Airport Extreme won't let me log in or reset password
So about 3 months ago I bought a new Aiport Extreme base station. I came home and tried to set it up (btw, I'm a very experienced Apple user and fairly savvy in computing and networking) but every time I fired up the Airport Utility and tried to set up the base station I'd get to the point where I put a password in and it would take it. The base station would restart and from that point forward I wouldn't be able to enter a password to connect to the network. Every time I entered the password (which I had just set up, btw) it would reject it.
I tried this for a couple hours and finally gave up and have now been out of town for several months. Flash forward to today, same issue. So I tried connecting to the base station from my iPhone and downloading the new firmware to see if that would help. I was able to connect, download the firmware update and then it wouldn't let me do anything further. I tried logging in again from my computer and same exact result, it won't accept the password that i have set up in the base station. I have now factory reset this unit about 10 times and still no luck. Help!
Open System Preferences > Users & Groups
Click on your new user
Click Reset Password... Type New Password
Try to login to your new user
To access your network MacServer you would need to enter the appropriate server login details.

My brand new out the box 5th gen (2013) airport extreme won't let anything connect to it. I've tried several setups from sratch by the book. multiple resets and restores still nothing. It just keeps telling mt that the password is in correct even though it is 100% right.
My curren set up is as follows. Phone Line -> ADSL2+ router -> Airport extreme. There is also an old airport express running of the router, this was done because the airport extremem was failing to work.
Trying to connect:
2x iPhone 4s
2x macbook air
2x Mac Pro.You will want the Extreme to be in bridge mode if it is currently disabled. (see image below)
This will allow the ADSL2+ router to perform two important functions for your entire network: 1) Provide both the DHCP & NAT services, and 2) Provide PPPoE support to allow access to your ADSL ISPs network.
If the Extreme is left in its default state, a router, it will conflict with the first item and you will have want is known as a "double NAT" condition. Something you will want to avoid. -
Itunes on iphone won't let me log in with correct password
I have been all over the forums trying every options I have found. But when I go to update my apps my iphone/itunes asks for my password again. I have double and triple checked my password and it is correct. It is logging me in to my cloud, to the apple website etc. I am not typing it in wrong, believe me I have checked that as well. I have gone and reset the cache and reset the warnings in itunes. I have updated the software. I have made sure my icloud password is retyped in. What else can I do? I don't know what to try. I have reset the password and it still won't let me log in with the new, correct password. This has been going on for the past 3 months and nothing.
Yes, it is showing my apple id. And no, I don't have any other apple id's. I have gone into my settings into iTunes and App Store and signed out and signed back in in the apple id section. It connects no problem in my settings. But when I'm actually in the app store "App" and it prompts me for my password it comes back saying that the apple id and or password is incorrect.

Everything was working great until last week. Not sure what happened. My TV went blank, DVR shut off and iMac and Macbook Pro lost internet. I was able to finally get my computer and laptop to work, not so lucky with my other devices. Our family has iPhones, a Droid, iPods, Nook and most recently a Kindle Fire. None of which will now connect into my home network.iPhone connects to work network just fine. Just keep getting the little wheel with no luck at home.
I've reset my Airport Extreme back to factory settings....no luck. Reset my iPhone back to factory settings.....no luck. Looks like it keeps getting stuck and tripped up, but I can't figure out why.
I was told to change the band from N to G, but I'm not sure that's the best option from what I've been reading. Plus I can't even find where I could change it!
Looking for guidance on what to check for and what I should have selected in my network preferences and Airport Utility for optimal use.
My modem is connected to my Airport which is hardwired to my computer via ethernet.

Factory reset the Extreme (so we don't second guess later), and re-set up the extreme using iOS5 on your iPhone.
Set up your Wi-Fi network with your iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, or Mac.

AirPort Extreme won't let me reset my password.
When I try to reset my password, I get the following message: "Advertising a service globally using Bonjour requires a global hostname." To my knowledge, I'm not even using Bonjour for anything.
I have exactly the same problem on a Mac, myiphone and my iPad. Also two accounts neither of the verified passords were accepted and neither of the two new resets worked. Also got "conatct customer care"...totally useless and gets you into a nonseseical loop of crazy questions...I just want to SPEAK to someone at SKPYE for help. Now 6 days!

My friend wanted to create a new iCloud account that was different to her iTunes and app one when she deleted her iCloud account that was the same as her iTunes it won't let her log into her iTunes one now what can I do to fix it she has paid or apps and songs and of she makes another account everything will be lost.

Iv downloaded the 0845 wizard from the App Store. Registered my details and it has been working. But for some reason it won't let me log in and keep saying failed every time I try to use it. Iv deleted and re-downloaded the app and it still says the same?
I would say to start by looking on their web site... unfortunately, that appears to be dead.
Based on the horrible ratings on the App Store (1 star for the current version), I'm not surprised it doesn't work well. -

yep it won't let me log in with my Apple ID and password. my apple ID works fine with icloud and logging into the apple support community. I reset my password to see if that helped. it didn't. I tried to empty the cache.db file from the appstore folder in my library. that didn't work. I tried restarting my mac. that didn't work. So I guess I'm pretty much screwed...
I've had this computer for only two weeks and I can safely say i'm not impressed with Lion OSX 10.7.2
There are a lot of weird kinks and issues. Also compatability issues with apps that have worked on macs for a long time.
1.One example is the SSH client Fugu which is just now releasing a preview of the version for lion users (the full version for lion is still not out yet). Why is it that Lion was released before the compatability issues with major third-party applications was addressed?
2. Another issue, VM fusion newest release with the newest update STILL doesn't provide migrate pc for Lion. only the parallel operating system service works.
3. I can't find any internal files with spotlight without bending over backwards. although after bending over backwards i still can't find anything. for example, I wanted to search for a .plist extension file. In the old days you could set your search preferences so that if you wanted to see hidden or sensitive computer system files you could set it to allow this. Same on Pcs. Now, you can't. You can set preferences in the system preferences to look for certain things in certain applications....but there is no way to simply search for files. You can't find application folders and look into those. Nothing. It's all hidden. heck, it took me over a week or so just to be able to find the Mac HD. that used to be on the desktop. not anymore.
4. Wanted to download the xcode developer tool from the appstore the other day. tried to do that and it lagged forever. didn't tell me at what percentage it was downloading. nothing. then I noticed how many GB it took in space and also the numerous one star reviews saying how the newest update had ruined the application and not to waste my time. Why can't we find archived versions of applications so that in case the most recent one is totally messed up, we could at least have the opportunity to go back to the old version?
5. logging into the appstore the first time it wouldn't even let me download a free app without putting in my credit card information. not exactly reassuring after hearing about all these credit card frauds going around that are found to be connected with appstore CC info.
I am seriously thinking that I should either go and get a copy of snow leopard or just return the computer entirely. I haven't been able to get any of my school work done because of all these weird problems. at first i thought it was because I haven't used a mac in over a year.....but now i'm thinking there are issues over at the apple software development team. I hope that apple will get their act together and release a major patch to fix the problems with Lion. They owe it to their faithful customers. please don't turn into another microsoft.I have decided to dedicate this thread to the wonderful errors of Lion OSX. Today I discovered a new treasure of doggie poop in Lion. No Save As......
I repeat. No Save As. In text editor I couldn't save the file with a new extension. I finally accomplished this oh so majorly difficult task (because we all know how difficult it should be to save a file with a new extension) by pressing duplicate and then saving a copy of the file with a new extension. Yet then I had to delete the first copy and send it to trash. And of course then I have to secure empty trash because if I have to do this the rest of my mac's life I will be taking up a quarter of percentage of space with duplicate files. So this is the real reason they got rid of Save As: so that it would garble up some extra GB on the ole hard disk.
So about 20 minutes of my time were wasted while doing my homework and studying for an exam because I had to look up "how to save a file with a new extension in mac Lion" and then wasted time sitting here and ranting on this forum until someone over at Apple wakes up from their OSX-coma.
are you freaking kidding me Apple? I mean REALLY?!!!! who the heck designed this?!!! I want to know. I want his or her name and I want to sit down with them and have a long chat. and then I'd probably splash cold water on their face to wake them up.

Try assigning Queen as the Album Artist on the compilations in iTunes on your computer.

Have you tried booting off the Installation DVD then dropping into the Utilities to Reset Password? It may have got corrupted, just set it back to the one you are familiar with.

In the new IOS 7, my IMessage and FaceTime won't let me log in using the correct Apple ID and password. How can I fix this?
Other users have reported same problem with 4G iPod/iOS 6.1.6 and I have not seen a solution. One user reported yesterday or the day before that it just started working again.

Is your Apple ID set properly at Settings > iTunes & App Stores?
If so, log out from there and log back in.
If that doesn't solve it (it should), check Settings > General > Restrictions -
I am having trouble with face time , it was working well yesterday and today am not able to use it due to an error that won't let me log in !!!

I don't know why my itunes won't let me log in. All the Apple website tells me is that it's an error when I'm downloading something, but I'm not downloading anything.

Thanks for the question. (-50) is a timeout error that can occur when downloading content or when simply trying to access the iTunes Store. If you have automatic downloads enabled, you may be experiencing this error when iTunes is attempting to automatically download available content.
