Airport drop-down menu greyed out

On my MacBook, the drop-down menu that appears when the Airport menu bar icon is clicked has greyed out. Although the MacBook joins my primary network just fine, I cannot choose my secondary network (second base station), even though it is listed. All action choices like "join other network", etc. are also greyed out and cannot be chosen.
I've rebooted, cycled Airport on/off/on, checked settings in Sys Prefs -> Network, etc. I've checked the Airport Extreme Base configuration using Airport Admin utility. This is a new problem, no known changes to system or applications other than installing Apple software updates as issued with a 2 week delay in case there's an update problem.
My Mini shows the drop-down Airport menu normally, and I can choose/join both my primary and secondary networks. Same software status as the MacBook - no new apps, all Apple updates after 2 week delay.
Any ideas for how to get my MacBook to un-grey the Airport menu items? Thanks!

Closing this question out, the MacBook reverted to normal behavior sometime since I posted the problem and this post. No clue why.

Do you mean the drop-down list that shows up when you right-click on the signature (in the Signature Panel or signature field)?
I do not think that just saving a PDF with no changes would result in that unless you somehow flattened the PDF.
Can you see the signature in the Signature Panel? Can you expand ([+] at left) the signature? Does the Signature Panel provide info for this signature? Is the signature validated? If "yes" then is the signature status Valid?
It could be that when you saved the file you somehow flattened the signature, so that now you have only signature appearance in the PDF but not a real signature field which contains all signature properties. If the Signature Panel does not contain your signature (enpty if your signature was the only one) then this is the most likely cause.

Get / Put commands in site drop down menu greyed out and not working

About a year ago my get and put commands greyed out and stopped working. I called my webhost and they were no help, they did say that they moved my site to a new (linux) server about the same time. I have applied all the correct settings on my configure server window and when I hit test it connects successfully.
I have been posting over the last year using Firefox FTP but am making quite a few changes and it's making me crazy going back and forth. Anyone have any ideas?

Time Capsule appears twice in Airport drop down menu

Menu Bar > Airport drop-down menu: My Time Capsule's wireless name shows up twice in my list of wifi sources. Once in the group with all the other routers and again in a group called "Devices".
Long story short…
I start with a perfectly functional, WPA/WPA2 password-protected Time Capsule: Over a year old. Two MbP's using it for Time Machine backup. Connected to a 1.5TB MyBook external HD via usb. Doubles as my wifi router. Everything's connected to it, including my wifi-enabled printer. Works great. No issues.
I get this idea in my head that I need to hide my wifi signal. I figure it out and ¡Viola! Hidden. Then I try to add my wifi-enabled printer to the list of allowed devices in "Access Control". I hit a big snag and can't figure out how to get it to connect (btw, don't buy a Brother printer. Pure crap). So, I give up and revert permissions back to visible, password-protected state.
Skipping irrelevant issues that I already resolved, I now have the wireless name of my Time Capsule appearing twice in the airport drop down menu. It appears with all the other wifi sources my machine detects AND appears at the bottom under a new category called "Devices".
All I want is to have things back the way they were and this anomaly in the drop down menu is a constant reminder that I #1 failed and #2 bought a crap printer.
(Long story long, I guess. Sorry.) How do I delete this "Devices" group from the airport drop down menu?

How can I get the airport drop down menu to allow me to enter a WPA2 Personal Password

Powerbook G4, with Airport Card firmware 9.52. Through the System Preferences, Network, using the "edit" button, I can enter a WPA2 Personal password, but when I go to connect to the network, the drop down menu only allows me to enter a WEP Password. And, obviously, I get an error message saying I have the wrong password. Why can I use WPA2 in the system preferences, but the airport menu doesn't then allow me to enter a WPA2 password to connect?

Try Connect to Other... from the Airport menu.

Advanced Drop Down List greyed out

I believe that the h1, h2 heading tags should be available under the advanced drop down list. When I try to edit a page and place a h1 tag I can't because the Advanced drop down list is greyed out and I can't use ti.

Please post the URL for the site you're working with. I'll take a look at the source and styling options applied to the region. Is the Advanced menu grayed out when trying to edit all edtiable regions in your page? Did it ever work with your page?

SSRS Parameter Drop downs are greyed out after changes to SSAS cube

I am facing a weird problem. I have 3 SSRS reports that are based on an SSAS cube. Few days back I deployed some changes to cube and everything works ok on dev environment. When I deployed the same changes to production, SSRS reports don't work. I don’t
get any error or anything when I click open the report but all the parameter boxes are greyed out. If I restore SSAS database from dev to production then SSRS reports work fine and I can select parameter drop downs. What could possibly wrong here. I have no
idea to what to troubleshoot here.

Hi Nik,
Are you using render the report from a report snapshot? In contrast with reports that run on demand, it is not possible to specify a different parameter value for a report snapshot when the report is open. So the parameter textbox is grayed out. If the users
want to view the report with different parameter, we can select “Always run this report with the most recent data” option in “Processing Options properties” page.
Besides, if the issue is not in this scenario, we can try to edit the report with Report Builder to check whether the report is ok. Such as delete the parameters, then recreate them to check again.
If there are any misunderstanding, please elaborate the issue for further investigation.

Drop Down Menu Prebuilt Site

Hello i have been playing for a week with no results so i am looking for specific help. I have enherited a website designed by someone else as an html template yet i am unable to edit anything in the template section, can only update each and every code and page individually. I am using Dreamweaver CC on windows 8 platform. the site i am working on is cef.forgivenitsolutions.org (where i am hosting while i check it out). I have set up a temp server on my computer and it is working fine. So on to the question i was given the template and ask to mimac http://cefindiana.com/ when it comes to the drop down menu in the upper right hand corner. I have tried everything from simply copying the code to installing my own drop down menu with out any luck--i am sure it is extremely simple but i just find an article or video to help. Please help they want to go live with this site friday but i cant fique this out. Please be nice as Dreamweaver is not my expertise i am a graphic designer, but i am trying to help a non-profit out.

If you follow the above instructions you will have a working menu identical to the one on the cefindiana.com site.
Once working you obviously need to replace the menu links with the ones applicable to your site.
Once every thing is working correctly you need to grab the .js scripts from the links below and save them to your own .js files and link those to your page/s.

Have you selected an image?
Unless a good explanation appears, you may start onthe list below.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Question: Why some of my filters in filter drop down menu such as filter galery, artistic, brush stroke, distort, pixelate, sketch and texture all grey out? I have my file(picture open). How do i bring back? thanks

A lot of the artistic type filters in photoshop only work when an image is 8 bits/channel.
Also, usually they work best if the image is RGB Color as well.

Yes, you'll need a client-side script to do fade-in/fade-out fx. Look at jQuery Superfish.

It's the first time that I've went into the drop down menu since installing the latest FF and the edit option it grayed out, and not letting me access it.

That is normal. Does the menu open if you hover the arrow at the right of the Edit entry in the App menu?
Does the Paste link get highlighted if there is content on the clipboard and a text area is selected?
The entries in the Edit menu only work if they apply and there is something to do like text is selected and Copy will work.

Choose signature drop-down menu is grayed out

I know how to set up a signature for email; however, the "Choose Signature" drop-down menu is grayed out. I even put in several signatures thinking it needed more than one to choose from, but it is still grayed out. So I cannot choose a signature and thus my email does not have one.

So that option does not appear to be available.
Any suggestions?

Ah, I was just clicking on the + to add one, since I only have one email account.. As soon as I did as you mentioned, and THEN clicked on the + it added Signature 2, and that one works. I now have a signature in the email.
