Air printer delegates problem in Offline Mode
Hello All,
I am sending a print job to Air printer but when printer is offline then still delegates says print job had done sucessfully. And after 10 sec it shows a Alert that printer is in offline mode.
My question is how to determine the Air printer is ON/OFF before sending any print Job to printer?
Print JOb delegates not returning any error or msg for it.

This times got pictures of what i did exactly ! Sorry it's in French ;) Step 1 : After a reboot, i open Spotify and obtain this, I had never seen this before last week ! Usual it connects me at phone's start.. (Android widget of Spotify didn't work too after reboot, i need to open the application directly) Step 2 : i click on "Connection" and he asks me for the desactivation of the Offline Mode => this message appears twice. I need to quit Spotify and restart it to connect successfully. Step 3 : when i look in my "Playlists", the "Dub.Inc" one is not synced whereas before the reboot it was ! And proof in step 4.. Step 4 : when i look in "Parameters" of applications, i see this.. So i do not understand lol :p My playlist is here, in Exceptionnal quality. So as this bug was crazy, i tested on my ipod touch 4 with another version of Spotify. I synced it at the same moment as the Android. You see that after the reboot, playlist is always here ! It's not my account but other thing.. I've got a 64 GO memory card µSD maybe due to that ?! Card is here since one year and no problem detected on it. If someone can help, you'll welcome :)

Device limit problem in offline mode
Hello all :) I've got a problem with Offline Mode since few weeks. I saw that when the phone is rebooted with Offline mode activated, spotify had disconnected the session.
So OK click on "Connection" and he asks for turn off the Offline mode. So OK again, but after no music could be read ! Files are always here cause of XXX GO used but no read possible..
After three tries of reboot and synchronisation of one playlist, it says "you have reached the limit of 3 devices". Into my account i saw 3 times "Android phone" at the same date ! I'm not enough rich to have 3 Android phones :p This bug is happened when i have tried to Sync a third device (other computer). I have deleted all devices into account but it still annoying me. I have deleted files on Android in Application parameters, reboot, try to create an username instead of facebook connection.. I deleted Spotify application on my Android Phone but always nothing changed. I know Application Developpment is not so easy, but if I paid Spotify it's for have no pub and for Offline mode.. So please, I need your help :) No music is not possible, i've began to sing in my shower because there too much silence.. Having problems with air printer to i pad, problem seems to lie with talktalk router, hp solutions managed to get i mac to air printer working but not i pad, adivsed to buy another router as talktalk is not compatiable with bonjour. Went to PC world apple department advised to by airport express. tried setting it up using but will not finalise. i was led to believe this would replace the talktalk router? i feel i have been sold the wrong thing. Any suggestions
This happened to me when I was setting up the wireless router for a friend. The issue is with the Westall modem. You need to go in and setup the "bridge" option on the westell modem. The link below gives directions or you can call bellsouth dsl support (this is how I learned about it).

Solution:
Method 1 - Hard Reset
Restore the modem to default settings by pressing the Reset button on the back of the modem and holding it for 3 seconds. (Bridged mode is the default setting for the Westell).
After the modem regains sync, it is in Bridged mode. Do not attempt to surf into the modem as surfing into the modem will enable the Easy Login page and convert the modem from bridged mode to a PPP mode.
Method 2 – Bridged Mode
Access the Westell interface using http://192.168.1.254 or http://launchmodem.
Click on the Broadband DSL Line button.
Click on the Protocols button
Select the radio button to the left of Option 2 (Bridge)
Click the save button. Once the modem has restarted it is in bridge mode.

Offline mode problem nokia N73
Hello, I have a problem with my Nokia N73, after having passed in Offline mode, it is impossible to change it. I carried out a hard reset by *#7370#, the phone posts general mode, but when i wants to connect to the network it posts phone in Offilne mode. I have try an firmware update using PC suite, but thephone must be in general mode before this operation can be carried out. what can i proceed. right now it is impossible to use my phone.

Yes, I am probably mad still giving this phone a go, but I Like the phone, so I keep giving it another go! (plus the fact that I cant find any other phone on the market right now that I really like)
My network operator has been great, and has always replaced it for me every time I have had problems, but I must say it is now getting a bit too much.
The last one I had, I got 2 weeks ago, and was a brand new one with the latest s/w update.
First time I put it into OFFLINE mode, it refused to change back to normal. (this was a new problem I did not have with the first 5 handsets so I have a feeling its a problem with the latest s/w)
a week ago I had it replaced once again with a brand new one.
Went away, and put it into OFFLINE mode again while on the plane, and guess what? it refused to change again.
Nothing helps; I have tried taking the battery out, taking the sim card in and out, nothing!!!!
Now they want to give me an N93, but it seems way to large to me, plus it probably has the same problem, using the same operation system.

when i put firefox in offline mode, and then click on pages saved in history , it can't load any pages or any images. i put cach size to 250mb but the problem is the same, it saves history for two months, but can't load pages.

In general, you are correct - but also your server does need to be properly configured (and those errors above lead me to think it may not be) to serve the file types that your uploading - but it could be something else entirely. Can you zip up your composition folder, upload it to your Creative Cloud files, set it to share, and then post a link here so I can download it? If you'd rather not share it publicly, can you PM me with a link to your composition files?

Cannot suddenly air print, but has not been a problem previously
Have not had a problem air printing, but suddenly not able to. Have checked printer settings and works fine from iPhone and laptop but will not work from ipad. Any one any clues please.

deggie gave you that link so you'd know that airprint is a reduced-options print system, designed for mobile devices (not Macs), and you need to use the specific airprint driver on the Mac when adding the printer if you want Airprint, no-options printing. Otherwise, select the "non-airprint" driver when you add the printer.
It may be helpful to Reset the Printing System to get OS X to find the right driver.

T 420s cooling air coming out is very hot, finger print reader problem
I am living in ruwais, abudhabi.i bought T 420s in last June from LENOVO authorized distributor. Model number is 4174-KK4 and the sr no ***.
Sometime the cooling air coming out is very hot, unable to keep the laptop on the lap.
The cooling fan also replaced still the temperature is high.
After replacing the fan I noticed that I noticed one of the screws was not fixed, I asked them to fix it, then they fixed it.
I traveled back to my home 240 KM from the authorized distributor service center. when I started the laptop, the fingerprint reader was not working . Then I traveled back 240 KM to the authorized distributor service center to fix the issue. They fixed the fingerprint reader problem.
Then now the SD card reader is not working. I was asked to bring the laptop to the authorized distributor service centre.
Can any one experience the same type of problems with T 420s the cooling air coming out is very hot, finger print reader problem, card reader not working?
The authorized distributor says for the service they can only cover 50 KM form the authorized distributor service center to the customer point, what is the conditions for the On site warranty ?. I am living 240 KM away from the authorized distributor service center from whom I bought the laptop.
Moderator comment: Serial number(s) removed to protect member from mischief.Well clearly after the first incident. You need to check and us it verifying everything is working before leaving the service center or town its in. Go to a coffee shop and spend time using it and test each option is working.
When the notebook its opened the finger print reader, card reader etc may not be connect properly or connectors not snap fully and disconnect. Mouse ultranav I have heard may also. But clearly you assume too much and you need to spend the time testing its working before leaving.
These service center are only paid a fixed amount so they won't spend anymore time then they have to and address one problem you brought it in for.
As for heat out put and over heating. There are many threads on these systems you can find and read about.
Advice:
- install Core Temp, this will monitor and display on the task bar you CPU core temp and you can see CPU load & Temperature at a glance if it approaching or staying near the max levels which will kill the CPU and/or motherboard due to cooking it. Its free just be sure to deselect any additional software from installing during the process. I use it on my notebooks. If the system is running high core Temp all the time you need to have it resolved or it will die and most likely out of warranty and/or your data will be lost if you don't have a backup as well. http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/
- use a laptop cooler. Its a flat pad you sit the laptop on you lap or table with usually two cooling fans that plug into the USB port for power. It will help cool the base of the laptop and other components inside will not be as hot. This will do nothing for the CPU temperature though.

I have problems in communication between my notebook and Epson printer. It goes offline everytime I unplug it from the notebook and there is no way how to switch it on. Although the printer is recognized and scanning is not a problem. Any solution?
this is exactly the kind of response i expected, almost begged support to please not do this to me and yet there it is another meaningless, non helpful, standard template response to restart my apple tv.
this does NOT work which is why i am contacting you. i have tried all suggestions about unplugging and restarting and nothing works.
i live in an apartment and logon to the provided wifi wireless. so i do not have access to a router. however, management says they have talked with their provider and have been assured that the required ports are available.
remember all the jokes about how bad windows was because the solution was always to re boot. funny huh? how is apple any different.
i have been to the local apple care store and they are clueless, too.
should we just end it here and you admit that i will not be getting any support from apple on this one? i got the ipad because my kids were such big fans. it is difficult for me to share their enthusiasm.
at this point i am just curious about how you say you cannot support your own product so i can complete my file on this contact.

We have 2 iPads (2nd and 4th generation). Both have been air printing without trouble to our HP 6700, which is on Apple's list of supported printers. Both iPads were updated to OS 6.1 last night. Now when attempting to air print something, the HP 6700 does not appear on the printer options list of printers to select from. Interestingly, the other supported printer, and HP 8500, does show on the list, but when attempting to air print to it, this results in an error message "An error occurred printing this document." This error happens in multiple apps that support air printing. Is this a bug in iOS 6.1?
The printers are visible in AirPort, AND I can print from a computer (MB Air and a Dell Win7) to the HP 6700 without problems, but no longer from the iPads. What gives? I have powered down the HP 6700 and back up. I even restarted the AirPort Express. The problem persists with printing from the iPads.Hi, everyone, I yesterday bought a HP 6700, after setting everything like supposed to be, I could scan to computer and by eWeb service but not Print directly from iMacs (10.7.5 and 10.8.5) or iPhone, after installing things as suggesting here and HP support site, I decides to called HP support, and they do something, first they force to eliminated all printers from Print & Scan pannel (system preferences) by right-click over printer list on that pannel, and then create the printer from the IP address instead of by default selecting it from list (bonjour), that make the iMacs start printing fine. But iPhone still not. Then HP support suggested that maybe my router didn't support bonjour or it was not activated, so I tried with my phone company with no luck, since they told me that they never hear about this and that my router didn't support it, even if I think they didn't know, period. So I decided to create a network over my regular network, using an Airport Express, I create a new network (connected the Airport through ethernet cable to the router), and then place the iMacs and iPhone over the new network, restarted printer and iPhone, and then finally the iPhone could print on the HP 6700.
So I suggest you try first force the printer using the IP address, thaht solved the problem with iMacs, and then if you can, used another router cause maybe the one you use have "issues" with bonjour/airprint etc....

When I open Firefox , and go to AOL.com it goes to the home page with a message to up grade. I have tried that it tells me I can not do it on my operating system MAC 10.4. Now when I sign on to Aol to use my favorites some time it lets me on, but if i write something e-mail or such it sends it them tells me error message Offline mode check off in file which I do, but it shuts down the internet. I cannot get back on.
You are right, but how could i send it to Apple? when the phone company first replaced my iphone they had in stock alots of iphones and they just sent mine back to Apple and gave me a new one, so all i did is to give them my phone, but now how could i sent it to Apple? and i cant send it by myself, and the store wont do that, its a lost for them.. so sending it to Apple wasnt an option from the begining.
and for the record, i dont think the store where i bought it is an authorized shop.. its just a store who boughts phone's from Apple in a low price and sells it in much more money.. -
