Aironet Bridge 1310 strange message? % Unrecognized host or address, or pro

Hi,
When I configure an ip address on the interface 0 and I then try to ping an ip address I get the follwing message:
ap#ping 10.70.20.1
% Unrecognized host or address, or protocol not running.
What is wrong?
Thx,
Marc

Hi Marc,
this question is a bit flavoured like this:
"My car is broken down! What can i do?"
- Maybe you have no gateway configured.
- Maybe the wrong interface configured
- Maybe ....
What interface 0 have you configured? FastEthernet, Dot11 ????
Please give us some more details. Post your configuration (show run).
Do you use VLANs?
Best Regards,
Frank

  • Aironet bridge 1310 - Speed rate

    Hello,
I have installed a point-to-point link with two aironet bridge 1310 and Yagi antenna.
My question is, given some different allowed speed rates, how can I check, using or CLI commands or web interface, at which speed rate my two bridges are effectively working ?
    Thanks,
    Marcello

From the CLI, do "show dot associat" first. Determine the MAC address of the associated bridge. Then, do a "show dot associat xxxx.xxxx.xxxx" where xxxx.xxxx.xxxx is the MAC address of the associated bridge.
From GUI, click no "ASSOCIATION" in the main page. Then, click on the MAC address of the associated bridge.
From both, the "Current Rate" is shown.

  • Why do I get this strange message from Adobe on my MacBook Pro?

Why do I keep getting a message that says something like "we want to share the space in your computer"?  Since the message said it was from Adobe, I removed an Adobe file. Now the message is gone, but I cannot open various programs that tell me I need that Adobe file to read or open certain programs. What do I do?

  • Strange message when logged in to bpel console

    Hi All!
I just installed bpel on my linux machine. After starting the bpel server and logging into the console I saw this strange message:
    Cannot find instances.
An attempt to fetch the instances using the where condition " ( ci_state = 1 OR ci_state = 2 OR ci_state = 3 )order by ci_modify_date desc " from the datastore has failed. The exception reported is: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist.
Please check that the machine hosting the datasource is physically connected to the network.
Also I created a pl/sql helloworld webservice, and a bpel process to invoke it through a partnerlink. After deploying it to the default domain I see only name of the bpel process in the deployed processes list unlike both the bple process name and the webservice name.
The linux flavor I am using is fedora red hat. The database is oracle 10g on the localhost itself. The bpel version is 10.1.2.0.2.
What could be the cause of these problems. I feel the second problem is because of the first problem that is there. Any suggestions and solutions please.
    Thanking in advance,
    Regards,
    Deepika.

    Hi All!
Ran the script for the view generation. Found it in domain_oracle.ddl. Granted dba privilege to orabpel to execute the script. Redeployed the bpel process. Now no error is there and the bpel process works fine.I think to successfully install bpel on linux box orabpel needs admin privileges.

  • Starting TNSLSNR strange message

I am using 10.2.0 under Fedora Core 4
During startup of TNSLSNR i get a very strange message.
see last line of following block
    Listening Endpoints Summary...
    (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=ipc)(KEY=EXTPROC)))
    (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=localhost.localdomain)(PORT=1521)))

    The command completed successfully
Failed to auto-start Oracle Net Listene using /ade/vikrkuma_new/oracle/bin/tnslsnr
can anyone explain where this line comes from pls

More sloppiness, the script doesn't specify what script interpreter to use and doesn't run in Solaris sh because it uses "export VAR=val" and "COUNT=$((COUNT+1))". These can be cured by either rewriting the script or adding "#!/bin/bash" to the script to request the bash shell.
The dbstart script starts both the database and the listener, but the dbshut script only stops the database.
It's obvious these scripts were casually tested on vikrkuma's Linux machine and then just put into the distribution without further testing.

  • Windows Powershell Has Strange Messages

Although The cleanmgr function continues cleaning my files, Windows Powershell gives me strange messages.  It says "pipeline cannot be invoked while a sessionstateproxy is in progress.  +CategoryInfo   : InvalidOperation
ParentContainsErorRecordException + FullyQualifiedErrorID  :InvalidOperation.  It did this three times, twice when I used cleanmgr and once on it's own.  The cleanmgr function otherwise performed as always.  The chkdsk /scan
function said "a snapshot error has occurred.  Run an offline scan and fix."   I did so twice and still get that "snapshot" message when I enter chkdsk /scan.  The problem hasn't occurred when I entered The chkdsk
/scan or The SFC /Scannow  functions.  SFC /Scannow found no problems.  DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth found no problems.  Cleanmgr ran normally after all of this.   I then restarted the computer and turned it
    off and on again.

    Hi,
This JCO Exception caused by network problems, connection breakdowns, gateway problems, unavailability of the remote SAP system, etc.
What you can do is: Get the host of the SAP System from dev_jrfc.trc or the JRFC trace; ping the SAP system from command line; check routers, gateways, SAP systems
If an error has occurred on a lower communication layer, for example an RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION or RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE exception, have a look at the dev_jrfc.trc files. These files are written by JRFC and can be found in the directories j2ee/cluster/server* of the J2EE Application Server Installation.

  • NW2004s Connect to Message Server Host Failed - BW to Portals connection

    Hi,
I am trying to connect a SAP BW NW2004s Patch 8 system to a NW2004s Portal. All of the checks in RSPOR_SETUP are successful.
However when I try to launch a query from Bex Query it fails with the following message.
    "Connect to message server host failedConnect_PM  TYPE=B MSHOST=SAPMSCR6 GROUP=webshop1_biw R3NAME=CR6 MSSERV=01 PCS=1"
The message server entry in the System Landscape object for the BW Server is "SAPMSCR6". Is this right?
I have searched for information about this and can't find anything. I am sure it is something basic. As anyone else resolved this issue or do they have an idea what might be causing the problem?
    Any suggestions gratefully received.

Hi, I think this might have todo with the fact that your Java stack wants to connect with a server from the same logon group called "PUBLIC".
Please make sure you added the same logon group "PUBLIC" to the ABAP Server.  Try transaction SMLG.
Also as posted above the SLD needs this info aswell.
After using the transaction SMLG, log in and out 5 times in a row to your ABAP stack using SAP GUI. This might actually force an update to the SLD.

  • Strange message while booting up.

I get this message while booting and am wondering if anyone knows how to correct the problem.
Not activating Mandatory Access Control now since /sbin/tomoyo-init doesn't exist.
I haven't found any solutions or much explanation of what it is using google.

When I read the message I felt brave enough to try installing this mysterious tomoyo-tools, system boots fine like I didn't have it and it's happened about for a week. I forgot to have installed that.
Today my machine have had strange message and didn't boot, I've tried the fallback and the first time has worked. From fallback I have reinstalled tomoyo-tools, thinking some upgrade could have broken the package.
Well, reboot the machine and system still not booting, neither fallback this time. WTH!
I've used the livecd to move the binary /sbin/tomoyo-init (yes of course I can chroot and pacman -R but moving the binary was enough), booting correctly and pacman -R it.
The last message written was about kernel start etc, and the system stuck.

  • Determining Message Server Host and Port information

    Hi,
I am working on the NWDS creating a Java WD application and I was told which Netweaver system I should work on but I was not told the Message Server Host  information neither the Port information. I ran transaction SM51 (right click->details)in the Netweaver system but the information it is not working. Even though I can telnet this server port if I go to the J2EE Engine window within the NWDS I do not see the green light. I just see "N/A". I also tried to deploy my application but I keep getting this message: "Cannot determine sdm host (is empty). Please configure your engine/sdm correctly".
    Please advice,
    Diego.

    Hi Diego,
in order to see Message Server Host information and Port information go to SAP J2EE Engine start page: e.g. http://system-name:57100/index.html (use administrator pws).
Then click on System Information, here on the top you can read the Message Server Host and Port.
    Hope this help you.

    Vito
