Airplay mirroring is taking very long to load and is only showing one static view then it crashes

airplay mirroring is taking very long to load and is only showing one static view then it crashes.
I am tring to mirror ipad2. I just upgraded to IOS5. Is it an apple TV problem or an Ipad2 problem?
What should I try to fix the problem?

I think i found the solution.  I got mine working.
Reboot the iPad by holding down the Home button and power button at the same time for 6 seconds.  The screen will turn black, apple logo will appear, and it will restart.
Then restart the Apple TV.  (I just unplugged the power)
Then restart your wireless router.  (again, I just pulled the plug on it)
After doing that, i tried the mirroring again, and it worked great.  As soon as I turned it on, it appeared on my TV and is working very quickly.  (well, everything I do on the iPad is delayed on the TV by half a second)

  • Thanks to this community's help, I solved my adware problem. (Hats off to Thomas, The Safe Mac).  Now my Safari pages are taking very long to load-sometimes not at all.  HELP!

Last night I got the community's help in eliminating [I think] my adware problem. THANK YOU Thomas and Mike! Today my Safari webpages are loading at a snail's pace, and sometimes just get stuck.  What's the problem now?

    HI Robert ...
Might be a cache or extension issue...
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
    ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that didn't help, try troubleshooting Safari extensoins.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

  • Apple tv Taking very long to load iMac library

It is taking at least 5 minutes to load the library from my iMac when I try to play songs from iTunes. It started doing this only recently. My home network is working fine with all other equipment (MacBook Pro, iPad etc.) anyone else experiencing this problem?

You might try changing the wifi channel your network uses to eliminate the possibility you are suffering from interference.

  • CachedRowSet taking very long to load

    Hi.
I am loading a cached row set with 15,000 records (11 columns) and it is taking about 10-15mins to load. It fetches the data immediately (I can see the spike in my Task Manager Network tab) but then it just sites there at crs.execute(con) for about 15mins.
Any idea why this is happening? Possible solutions?

  • Regular tv shows and HD both load and I only want one!

Seems like sometimes when I download a tv show I will get the regular version and the HD version. I only want the regular version since it's cheaper so I delete the HD version but they are still in my Available Downloads list and every time I try to delete them, they come back! And every time I buy something new...they show up and start downloading again. How can I delete these HD duplicates of shows I already have once and for all??

Im not sure how to delete them, but there is a simple solution to not getting them at all:
When you download an HD version of something (TV show, Movie) you get BOTH the HD version, and then you get the STANDARD version free. Sort of like a bonus to put it on your iPod (if you have one) since they won't play HD versions.
Now, if they are still appearing in your queue to download, I would just let them download then delete the files. Either way, you paid for them.
On that note, though, you can send the iTunes folk an email saying that you downloaded the HD by mistake and they may credit your account back. That can be done by going into your account and using the "Report Problem" service.

  • WRT54GS2 - Page taking too long to load?

Recently our Internet Service Provider turned our internet back on. About a day or two after using the internet, I've been noticing problems with slow internet connection. At times it will load fast, and other times it'll take a little bit too long to load.
For example, I had a couple tabs open this morning and tried to get on a website in a different tab. The page was taking so long to load that it gave up and I got the message "Unable to connect to the Internet".
    But I have internet.
On my taskbar, there's an icon in the bottom right corner showing that I have internet connection.
Other times I'll try to load a page and it's just blank, and in the corner of the page's tab, there's just an icon of a white sheet of paper followed by the web title.
How come some pages are taking too long to load and others are loading just fine?
    Additional detail if it helps:
I unplugged the power cord from my router and plugged it back in to try and fix it and that didn't work.
My second and third attempt, I refreshed my router. Still nothing.
Also, I have a secure network, password protected.
There have been no severe storms recently that could have messed with the router.
What can I do to fix this issue of a slow loading page?

Hi ashtonlevry, it looks like your router has a messed  up settings right now. That could be because you had it on stand by for a while since you said that your ISP has just turned your connection back on.
It's actually best for you to just reset the device back to the default settings and reinstall it afterwards.
To do the proper reset :
    1. Press and hold the reset button at the back of the router for 30 seconds while the device is on.
    2. Release the button and unplug or power off the device.
     Once done, reinstall the settings.

  • Sharepoint Report is taking very long time to load

SharePoint(2010) Report is taking very long time to load and display in first attempt but from the next attempt it loads and display result normally. It's urgent..please help how to troubleshoot ...

    Hi Kunal,
is there multiple report viewer webpart on page? if so then SharePoint doesn't do well with multiple report viewer web parts. if possible then merge the reports in one.
Try to implement SSRS caching/ Database snapshots for reporting services, it will help you to improve the performance:

It's taking me very very long to load all my apps back to my phone. Can I do them individually?

You have to use the same apple id and password you used to purchase them. If you are using a different one then it will not work. Go to Settings>store and make sure on the very bottom you have the correct apple id. Do not use your icloud id as it is different.

  • Taking too long to load

I just got a refurbished iPod 4g. When I try to connect to iCloud, it says it 'cannot connect to server' and when I try to access iMessage it tries to load the country/region I am in... for a very very long time. I have not been able to get any further in these programs that the 'loading' or 'cannot connect' screen.
Any way to fix these loading problems, or do I just have to wait it out?
    Thanks so much!

    Hi Pandiarajan,
well I doubt you are able to speed it up (aside from taking a faster computer ).
And you didn't say what exactly is "too long" !?
This message only shows the last loaded item.
Maybe LabView is busy with initializations like checking 'VISA resource names'. This may take a while (especially when scanning GPIB or other communication buses for devices) and you just have to wait for finishing this step...

  • Intermittently nursery GC is taking very long pause time

    Hi,
I have jboss application server running with JRockit R27.6.5 on RedHat Linux. I see that the nursery GC is taking very long time. Some times it takes more than 10 seconds. This causes TLA-fetch error for all the threads.
    High nursery time -
    [memory ][Sun Jul 10 23:10:18 2011][05730] 23340.903: parallel nursery GC 3270701K->3100453K (6144000K), 2740.705 ms
    Usual nursery time -
    [memory ][Sun Jul 10 23:27:23 2011][05730] 24368.799: parallel nursery GC 4361524K->4191033K (6144000K), 63.751 ms
This behavior is puzzling because it was working fine till last week. We have two applications running on this server which are totally different in nature but we see the same behaviour wrt nursery GC. This high nursery GC is happening even when there is absolutely no load on the server. It is happening every 10 minutes or so.
Infact we thought that this is something to do with hardware and we replaced it with new but we see the same behavior on the new hardware.
We have given 6GB RAM to one server and 3.5GB RAM to another server. The machine is 24 cpu.
    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply.
I would expect fragmentation of memory would happen over a period of time. I am also facing this problem on other servers with large heap.
But this is different. Below are JVM settings for two servers running on the same machine.
    JAVA_OPTION="-Xms${6000}m -Xmx${6000}m -Xgc:gencon -Xverbosetimestamp -Xverbose:memory,cpuinfo,opt -Xgcpause -Xgcreport -Xmanagement:ssl=false,authenticate=false -Djrockit.managementserver.port=7090"
    JAVA_OPTION="-Xms${3500}m -Xmx${3500}m -Xgc:gencon -Xverbosetimestamp -Xverbose:memory,cpuinfo,opt -Xgcpause -Xgcreport
The nursery pause time is high right after the server restart. Most of the time its fine but intermittently there is a spike. Sometimes spike goes all the way upto 10 seconds.
