AirPlay iPod touch to Apple TV.

Has anybody tried the AirPlay facility to beam anything on your ipod touch ( or iphone ) to the Apple TV.
For example has anybody used this method to watch BBC iplayer on their Apple TV.
How does the wifi network stand up transmitting everything twice? Once to ipod touch from internet and then to the Apple TV. What about programs in HD?

My iPad and AppleTV are updated to latest versions. I can play only the audio from programs on BBC iPlayer from my iPad on my AppleTV. Works beautifully for audio, but no video!!!!
Any thoughts?

Can't synch Photos to Ipod Touch or Apple TV?

Recently, when when doing a synch of my ipod touch or apple tv I get an error message that reads: "The iPod...cannot be synched. The disk could not be read from or written to."
I have no idea why this has suddenly started happening. Can anyone help?

If you originally downloaded it to a computer, yes. If you originally downloaded it to an iOS device, probably not; if you want to try anyway, use the Transfer Purchases function in iTunes.

Continuous Video Playback from iPod Touch to Apple tv

I am hoping someone can help me with this issue. I have searched for hours and am unable to locate a response that has worked for me.
I have an iPod Touch (without camera) which plays ALL videos on a playlist consecutivley without returning to the menu.
When I select airplay and have it play through Apple TV then it stops after each episode and requires me to get my iPod Touch (which is plugged into an outlet) and manually select the next episode.
I double checked all of my settings by connecting the iPod Touch to my computer and viewing them. It actually works fine when played on the iPod Touch alone. It's kind of a small viewing area though so I purchased an Apple TV2 (little black box) to use for this when airplay was announced.
I went into the Audio/Video settings on Apple tv Menu and selected Repeat Music: On and Show all Playlists: On
I just updated all software on all devices.
What am I missing?

How do I repeat loop a video file from iPod Touch to Apple TV ?

I have an iPod Touch that is a few years old but running the latest software update. I want to loop a video to then play through Apple TV onto 2 panels at the front of our shop. I have saved the file as a video and Music Video (using Get Info etc) but neither version in the iPod touch will supply the repeat function - it works fine from my MacBook Pro but I cannot leave this in the shop overnight. Each iPod needs a unique email address to used for calling the iPod via FaceTime. It does not have to be an Apple ID email address. I originally set up my iPod to use my Apple ID email address and a different GMail address. I set up my Mac to use FaceTime with the same GMail address. I could call my computer from the from my iPod but not the other way around. I deleted the GMail address from FaceTime on my iPod and am now able to call from either.

My two kids both have an ipod touch, and I have the apple id on my computer. However when my daughter sends and receives messages from her ipod my son can read them and join in conversation (which is annoying my daughter) how can I stop this happening? Do i need to set up a separate apple id for both ipods or can I still be in control with one apple id and they have seperate passwords? Get unique email addresses for each (say gmail) if they don't already have them. Set up these email addresses as iMessage identifiers on both iPods using Settings -> Messages -> Send & receive -> Add another email.

You will have to import the video into your iTunes library and convert it to an AppleTV version. You can find this option in the Advanced menu in iTunes ->create iPad or AppleTV version
