint directly from your Apple mobile devices.

I had the same problem. In the end I downloaded it manually. Here's the steps assuming you are on a Mac and have an iPad Air (Wifi). If not you can find other restore links here.
In the terminal (it kept failing to download in Safari):
curl http://appldnld.apple.com/iOS7.1/031-4521.20140310.D2Ydl/iPad4,1_7.1_11D167_Rest ore.ipsw >>~/Desktop/iPad4,1_7.1_11D167_Restore.ipsw
Once the file has downloaded, move it to ~/Library/iTunes/iPad Software Updates/
Quit and relaunch iTunes.
Should now work for you.

Try this process on your Mac. These files will be regenerated by Mac OS X with default settings.
1. Quit the Mac App Store
2. Trash the following folders and files; (~ is your Home folder)

SetTimout doesn't work properly in AIR 2.7 for IOS

I notice the setTimout() method does not work properly in AIR 2.7 for IOS.
Closure function isn't execute with the proper delay...

How to get Flash to use AIR 2.7 for iOS?

How do I force Flash Pro to use AIR 2.7 for an iOS-project?
When choosing Publish settings you can only choose AIR for iOS without any version numbers. But when you choose only AIR there is a version number. According to an informative video http://tv.adobe.com/watch/flash-platform-in-action/adobe-air-27-faster-app-performance-on- ios/ it seems like 2.7 could be the solution to my problems. Obviously the 2.7 version is for iOS too and not for "AIR only".
I have installed 2.7 but in the xml-file that follows with the ipa-file that has been created it says AIR 2.6. But when I try to download 2.7 (again) I get the information that I already have AIR installed... I guess "he/she" means 2.7 because I can see it in a dll-file (according to instructions on a web page on www.adobe.com (can't find it right now)).
So why am I not getting the ipa-file created with AIR 2.7? What can I do to make it happen?

My interpretation of this document is that the version of AIR used comes from what version of Flash Pro you are using. Correct? And you are not supposed to upgrade AIR without upgrading Flash Pro according to Adobe?

HP Envy- does it require internet connection for the air print feature to work?

I am considering purchasing an HP Envy printer, but I live in an area with limited internet service (very slow dial-up). Does the Envy require an internet connection to work? I have a Macbook Air, and am assuming that I can just use my wireless router without connecting it to the internet. Has anyone out there used the air print in this situation?

Looking for an AIR Native Extension for iOS that will allow / disable access to certain apps

Flash Pro CS6にて「AIR 3.4 for iOS」で.ランタイム共有ライブラリの警告が出てしまう.

「Flash CS6」を、Windows 7(32bit)で利用しています。
現在、iOS用のAIRアプリを作成を試みておりますが、パブリッシュの際に下記の警告が出力ウィンドウに表示されます。
警告 : ランタイム共有ライブラリ (RSL) としてリンクされているライブラリがありません。原因となるパブリッシュ設定 : AIR 3.4 for iOS
設定は「AIR for iOS（3.4）」で、3.2としても同様の警告が現れます。
ipaファイルは正常？に作成されますので、それを登録済みのiPhoneやiPadにインストールし、起動することができます。
しかし、プログラムに記述したNativeExtension（NetworkInfoなど）の機能が動きません。。。
CS6上の「制御」→「ムービープレビュー」→「AIR Debug Launcher(モバイル)を使用」で動かすと、上記のNativeExtensionの機能が動いています。
上記のライブラリがリンクされていないことが原因かと思いますが、Flash CS6上でどのような設定を行えば、警告が出なくなるのでしょうか？
一応、実機でのインストールや起動も出来ますので、プロビジョニングファイルやp12ファイルは正しく設定できていると思いますが。
開発環境は以下の通りです。
・Flash Professional CS6
・Windows 7(32bit)
・AIR SDK：3.4 for iOS
ネット上を探してみましたが、手がかりがなく、困っております。
どなたかご存知の方がいらっしゃいましたら、よろしくお願いします。

I think you are hitting the GPU fullscreen bug in AIR 2.7(http://forums.adobe.com/message/3747867). It suspect it is not related to the scale mode that you are setting. To confirm, you could set the renderMode to cpu in your application xml. You should not be able to reproduce the bug.

Fuji Xerox is connect with Ethernet cable.
So, if i buy Apple Airport Express, can i print message on Apple Mail app and document on Apple Pages app ?
Note: I download FX Print Utilitie from App Store, This app can print only PDF, Webpage, picture. It's can't print message from Apple Mail app (attachment also), can't print document from Apple Pages app.

To print directly from an iOS device, the printer must support AirPrint. Just connecting a printer to an AirPort Express base station (either by USB or Ethernet) will not, in itself, make the printer AirPrint ready.
