Airport how to prevent from being cut off by Netcut

Im using an aiport router connected to my pc, my brother on the other hand is using a program called NetCut which disconnects me from the internet when he feels that i am lagging him. It makes the status connected but no internet connection, is there a way i can prevent this from happening?
is there a way to protect myself from this? also how can i disconnect people off my network wireless and ethernet?

you could place a frame with horizontal elasticity set to shrink around your author's field. make that field fill 90% of the page width and place the date-column beside it.
If you have small number of authors the field should shrink and take the date fied with it.
If you have a very large number of authors the list would occupy 90% of the pagewidth, spread over more than one row, the dat field would be places at the right end of the page at the top.

Medium might be the default for high ppi monitors but it is very different from the original windows settings that were used when 96 ppi was standard. Of course for a high resolution FullHD resolution on a 15 inch screen you end up with a ppi of around 150ppi.
This article explains somewhat the history of where 96ppi came from and that it was in fact already a convinient misrepresentation of the real values. The problem is partly that LabVIEW makes some assumptions about the size of text based on the actual ppi settings while the rendering of the text as done by Windows can be scaled by your control panel adjustment. However the solution is not as trivial as replacing all assumbtions about the size of text by the new values as that won't always give the correct values either and also has quite a lot of other issues such as controls suddenly looking very oversized when moving a front panel from a low ppi device to a high ppi device. Basically the way Windows deals with screen resolution and different ppi makes it simple for Windows to render text on a display without ugly aliasing effects but makes it impossible for an application to both be text and size accurate when rendering windows like a LabVIEW front panel.
It's also a reason why so called retina displays still don't really work under Windows while IOS has them already for quite some time.
Ravens Fan, Windows 7 has Normal (100%), Medium (125%) and Larger (150%). To maintain the relative text size on an old CRT for a FullHD 15 inch labtop display one would have to use the Larger setting, which is outright ugly. I personally use Smaller on all my Windows 7 labtops because of issues like the LabVIEW front panels rendering but also many other applications get into trouble otherwise. Yes it looks kind of small on my FullHD 15 inch LCD monitor, but at least it is all consistent.

Playing slideshow on tv from ipad cutting off picture

I am connecting my ipad 2 to my TV with a RocketFish Composite adapter and trying to play a video slideshow on my TV. I am able to play the video/slideshow just fine, however both the top and bottom of the videos (and pictures) are being cut off by several inches. When played directly on my iPad the size is fine ( no cut offs). The videos were converted to Ipad compatable (.m4v) using Aimersoft Video Converter and the iPad presets. The resolutions of the videos are 720 x 480. The TV I am connecting to is 1080P LED TV. I have tried different aspect ratios in the TV's settings but there are not much to choose from and each setting changes the size of the video a little, but the amount being cut off from the top and bottom is consistent. What can i do to correct this problem. Also, I need this slideshow for a trade show I am in tomorrow afternoon, so a quick response would help a lot.
Another thing... In my research so far, I found that iPad 2 can mirror its display (meaning what you see on the iPad you see on the TV) onto the TV. But I cannot seem to get that to work either. I can only play videos and slideshows from the apps that allow you to. How do I go about mirroring my display to my TV? Does it only work with a HDMI connection?

What adapter are you using? I have the Digital AV Adapter that connects to the HDMI input of a small Vizio HDTV. It seems to work OK, and has stereo sound. My only problem has been the weight of the HDMI cable pulling the adapter out of the iPad.
Apple also sells VGA, Component and Composite adapters. I also have the VGA adapter which works on the HDTV and one LCD monitor. However it doesn't work on a couple of older monitors I tried. Also VGA is video only. You would need to run a separate cable for sound on the TV.

IBooks Author in-line tables are being cut off

iBooks Author in-line tables are being cut off at the bottom of a column, instead of flowing to the next column, or moving the entire table.
The entire point of marking a table as in-line, is to get it to move as text is inteserted before it. But when that happens, nothing makes sure the table remains visible. When the top of the table gets pushed to a new column, it reappears intact, but when half the table won't fit, it just disappears below the bottom margin.
How can I prevent that?

Actually I just did. I gave up on this long ago, but with your reply I found a way to make it work. It seems strange, but it works half way.
First draw a text box, then inside of the text box, put your table. Make the text box In-line. If you add rows to your table, you need to make the text box bigger yourself, as it won't grow automatically. When you type in front of the text box, when it won't fit on the column or page, the entire box is moved to the next column or page. That is the half that works.
The half that doesn't work, is that when part of the table won't fit, it would have been nice if the non-fitting portion was moved to the next column or page, with a new header row. Maybe with time, Apple will fix that.
But at least it won't cut off half the table this way.

Question...audio clips being cut off

Hi...just started having this issue...audio clips, usually less than 20 seconds, are now being cut off at the last few seconds of the clip. Can't figure out wny it is happening or how to correct it. If I select Edit, Play Original, I can hear the full clip.

What version of PPRO are you running. Exactly (e.g., "6.0.5" or "7.0.1" = good; CS6 or CC = not good)
exactly what kind of clips? The file type. The audio codec. And their source, too.
if they're A/V clips (as opposed to audio-only), have you messed with the frame rate through the Interpret Footage dialog?
Do you hit this problem both in the Source Monitor and with clips that have been added to a sequence (i.e., playing from the Timeline/Program Monitor)

As I understand it, it seems like a part of the screen isn't visible at the bottom. I would start by quitting all the running apps on the iPhone:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
I would next check to see if an Accessibility option enabled making the screen larger with iTunes:
Use Accessibility features in iOS
Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to any computer with iTunes installed.
In iTunes, select your device.
From the Summary pane, click > Configure Universal Access in the Options section at the bottom.
Select the feature you would like to use and click OK.

Making a slideshow - top of photos being cut off

I've been trying to make a slideshow with some of my photos being in Portait mode as against Panorama and when reviewing
my slide show the top of the photo is being cut off. This appears to be for only those that are in Portrai mode.
Does anyone know how I can overcome this annoying aspect?

Make sure the slideshow setting isn't set to scale photos to fill screen.
That will create black areas on each side of the portrait photos but will not cut off the top and bottom.

I have a Pavilion P6-2317 with a Officejet 4635. My problem is that I cannot print e-mail without the right side being cut off. Even print preview cuts off the right side.Yes stretch to fit is in. Officejet Pro 8600. faxes being sent or received are being cut off.

I have a OfficeJet Pro 8600. Most (8 out of 10) faxes being sent or received are being cut off. I or they only receive half the sheet. HELP!!!

Hello bonnie753, and welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!
I see you are having fax issues. I would like to assist. Are you using the fax line that come with the printer? Are you plugged direct into a telephone wall jack or are you running into a modem? Do you have anything between the printer and the wall jack on the fax line?
I would suggest performing a power reset. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I would also suggest changing a few settings under your fax menu on the front panel of the printer:
-Go to your setup menu
-Select Fax settings
-Set fax speed to slow
-Turn off Error Correction Mode

Left side of reports are being cut off when printed.

The leftmost character is being cut off some reports when printed. I have added the following to the registry on the report server but it still is cutting off the the left side of some reports.
REPORTS_ADD_HWMARGIN = YES
I am also getting a blank page after each printed page.

Any change the OS changed?
For example we were running 6 and everything was Windows.
On 10 the Report Server in on Linux and we had to play with the Fonts some to make it work.
We change the uifont.ali file
Its a long shot but in that file under these sections here what I have it it helps (Please make a copy first)
In the file /u01/app/oracle/product/midtier/guicommon/tk/admin/uifont.ali there are several issues.

Emails being cut off

some of my outbound emails are being cut off when the reach the senders. is this a common problem with notes? i think the setup is ok and it is only something that has happened in the last coulple of weeks?

Why are pop-up windows too small, text is being cut off. Problem is occurring with webkinz

When I go to webkinz, the pop-up windows are too small to display all the information in the box. Text is being cut off. It works fine with Explorer. This has not always been a problem-- but is giving problems in the lat month. It occurs when you sign in, not noticeable on opening home page.
